Chapter 55 Fairy Dragon

Chapter 55 Fairy Dragon

It was clear that Galos seemed somewhat irritable and displeased at this moment.

Samantha shrank back, said no more, and turned to leave.

Garus lay down again, his huge wings spread out, his dragon tail drooping, and he squinted his eyes, enjoying a rare moment of quiet rest, basking in the sun.

A few days later.

The sun's rays dyed the sky a dark gold, and a fierce wind howled among the jagged rocks, stirring up fine sand.

Galos folded its wings and hovered quietly among the flowing wind and floating clouds, its dragon eyes lowered as it gazed down at the hills below.

A flock of horned sheep was reflected in his field of vision, sharpening their horns with the large rocks around them.

These ram-like creatures have giant, curved horns on their heads crackling with electricity, and each time they lower their heads and rub against the rocks, tiny arcs of electricity are released.

In the center of the flock, a ram as large as an elephant slowly raised its head.

Its horns are no longer the blue-white electric light of ordinary members, but a dark silver color like liquid metal, with lightning-like patterns covering the surface. Whenever it grinds its horns, the entire piece of hard basalt will crack with spiderweb-like scorch marks amidst a piercing sizzling sound.

"Today is your day."

This was Galos' first time hunting after a three-day rest.

The enormous dragon wings spread out, casting shadows that covered the flock of sheep.

Galos made no attempt to conceal his presence, swooping down like a crimson lightning bolt. The piercing shriek as his wings tore through the air announced his arrival and startled the flock of sheep.

Ordinary Thunderhorn sheep instinctively want to scatter and run away.

But as the leader raised its head, and a crackling sound of electricity emanated from between its horns, the flock calmed down again.

One by one, the Thunderhorn sheep raised their heads, their horns flashing with electricity, and then simultaneously shot into the sky.

Countless silver snakes danced and intertwined to form an electric net, rising against the sky and enveloping the swooping Garus.

With a flap of its wings, Garus Dragon came to a sudden stop just before crashing into the electric grid, then turned almost ninety degrees, demonstrating a terrifying maneuverability far exceeding that of ordinary dragons.

The leader of the Thunderhorn Rams let out a low growl, and its two horns erupted with dense chains of lightning, which ricocheted through the air in pursuit of Garus's figure.

The lightning chains generated by this type of spell skill are not at the speed of light, but they are still incredibly fast.

Galos did not rush to swoop down and kill the flock. With his wings flapping and sparks flying, his massive body moved nimbly, constantly turning and speeding, dancing among the lightning chains.

Graceful as a startled swan, lithe as a swimming dragon.

The lightning chains, known for their speed, could not strike him.

As the Thunderhorn Sheep leader's magical energy dwindled and all its attacks missed, fear and anxiety gripped it. It abandoned its attack, scattering its flock to escape the dragons' predation. The leader itself, its hooves electrified, began to flee with lightning speed.

But how can that speed compare to Garus?

He swooped down, his eyes fixed intently on the leader of the flock.

Just as the leader of the Thunderhorn sheep pushed off the ground with its hind hooves, the dragon claws precisely gripped its spine, lifting it into the sky.

At such close range, as the leader of the Thunderhorn Rams struggled, a thick current of electricity exploded along the ram's horns, and countless silver-white electric snakes leaped onto Garos's body, jumping inside and outside his dragon scales.

However, Galus remained unmoved.

Apart from feeling slightly numb, he did not experience any pain or burns.

By frequently whipping himself with his tail, which was reinforced by the lightning ring, Garros's lightning resistance had increased, so this level of damage did not have a significant impact on him.

His movements remained agile.

With a snap, the claw broke the spine of the Thunderhorn leader.

After that, Garos continued hunting, specifically targeting monsters with spell-like abilities, using their attacks to test and train his own resistances, accumulating them little by little.

The sun gradually set in the west, sinking behind the mountains.

Bathed in the brilliant glow of the sunset, Garus returned to the Pinnacle Valley.

Thud! Thud!

A heavy thud echoed as Garros tossed two enormous, half-dead beasts from the sky, landing them in front of the bears that were training with him.

"These are your rewards!"

A deep voice came from mid-air, surprising and delighting the bears.

Galus not only doesn't need his servants to hunt food for him, but after he has eaten his fill, he will also give away any extra food he has hunted.

Training with him is a tough job.

After a hunt, the bears are often exhausted and seriously injured, which greatly reduces their hunting efficiency.

Garus didn't consider himself an evil dragon and wouldn't mistreat his followers, so he gave them blood food to help them recover faster and continue sparring with him.

It circled in the sky for a moment.

Galos folded his wings and landed in front of a boiling pool of sulfur, then jumped in.

A hissing sound rang out as the pool water touched his dragon scales. Bubbles rose continuously around him, releasing corrosive gases, and the surrounding area became barren.

Galos remained calm and composed, closing his eyes and immersing his entire body in the water.

The pool was filled with metallic particles and possessed strong corrosive properties and high temperatures, but it was just right for Galos, whose body was covered in dragon scales and had thick, tough skin.

The exploding scales on his body gradually turned a bright red, but they did not explode under Garos's careful control.

The pool water flowed through the gaps in the scales, coming into contact with the lower layer of scales. With a hissing corrosion, the metal particles contained in the water gradually adhered to this layer of scales, tempering its strength. Galos, meanwhile, simply took a nap inside.

Not long after.

Garus arrived at the edge of the Needle Valley. Under the cover of night, seeing no trace of other intelligent creatures around, he resumed his targeted training of the little dragons.

Bang bang bang!

With each impact of the red iron dragon.

Wood chips flew everywhere, the trunk gradually became riddled with holes, and finally creaked and fell to the side.

Galos exhaled, feeling that the little dragon's strength seemed to have improved; at least, the soreness was less than last time.

"How about we try chiseling some stone?"

He had a bold idea, but after careful consideration, he rejected it, feeling that it was better to proceed step by step.

Suddenly.

Just as we were preparing to leave.

Galos caught a faint rustling sound behind him, like the sound of dragon scales rubbing against branches and leaves, and turned around abruptly.

Big eyes meet small eyes, and their gazes lock for a fleeting moment.

The figure hidden in the bushes froze, stopping its attempt to quietly turn and leave.

It was small, like a kitten, with a slender and delicate body covered with a layer of colorful dragon scales, mainly in red, blue and purple. Its wings on both sides of its body were like butterflies, gleaming with a faint silver-gray light in the darkness.

Its appearance is somewhat peculiar, and its size is too small.

But there is no doubt about it.

This is a dragon.

Fairy Dragon.
