Lottie sat aside, quietly listening to Roland Hill talk about the past and his views on life. Unconsciously, she began to reflect on her own heart.
She slowly closed her eyes and recalled the past in her mind again. The breeze blew across her body, and a sense of peace and comfort gradually surged into her heart.
After a long time, she opened her eyes again, and the world seemed much clearer.
"Have you thought about it?"
"Um."
"I'd like to borrow Miss Messia's sword to support myself as an adventurer, but it will probably take some time to return it to you."
"During this period, I will try my best to survive." Lottie looked at the swordsman girl beside her. Her expression was much calmer. Although her face was still childish, at least she was no longer immersed in confusion and fragility.
Although she didn't know what the girl had figured out, Loran Hill didn't care. She just didn't want to see her stay in a lonely corner. She had experienced the pain and torture of self-deception before.
Looking at the girl walking out of the shadows, Loran Hill felt a lot more relieved.
It feels good to do good things occasionally. So why do I like doing good things?
Perhaps it is also the hope that one day in the future when one encounters insurmountable obstacles and sorrows, one can get help and comfort from others.
Because I am so weak and unconfident, I always think about having more strength and trump cards, always think about how to do the right thing and not offend others, and always want to be kind, because then no one will blame me.
