Chapter 889 Dinner in the Castle

Looking at the girl in the mirror, Loran Hill felt as if he saw another self, a feeling of both flawlessness and enchantment.

It's still too flashy, I should change to something more ordinary, she thought, and prepared to look for it again.

"I'm back." Lottie pushed the door open with a little joy, and then was shocked by Loran Hill in the room.

"Is this...Sister Messia?" she said hesitantly.

The way Loran Hill dressed today was so different from her previous image of a swordsman girl that it was a little hard for her to believe.

"I think so." Loran Hill pressed his finger lightly on his chin and answered thoughtfully.

"What do you mean it should be? Sister Messiah, you lied to me so hard." After getting to know Loran Hill over the years, Lottie also started to act coquettishly.

She walked slowly up to the girl's side, looked her over carefully, and circled around her.

"So beautiful, I think she's even prettier than Sister Yvetina." She said a name inadvertently, and then helped Loran Hill tidy up her hair a little.

"It would be even better if you wore a pearl pendant." Lottie looked at the girl's empty earlobes and always wanted to hang something on them.

"No, I don't want to pierce my ears." Loran Hill shook his head to refuse.

"Is that so? It does seem like some classical aristocratic traditions." Lottie stood behind the girl, guessing Messia's identity in her mind.

"Did Sister Messia really grow up alone in a forest village? It doesn't seem like it." Lottie felt that as the daughter of a duke, she couldn't be as flawless as Loran Hill in some aspects. Whether it was etiquette, knowledge, swordsmanship, or insights, she was much better.

Perhaps it was because she was still a minor and not mature and strong enough in many aspects. If her brothers were still alive, she would definitely introduce Miss Messia to them.

Unfortunately, she is the only one left now, even her sister Yvetina, whom she admired the most in the past, is gone.

Shaking her head and not thinking about it for the time being, Lottie asked Roland Hill the purpose of dressing up tonight.

"So you're going to a party?"

Lottie thought about things that she had no interest in in the past. Among her brothers and sisters, she was the youngest and had not even attended a few banquets. As a result, many people outside the family did not know of her existence. This was also the reason why she was able to escape during the war.

"Sister Messia, you seldom come to the empire before. Do you want me to tell you some etiquette of the imperial court?" Lottie thought that this was all she could do.

"Yes, thank you, Lottie." The girl nodded. She had learned some elven etiquette from Atesi before, but she didn't have a deep understanding of things related to the imperial court.

"Then I'll explain it in detail. Actually, a lot of it was taught to me by the head maid in my house. Later, my sisters also helped correct some of it." After Lottie finished speaking, she began to demonstrate one by one in front of the girl.

It included steps, manners, greetings, how to respond, how to refuse, details related to diet, etc. Originally, Loran Hill thought it would not be too long, but Lottie spoke for more than an hour before it was finally finished.

"I don't know how much Sister Messia remembers. In fact, you don't have to care too much about some of the small details. Many nobles don't do it well." After finishing speaking, Lottie realized that she had said too much and too diversely, and probably others would not be able to remember it at all.

"Well, I roughly understand it." For Loran Hill, he could basically remember it after just one demonstration.

"Really?"

"It should work." Loran Hill said, standing up and demonstrating.

Looking at the perfect young lady in the red and black dress, Lottie was in a trance for a moment, as if she remembered that familiar figure again.

Sister Yvetina.

"How is it? Is there any problem?" Loran Hill asked after it was over.

"No, Sister Messia is very strong." Lottie nodded.

The two continued talking for a while, and it was getting dark.

"I'm here, Messiah, are you ready?" Miss Charlene changed into an emerald dress and knocked on the door gently.

"Okay." Then the door opened and Miss Charlene had the same expression as Lottie.

"I finally understand why you don't need me to prepare clothes for you." After a long time, Miss Charlene woke up from her shock.

"It seems that tonight's banquet will not be deserted. I wonder how many young talents will be fascinated by Messia."

After saying that, she took Messia's hand and walked downstairs. Amid the surprised and stunned gazes of the other members, the two gradually boarded the carriage and slowly drove towards the castle in the night.

Compared with the cold gray rock castle during the day, this castle looks much softer at night with the orange and yellow lights embellishing it.

Carriages of all sizes were parked in the open space inside the castle. Guests entered the hall one by one after being announced by servants, and then joined the banquet accompanied by music.

Viscount Mo Ruo is not a great nobleman, but the band in his family is rare among the nobles in the vicinity. This is probably closely related to Viscount Mo Ruo's own love of music.

"Ms. Charlene and Miss Messiah are here~" When their carriage stopped in front of the castle, several familiar waiters shouted loudly.

The first person to step out of the carriage was Miss Charlene, and then a completely unknown figure slowly stepped out of the carriage.

With skin that was extremely white even in the dark night, a pair of eyes as clear as the sky, and a strapless dress with red and black as the main colors, a strange and beautiful young lady stood in front of the castle gate.

"Well...excuse me...could you..." For a moment, the waiter who used to be skilled in speaking became a little nervous.
