The laboratory, once cluttered with test tubes and glass bottles, had been cleaned out and furnished with new tablecloths. A brand-new sewing machine sat on the table. It was something Roland Hill had recently purchased from the rabbits. Thanks to trade, some alchemical artifacts could also be purchased in the Rabbit Ears' city, and this sewing machine had come from the Hinayue Council in the south.
Although the Young Moon Council is not as good as Lurna in manufacturing large machinery and golems, it is more proficient in some small alchemical creations and potions. In particular, it has been trading with the Plantagenet Dynasty for many years, and has absorbed many novel ideas and technologies from the East.
The Kingdom of the Young Moon is also one of the heirs of the Kingdom of Oz, and has inherited the friendship between the Kingdom of Oz and the Plantagenet Dynasty. The emperor of the Eastern Dynasty has even met with high-level wizards from the Young Moon Council, and high-level officials from both sides often visit each other.
This sewing machine was made by combining the skills of oriental craftsmen. It is made entirely of brass and is very expensive.
The window on the wall was open, and the chirping of birds could be heard outside. Loran Hill stepped on the pedal of the sewing machine, and as the roller continued to turn, a row of meticulous stitches was formed.
At first, she thought making clothes would be tiring, but seeing each piece of clothing being sewn brought a subtle sense of satisfaction. It was like something she had dreamed of, gradually becoming a reality in her hands. While it might not be the same as her original dream, the exquisiteness and authenticity of the reality made her feel fulfilled and happy.
On the other side of the room were two hangers, covered with clothing the girl had made herself. Some of the pieces were complete sets, like a fitted white top that revealed her shoulders and arms, a black waistband with a crisscross ribbon connecting the middle, and a two-layered skirt. The outer layer was a gauzy black, while the inner lining was a more textured black. The hem of the skirt had a subtle lace pattern. For colder winters, a shawl could be added to complement the look.
Originally, she hadn't planned on making something so elaborate, but during a trip to the Bunny Clan's city, Mira and Alya recommended various fashion magazines to her, eager for her to wear fancy clothes, as they truly looked good. Unable to resist the two bunnies' enthusiastic recommendations, she modified the clothes from those magazines into a simple yet sophisticated style.
The clothes were almost finished, and today she was working on a doll. The twilight fabric was a bit complicated to make, and it wasn't fully formed until today, so it was the first thing she used to make something she had planned long ago.
The puppet is filled with the finest moonlight cotton, with a light purple plaid twilight cloth as the exterior, two round black crystals as eyes, and the joints are tied with thin wires. An orange gem is inlaid in the center of the puppet, and it is matched with alchemical inscriptions to allow it to better cast magic.
As the clouds outside the window slowly crossed the blue sky, the bear-shaped puppet took shape.
After sewing the last corners, Loran Hill lifted up the doll, connected the gem inside, and made the black crystal on its surface emit a faint light, and then placed it on the table.
The puppet moved, trembled a little, then slowly climbed up and turned its body with a little curiosity.
"Great! This way, we'll have another Sequence 6 helper!" Loran Hill clapped his hands in delight. While this couldn't be considered mission accomplished, it was still a significant addition. After all, the more helpers, the better. Right now, it would be quite troublesome for her to fight this stuffed bear.
It's probably Loran Hill ≥ Original Sequence 6 Flame Puppet Bear (Rating: Rare Pearl Level).
"How about giving you a name, Albert?"
The stuffed bear sat on the ground, looking at the girl in front of him, nodding blankly. Even after becoming a spirit, he had not completely forgotten the past. In his memory, it was probably this girl and another icy one. Although they were small, their blows were very painful. Now that he was defeated, he could only be a quiet younger brother to live a good life.
In fact, apart from not paying them wages, these two girls are very nice. They help with drying and weeding in the flower sea, and they help with alchemy here. Occasionally, they can go out with Luo Lanxier to see the scenery. They are really very good bosses.
The day of returning home was approaching, and I wondered what the second half of the semester would bring. The girl, holding her stuffed doll, walked out of the cabin and sat on the steps, leaning against the doorframe. She looked out at the crimson sea of flowers under the setting sun, reflecting on the rich experiences of the past year. Time had flown by so quickly...
--------------
Black Rock Duchy, Witz County.
Outside the castle in the mountains are tall evergreen pine trees. Due to its location in the north and high altitude, some small snowflakes have accumulated on the tops of the pine trees.
The winding gravel road bypasses the lake at the foot of the mountain and circles to the mountainside. After crossing the suspended wooden suspension bridge, there is an ancient castle.
The castle is built entirely of white bluish stone bricks. The interior is a bit dark and poorly lit. It becomes quite cold in winter, and resin torches have to be lit from time to time for lighting and heating.
On the third floor of the castle, several sturdy men in straw raincoats and steel armor sat around a thick wooden table. Judging by the snow in their hair and on their shoulders, they must have arrived recently. Beneath the wooden table, several braziers filled with charcoal burned quietly, dispelling the surrounding chill.
"I think everyone has heard about what happened recently." A man with short black hair at the top spoke.
"Well, this is what everyone is here for today." said a bald man with a scar on his face, followed by several others.
