Maple Leaf Garden, morning.
During a rare break, in the maple cabin, Loran Hill remained in bed. The clean, comfortable blanket seemed to hold a special magic that made the witch unwilling to get up. Instead, she rolled over, pulled the blanket tighter, and continued to sleep.
On the other side of the room, Ye Ling was also sleeping in a bad posture, rubbing the quilt and making soft breathing sounds.
If no one wakes her up, this little dragon lady will usually sleep until noon before waking up.
After a brief hesitation in bed, Loran Hill decided not to call Ye Ling. Everyone just wanted to get some more sleep anyway, so why bother taking it so seriously? As she thought this, she lifted the slightly itchy hair on the side of her face and fell into a comfortable dream again.
Time slowly passed and it was noon. The sound of cicadas could be heard outside the window. The sound was sometimes long and sometimes short, expressing the joy of summer.
Finally, Ye Ling, who had had a good sleep, was awakened by the chirping of cicadas. He rubbed his eyes, sat up from the bed, and was stunned for a while, looking at the unfamiliar maple ceiling and the round and small furniture beside it. It took him a while to realize that this was Loran Hill's home.
She stretched herself, then got out of bed in her slippers. Looking at Loran Hill who was still sleeping in another bed, she ran over curiously.
This was the first time she saw Loran Hill sleeping. Before, she always slept in Loran's arms.
Loran Hill slept, her head resting on a soft pillow, a thin blanket covering her body, roughly outlining her figure. Her long, smooth silver hair draped across the blanket and pillow, some falling onto her neck, contrasting beautifully with her snow-white skin. One hand poked slightly from the blanket, revealing slender, curved fingers. The nails were a pale pink, unpainted.
Seeing Luo Lan still asleep, Ye Ling leaned over and touched her cheek with her fingers, wanting to wake her up, but feeling reluctant. It was rare to see Luo Lan sleeping in, so she decided to forget it.
After hesitating for a few seconds, she simply stood up, quietly opened the door, and walked out of the room.
Once outside the cabin, the intense sunlight shone on the ground, reflecting a dazzling white light that made one squint. Ye Ling shielded her forehead with her hand, walked down the wooden steps, and stepped lightly on the white-textured flagstones.
Where should she go to have fun? She is not very familiar with this place.
After glancing around, Ye Ling prepared to go to the river to take a look. Luo Lan said that the river was good for fishing.
However, after walking a few steps on the path between the stone slabs, she realized something was wrong. Looking at the slippers on her feet and the pajamas on her body, Ye Ling decided to change into a more comfortable set of clothes first.
After sneaking back into the room again and changing into light shoes, shorts and short-sleeved shirts, Ye Ling picked up a wide-brimmed hat he bought in Solander and put it on his head before walking out the door.
Chirp~
Looking at the furtive figure below, the Goldcrest, squatting in its nest under the eaves, chirped in doubt. It flexed its wings, glanced at the Murrell Crow, still sleeping with its eyes closed, and decided to follow it out to see what was happening.
The goldcrest is a diurnal bird, unlike its brother next to it, which is a lone ranger at night.
Lifting up on its toes, the Daiju shook its fluffy feathers, cleared its throat, and chirped twice, not in a very majestic way.
Then he jumped off the wooden bird's nest, spread his wings, let the gentle wind lift his wings, and easily followed the dragon girl who was running away in front of him.
The mana here is very rich and comfortable.
Flying in the air, Dai Ju felt warm and comfortable under the sun. There was also plenty of mana in the forest for her to practice. It seemed like a very suitable place to settle down.
But if its owner hadn't brought it here, it probably wouldn't have discovered this place. Dai Ju occasionally turned her head to look at the huge red maple tree not far away.
Although it is a tree, it is really too strong. If an ordinary monster encounters such a powerful existence, it will generally take a detour, after all, it cannot defeat it.
However, if it is a companion, then it would be the happiest thing. Having this big guy guarding the home is really a happy thing for the bird.
Dai Ju's small head was full of random thoughts. Occasionally, she flapped her wings, passing over the branches in the forest, and glided to catch up with the night spirit in front of her that was leaping and hopping on the path.
Turning a corner hidden by layers of leaves, Dai Ju sensed the sound of flowing water, and then saw Ye Ling disappear behind a wooded hillside.
Tilting its wings and adjusting the wind direction, Dai Ju skillfully avoided the branches of the tree, lowered its altitude, passed through the area, then lifted its feet and gently landed on the branches behind the corner.
In front of me is a quiet river valley. The maple trees on both sides block the scorching sun in the sky, making it seem a little cool. Fallen leaves are scattered on the hillsides and stones on both sides, and there is a small river several meters wide flowing in the middle.
The river water is very clear and you can see the numerous goose-warm stones below. A few black fish are swimming in the river, sometimes moving and sometimes staying still, making them difficult to spot.
As a crowned bird, it did not eat fish before. Catching fish is too difficult for a small bird like it, and usually only large birds like hawks and falcons can do it.
However, extraordinary animals are just like extraordinary humans. They can always do things that they could not do before. Now it is very easy to let them catch fish.
Standing on the tree branch, Dai Ju stretched her feet, found a comfortable spot, and then squatted down again, looking at the night spirit below. It was not hungry yet and did not want to catch fish.
Watching the little dragon girl come to the river and sit on a rock, she first tested the water temperature with her hand before taking off her shoes and putting her feet in, splashing water in the stream. Dai Ju felt that humans were really weird. They could obviously only turn into a super powerful fire dragon, but now they were afraid of this little water flow. At first, she wondered if Ye Ling would turn into a giant dragon and drink up the river along with all the water and fish.
