Extra: The Witch's Tea Party in the Golden Country (Part 3)

Quiet basement bathroom.

The lights shone in the hazy mist, and a sparse sound of flowing water kept coming from the mist. The water rippled from time to time, and occasionally there was a slight sound of splashing water.

Two beautiful figures are quietly immersed in the water, their long hair floating and swaying in the warm water. One of them has light blue hair, while the other's hair is like ink and silk, each with its own charm.

“Wow—”

A burst of water droplets fell, and then one of them stood up. Her long and round legs made people sigh at her good figure. Then she picked up the bath towel beside her and wrapped her body.

"I'll get something to drink. Does Caihua need it?" She walked out of the bathtub and asked the woman who was still resting with her eyes closed.

"I don't want to drink anything stimulating. A simple glass of water will do." Her voice was soft and mellow, like an orchid in a valley.

"You are still the same as before." As she said this, she shook her hair gently, and water droplets fell. Then the light blue hair quickly returned to a relatively dry state, as if it had been carefully blow-dried, but not too dry.

If she walked out of the room and met other witches, many people would surely recognize the famous Sea Witch, Phoebe. However, today she didn't really want to see anyone.

"I don't really want to reminisce about the past. I've lived too long. I thought I could sleep peacefully forever, but I don't want to see those old faces again." She said this jokingly to Caihua before entering the bathtub.

As Phoebe went to get a drink, the basement bathroom fell silent again.

Caihua, the Phoenix Witch, once a legend in the East Continent, did not go to see her descendants who were looking for her, especially the five witches she raised.

She stretched out her hand and lifted it from the water, looking at the clear water in her palm, in which the lights above her head were reflected, broken and shaking.

Then she slowly closed her eyes and poured the water in her hands back into the bathtub.

Unbelievable, she thought silently in her heart.

Although the last period of her life was very painful, she actually didn't have too many regrets. Just like Phoebe, she had gone through too much time and had long been accustomed to separation from life and death.

If witches were ranked by generation, she was probably of the same generation as Atatis, except that one was in the East and the other in the West. Going further up, perhaps only the Blood Moon Witch Julie was older than them, but she had never seen that special witch.

Gently leaning her head against the edge of the bathtub, this enchantress with oriental tranquility looked at the swaying waves in front of her and the black hair floating in them, thoughts slowly surging in her mind.

Everything in the past, the changes today, and the slight emptiness and confusion after resurrection.

She was not the kind of person who was fragile and had difficulty adapting to changes, but she just didn't know what to do for a moment.

Today, human civilization has developed unprecedentedly and no longer needs her. She also doesn't want to repeat the past days. As Phoebe said, she is a little tired of it.

Forget it, just let it go. It’s not necessary to find a target.

After thinking for a while, she closed her eyes and raised her head again. At this time, the familiar figure on the other side of the mist also came back.

"I asked the witch who was looking for spring water to get a glass of clear mountain spring water. I think this should be what you like." Phoebe walked out of the mist and placed the tray next to the bathtub. She herself held a glass of light purple fruit wine soaked in ice cubes with a straw inserted in it.

"Wow, there are more varieties of wine and juice now. I'm really looking forward to it~" It can be seen that Phoebe is in a very good mood at the moment.

Compared to Vimiya, this previous generation of Sea Witch was quite lively and cheerful when she was young. It was only because of many sad things in her later years that her personality gradually changed. Now after being resurrected, she quickly regained the lightness of her early years.

"Don't you want to go out and take a look? Many younger generations in the east are looking for you." After drinking for a while, Phoebe raised the glass high and watched the light penetrate the liquid and ice in it. It shook slightly and made a crisp clinking sound.

"Let's go again after a while." Caihua buried her head in the water, and then swam underwater for a while, like a black butterfly.

"Suqin has matured a lot. Xiaoxuan has many companions around her, so I don't have to worry about her. Honghu and I have a personality very similar. She will find opportunities to rest and escape from the world. Only Luan and Qiongju are a little worried." After a short while, she resurfaced.

"They both left too early. I didn't expect that they would follow in my footsteps not long after I passed away." Caihua stroked her hair with her hands, letting the water droplets slide through her fingers. After the dripping stopped, she picked up the clear water that Phoebe had brought beside her and drank it in small sips.

"The cuckoo might have been too stubborn and persistent, and didn't escape in time, but Qingluan..." Caihua shook her head again.

"You're still acting on impulse." Caihua sighed.

"Don't be so harsh on these younger generations. They are not like the witches of our generation. Qingluan has been raised by you since she was a child. In her mind, you are like a mother or a sister. The depth of our affection for you is incomparable to that of the other little ones."

"Before going to the Yellow Sea, the 鹑鶑 had a difficult time. The 鹑鶑, also known as Dorothy, hid from the orcs all over the Western Continent and followed Selene all the way to the East. She went through a lot back then, so she's very resilient."

"So these two little ones at the bottom of the list are actually more resilient. As for Qingluan, the eldest sister, she has followed you since she was a child and has always been respected and treated with reverence by others. If you let her get along with ordinary people when she grows up, it will be difficult for her to change this personality." Phoebe commented.

"Proud, innocent, inflexible, and at the same time unkind." Caihua slowly drank the water and then put the cup back next to the bathtub.
