Chapter 910: Violent as Fire

Longjiao Province, George Town.

In the early morning snow and fog, there was the sound of fighting. The gates that were once closed had long been opened, and countless warriors with foxtail grass tied to their arms were fighting in the city. And they were fighting against the private soldiers of the local nobles.

Red-bearded Pennisetum is an extremely common weed in the wild. It is cold-resistant and heat-resistant, drought-resistant and moisture-resistant, not afraid of pests, and resists lodging. It is the most humble and tenacious weed, and can be crushed and trampled by livestock and wheels.

And now, with these wild grasses as rings and their arms bound, the warriors have started a rebellion.

"Who are you working for!" roared the warrior holding the axe. The red paint on his face made him look powerful and terrifying.

"Is it because of those nobles who took away everyone's food and abused your wife and children?" The heavy axe hit the shield, splashing debris from the missile, which made people feel pain.

"Why should you listen to them? Don't you want to live for yourself?" The heavy axe chopped down in the air again, breaking off the protruding gun head, and the sound of metal collision could be heard from time to time in the street.

Faced with these noble private soldiers who were forming a formation to resist on the streets, a burst of flying axes came down, chopped into the iron-covered helmets, and took away the silent resisting figures one by one.

"Idiots! Bitch! You black pigs from the mountains!" The captain of the guards laughed in anger.

"What the hell are you talking about in your sleep?"

"The Viscount gave me money, which allowed me to support my family and live a comfortable life. Only good-for-nothing pigs like you are unwanted. Do you understand?!"

"Shoot!" The crossbow behind him flicked, and powerful crossbows shot out arrows, which penetrated into the bodies of the unarmored soldiers in front, and they fell down like hedgehogs.

"Ahhh!" Looking at their dead comrades, the soldiers behind them also had red eyes. They raised the makeshift wooden shields, frantically fanning away the oncoming arrows, and charged forward quickly.

The opportunity was fleeting. Before the crossbowmen behind could reload, these bare-armed warriors jumped forward with roars, and chopped down the heavy axes in the faces of the guards, making a cracked dent in the head, and the guards fell down unwillingly.

"Shit!" The captain of the guards wearing a round steel helmet cursed and drew the steel sword from his waist. The sword tip left a pale afterimage in the air and directly cut off the head of the oncoming soldier.

The splattered blood splashed on the guards on the battlefield. The warm blood melted the frost on the armor, flowed down the shoulders and body, and dyed the lining of the mail armor red.

"Zhuo En!"

In the chaotic street, a sturdy man jumped down from the roof next to him. The hammer he swung knocked down the guards below like pumpkins. He roared and rushed towards the captain of the guards, shouting his name.

"House." The captain looked straight at the man in front of him, his voice gritting his teeth.

"You are the one who made weapons for them, you idiot!" As he spoke, the sharp sword blade suddenly stabbed out.

The hammer and the sword crossed each other, and in a flash, the warrior's fur shirt was torn apart, and a narrow hole was torn in his chest, and even the bones could be vaguely seen.

Seeing that the opponent was still trying to struggle, the captain of the guard swept his sword across. With the blessing of his extraordinary job, the blade directly cut through the hard hammer handle and took away the opponent's weapon.

Then there was the sound of breaking bones. The captain rushed forward and kicked House in the knee, forcing him to kneel down unwillingly.

"Do you think this is still like our childhood? Brother House." His tone was filled with anger and sarcasm. He looked at the big brother next door whom he admired as a child and kicked him again, breaking the other knee bone and causing him to sit paralyzed on the ground.

"Of course I know! You're such a lucky bastard." House supported himself on the ground, his voice hoarse. He grabbed a broken gun tip and stabbed it into the opponent's thigh, causing blood to flow out.

Feeling the pain, Zhuo En frowned, pressed the opponent's head with one hand, and stabbed back with the sword in the other hand, piercing the opponent's body directly from the back.

At this point, House, who was kneeling on the ground, knew that he didn't have much time left. He ignored the long sword stuck in his body, hugged the nearby enemy with both hands, roared and fell forward, causing Zhuo En's back to hit the ground heavily. Then he grabbed the opponent's throat with both hands and rushed up.

Amid the subtle sound of bones breaking, thick blood foam overflowed from the captain's mouth, and the guards behind him finally arrived. Amid shouts, they stabbed the strong man riding on Zhuo En's back with long spears, piercing him like a hedgehog.

Then, the spear was pulled from his body, blood flowed like a fountain, and the incredibly strong warrior slowly fell to the ground, no longer breathing. His hand loosened slightly, and the captain beneath him also struggled to cough up blood and suffocate.

"Why...why..." The blood blocked his throat and filled his lungs, causing him great pain. He looked at the familiar figure in front of him.

Isn't it better to live an honest life? Why do you do something so dangerous? You know, when I was little, you were my idol.

Zhuo En struggled and twisted on the ground, then his consciousness gradually became blurred. In a trance, he saw the scenes of his childhood again.

At that time, he and his friends were running in the fields behind House.

"Brother House, can you please make me an iron ring? Hanno next door has one and he rolls it around in front of his house every day. I'm so envious."

"No problem, little Zhuo En, look at your big brother House making the best for you, making everyone envious, haha."

In the field with swaying grass, several children shouted excitedly. They chased dragonflies in the sunset and forgot the time to go home.

There's no going back.
