Walled City Academy, Black Swan Castle.
Knock knock knock, there’s a knock on the door.
"Come in."
It was still the same quiet office, but with the warmer weather, the fireplace had no flames, leaving only the black burn marks on the inner stone walls. Inside, there were reddish-brown desks, carved wooden cabinets, black porcelain cups, dusty books, scattered copper pens, and the marble floor bore numerous scratches from wear and tear.
Jenna walked in with a bit of trepidation, only to find her usual teacher there. It was only natural, as she had chosen this time, right after class, to avoid the awkwardness of missing her teacher and having to come a second time.
"Hello, Mr. Rayleigh."
The teacher who was writing at the desk looked up, saw the short-haired girl, and nodded. "Yes, it's Jenna."
"Have you finished copying what I told you to do last time?"
"Well, I'm done."
Jenna handed over a thick stack of papers, the edges of which were bound with thread. Including the original version, there were exactly four volumes.
The well-dressed teacher took it and opened it to check. The handwriting was very neat and beautiful, and it was obvious that the girl had put a lot of effort into it.
"Very good, very good." He nodded, with a very satisfied expression on his face, then took out the original version including 2 volumes, placed them on the table, and then asked the girl to sit on the wooden chair beside him.
"How do you feel about reviewing the knowledge learned this semester?"
"Yeah, it's much clearer now. Some of the things I didn't understand before now I roughly understand." Jenna recalled and then answered.
"That's good. If there's anything you don't understand, you can come to the office on Tuesday or Thursday afternoons to ask me. I'll be free during this time."
"Okay, thank you, teacher." Jenna nodded gratefully.
"It's okay, and there's no need to be shy. Don't feel like your questions are too naive or simple. Sometimes, you might need to think about something for days, but if you ask a teacher, you can solve it in minutes. It's not that I'm more talented than you, that's not necessarily the case. But as a teacher, I've seen countless similar questions and faced thousands of students, including those dealing with training, combat, learning, and even psychological issues. I've experienced many examples, so I have more comprehensive experience and am more likely to notice and identify the causes."
"So, on this point, if you are too shy, you will end up being the one who suffers."
"Yeah." Jenna blinked her moist eyes and nodded again.
"Okay, that's all for today. Have a good rest. You can keep this other book for yourself."
"Yes." Jenna lowered her head, took it, and then walked out of the office in small steps.
After the silence returned, another teacher in the office came over. He flipped open the booklet that Jenna had copied and looked at it on the table. Then he said, "What a good child."
"Yes, it's a pity that God didn't give her the corresponding good talents."
Even practicing Transcendent Sequences has its own innate abilities. Some people simply grasp them faster and find them easier to cultivate. This kind of thing is always a mystery, with no way to test it. Often, only through personal experience can one truly understand. That's why first-year students aren't divided into houses, allowing everyone to explore as much as possible. Unfortunately, today's students don't consider things the way the sages did back then. To qualify for admission and get a head start, many have already advanced deeply in a particular Sequence before enrolling. If it weren't for school requirements, some students wouldn't be able to reach Sequence 5 before enrolling until they're completely certain of their Sequence.

After leaving the office, Jenna held the book, ignored the curious looks of others, lowered her head and walked quickly through the corridor, preparing to return to her residence.
"Hey, is that Jena?"
A voice suddenly sounded beside her, scaring Jenna, who was walking with her head down, so much that she almost jumped up.
"It's you..." Jenna looked up to the left and saw a girl in a red and black uniform waving at her. This was her former first-year classmate, but she was not very familiar with her. She didn't expect that she also entered the Walled City Academy.
"Long time no see, how are you doing lately?"
The slightly stout girl came over and the two of them had a brief conversation.
"It's not good to stand like this. Let's go sit on the balcony over there." The girl pulled Jenna across the corridor to the other side.
......
"Hey, you've been having trouble studying lately, haven't you?" the girl said.
"Actually, me too."
......
"It's really annoying. Those children born into aristocrats have had tutors since childhood, so it's natural that their foundation is better than ours."
"However, as long as I put in more effort and slowly catch up with these theoretical knowledge, it's not a problem. What I'm most worried about is the difficulty of advancing to the Extraordinary Sequence."
"You know, many students can't graduate because their abilities have been stuck for years, making it difficult to improve. That's why they have to leave Emenas."
Hearing this, Jenna, considering her own situation, also felt a little anxious. "Yeah, but unfortunately, I don't know what to do either. Sigh..."
She sighed, leaned her arms on the stone wall at the edge of the castle, rested her chin on her arms, looked at the lake and forest in the distance, and the sadness in her heart gradually rose.
"But there is a solution." The classmate standing beside him said in a low voice.
"What method?" Jenna turned her head with a little curiosity.
"I don't know the details, but my roommate recently joined a club in the academy. I heard that the club's president teaches magical methods that can significantly improve one's strength."
