On the battlefield drenched in artillery fire, Isaiah stood on a high platform and looked at the battle ahead. However, this behavior led to another assassination attack. A cavalry unit of the Chaotic Middle East Empire rushed into the military camp and headed straight for the position of the general. Everything happened in a flash, causing chaos in the military camp and the sound of fighting everywhere.
After being helped by several guards to hide in a safe corner, Isaiah breathed a sigh of relief, but the good times did not last long. Soon, the sounds of several blades piercing flesh were heard from behind him, and several red-clothed assassins approached the general again.
"Stop them!" the guard shouted, raised the small musket in his hand and fired continuously, while his men surrounded Isaiah with shields.
During the battle, several guards fell one after another, and the remaining three red-clad assassins were only a few steps away from Isaiah.
Faced with a perilous situation with no way out, Isaiah no longer hesitated. He drew the longsword from his waist, gripped it tightly, and began to focus on the situation. With his Sequence 6 strength, as long as he was vigilant, he wouldn't be easily killed.
"Bang—clang—" There were several more gunshots and knife sounds, and two guards and an assassin fell in a pool of blood.
Finally, with the swing of swords, the remaining guards and assassins fell one after another.
"Huh, are you alive?" Isaiah breathed slowly while holding the sword. He looked at the guards who were still groaning and howling beside him, and turned his eyes nervously, listening to the sounds.
Suddenly, another sharp dagger stabbed out from behind him and pierced his chest, but with a ding-ling sound, a golden shield expanded and temporarily blocked the attack.
Isaiah took a few steps to get a chance, then looked at the black figure that suddenly appeared behind him.
"Who is it?" He pulled out the gun with his left hand and fired several times, but the bullets were easily cut by the other party.
Finding that his shooting was ineffective, Isaiah quickly retreated and shouted loudly, and many nearby soldiers immediately rushed over.
Seeing that today's assassination was about to fail again, Rock did not stop and continued to move forward, but was blocked by the opponent's golden shield on the side.
A few seconds passed in a flash, and the soldiers who rushed in soon protected Isaiah again, while Rock was also surrounded by layers of guards.
After making sure he was safe, Isaiah breathed a sigh of relief and looked at the masked assassin in the field, but soon his face began to change color.
"It's you, Rock." Even though he hadn't seen her for more than ten years, he still recognized her from those eyes.
The two sides in the field stopped temporarily. The soldiers looked at the powerful assassin nervously and silently, while the other side also silently looked at Isaiah who was protected by the crowd.
"It's me." Rock no longer concealed it.
"Why are you here? Wait, I think I understand." Isaiah is always so smart and thinks of a lot of things in an instant.
"I didn't expect it to be you, Rock." He was impressed by the other party's boldness.
"Not dying at your hands means I've won another round, isn't it? We haven't seen each other for years, and I didn't expect to meet again at a time like this."
"Why did you get involved in this? I remember when you were a kid, you didn't yearn for a scene like this."
"Have you forgotten what you said before, that you want to become a world-renowned, uh, hero?" He was originally going to say the word assassin.
"You will make your uncle sad if you do this."
Then, the general seemed to open up and asked about various things tirelessly.
"You're annoying."
Finally, the silent assassin could no longer bear it, and the man opposite him showed a smile of success on his face.
