"Grand Commander Odysseus, he's here."
Murmurs rose from the crowd, expressing surprise at the arrival of the Holy Lance Knights' leader. While the situation was somewhat chaotic, it wasn't a major event. The Ten Swords Palace would mobilize personnel to disperse the rioting priests and then, through conversations with each member, gradually resolve the situation.
But now that the Grand Commander has appeared in person, the nature of the matter has become official, and it will not be so easy to suppress it.
"Why are you making such a commotion here and disturbing the order of the Holy Mountain?"
Captain Odysseus had a serious expression on his face, and his sharp eyes swept slowly across. The people present did not dare to look him in the eye and lowered their heads.
The scene suddenly fell into silence. After a long while, a pastor explained in a slightly trembling voice.
"We have suffered injustice, and we want an explanation and fairness." He looked at the lion-like man nervously.
"What injustice has been done to you?" Odysseus' voice was as calm as a mountain.
"We have been doing this for years..." He then began to explain slowly, and some of his companions around him also gradually started to speak and help add to his explanation.
The general meaning is that a group of pastors who had similar achievements in the past, because they were assigned to different churches and regions, have seen a significant gap in status and treatment over the years. They have worked harder and made greater contributions, but have not received corresponding respect and rewards. Instead, they have been mocked and looked down upon by pastors in wealthy regions.
"Why should this happen? We dedicate ourselves to the Church in the most difficult places, fulfilling our responsibilities for the peace of this world, yet we have to endure such humiliation!"
"Mud pastor, coal-black pastor, country boy, shabby guy, etc. These are the titles they give us. No matter how long we work or how much we pay, we will never get the chance to be promoted." As the group talked, they recalled the hardships of these years. Some even shed tears, which made the many onlookers around them sad and moved.
"The church has seen your efforts and hardships and will always remember them." Odysseus' tone softened a little at this time.
"But your actions are ultimately bad. If everyone does this, where will order be? Distributing people based on noise is absolutely not an option."
"You guys should go back for now. I believe that the Ten Swords Palace and the church will give you an explanation for this matter."
The tenderness shown by the man who had been so strict in the past immediately moved the group of priests. They admitted their mistakes one after another and said that they should not have held such an excessive parade that would have disrupted the order and peace in the holy mountain.
Finally, under the arrangement of this group of Holy Lance Knights, they returned to the guest house outside the Holy Flame Palace to rest. This was the residence of the branch church when they came to the headquarters.
After watching the group disperse and disappear into the night, several guards from the Ten Swords Palace frowned slightly. Today's incident was truly sudden. They had just received the news and rushed over, and they had not expected things to develop like this.
"What should we do, Captain?" asked a guard nearby.
"Let's report to Lord Sibis first. This matter doesn't seem simple." The golden-armored guard put away his weapon and led his men to walk quickly towards the Ten Swords Palace.

After the incident on the other side of the mountain ended, the crowd dispersed and gradually returned to silence. In the restaurant under the Holy Flame Palace, seven students from Emenes were also enjoying their dinner.
Compared to other palaces, the restaurant here seems to have more meat, which greatly satisfies the students' recent bland tastes.
"Come on, have another drink." Several boys were a little drunk, their faces flushed and their necks thick.
"Dry!"
Despite the completely different languages and cultures, the scenes at the wine table were always so similar. Loran Hill looked at the crowd before him, shook his head slightly, and then turned his gaze to the small wine glass at hand. There was a light red fruit wine in it, seemingly made from a type of red plum grown on the Holy Mountain. It was not strong in alcohol and had a sweet and sour taste.
She rarely drinks, but since this was a rare gathering, she didn't want to be too different, so she ordered a glass of fruit wine.
"Luo Xier, Bo Li, come, let's have a drink too."
Jelica held up a large wine glass and tried to clink glasses with the two people beside her. She seemed to be a good drinker, as if she had been drinking regularly before.
"I can only drink a little, otherwise I will feel dizzy." Boli looked at the remaining liquid in her cup with a little fear. It seemed that it was something extremely unpalatable and bitter.
"Okay, okay, I won't make things difficult for you. As for Luo Xier, how can you drink? If you can't, there's no need to force yourself." Jelica turned around and looked at the silver-haired girl who was holding the wine glass in a daze.
"It's nothing, this is still okay." There was a hint of smile in the girl's voice, and then several girls clinked their cups again before slowly drinking the liquid in them.
Compared with the higher-proof liquor, most of the liquors on the Western Continent have a lower proof, and there are not many businesses that use distillation brewing technology. However, alchemists often use distillation to extract some substances.
The seven of them ate and chatted until the night grew darker.
"It's getting late, let's end the party here today." After finishing the dishes on the table, everyone had almost finished drinking, so it was time to say goodbye.
"I'll go back with Roxelle and Boli. You boys should take care of each other." Jelica said first. She didn't want to help these drunk boys, nor did she want her two friends to help them.
"Okay then, be careful on the road."
Heisen nodded to the three of them, then, carrying one person on each shoulder, he slowly walked out of the restaurant, like a rare strongman. The others supported each other's hands and walked out of the restaurant slowly.
