Chapter 853: Tears of the Phantom Witch

After spending more than half a month in the forest, time slowly entered the second half of July.

In August, Loran Hill was going to Emenas. Before that, she wanted to ask Titus some questions, so she took out the pendant that Titus had left her.

Today, she, Yi Xue, Ye Ling and Dai Ju were the only ones in the maple forest who went exploring. They would probably not be back for 2-3 days.

Standing in the courtyard illuminated by the setting sun at dusk, Loran Hill took out the pendant and let it float in front of him, then slowly recited the agreed spell. On the grass blown by the breeze, a circular magic circle with distinct internal textures began to slowly take shape.

The pendant gradually floated to the center of the magic circle. With the help of the magic circle, a light purple light began to appear on it. Then a breeze began to blow, swirling around the pendant. An invisible ripple spread from the pendant and spread to the unknown distance.

The silver-haired girl standing beside the magic circle still had her eyes closed and was chanting softly. Her dress swayed in the breeze, and her sleeves were rolled up, revealing a little bit of her slender wrists.

This happened again and again, until after about seven times, Loran Hill gradually stopped the magic circle.

The pendant contains the faint power left by Titus. If it were her, she should be able to sense this faint fluctuation.

Slowly opening her eyes, the girl looked at the sun setting in the distance, and estimated that even if Titus sensed it, it would take some time for her to come over. She wondered if she should prepare some snacks to entertain this witch senior.

She turned around, opened the wooden door, and was about to go back to the house to tidy up when a familiar voice suddenly sounded behind her.

"Are you looking for me, little Loran?" A witch with blonde hair and silver eyes, wearing a black dress, slowly floated down from the sky.

"Senior Tidaisi." Loran Hill turned his head slightly in surprise. Could this witch have arrived so quickly?

"Just call me sister. Calling me senior always sounds a bit old." Tidaisi lifted the hair on the side of her face and looked at the silver-haired girl.

"I haven't seen you for a few years. Little Roland seems to have matured a lot." She walked into the door next to Roland Hill in advance, took a quick look, and then sat down slowly on the sofa.

"But seeing that you are still alive, I feel relieved. This time you suddenly called me, and I thought you encountered some emergency, so I used some special means to rush here." As a witch who has lived for a long time, she possesses quite a few methods.

"I'm sorry for making Sister Tidaisi worry." Loran Hill brought two glasses of juice and placed them in front of Tidaisi.

While drinking the juice, Loran Hill also secretly looked at the still unchanged Phantom Witch. For some reason, this witch seemed to be more stable than before, or she was less likely to tease her and tell jokes.

"You're so sensitive, Loran. You noticed something was wrong with me so quickly." The girl was observing Titus and was instantly seen through by her. After all, this person had so much experience.

"Unfortunately, I won't tell you the reason." She shook her head slightly, a hint of teasing flashing in her silver eyes.

"Okay." Loran Hill had no choice but to lower his head and stir gently with his hands.

"This time when I returned to the Western Continent, I received an invitation from the Sages' Association. They wanted me to go to Emenas. It seemed like they had something to discuss with me."

"Go ahead." After listening to this, Tidaisi made her choice directly.

"I know that you may not know much about the Sage Society and may be wary and uneasy," she continued.

"But actually the Sages' Society is not in the situation you expected." She shook her head again.

"Who do you think those great sages are?"

"They are the most powerful beings among humans, elves, and other races. Most of them have lived for a long time and have their own thoughts and wills."

"People like this won't be easily deceived or follow orders from others. They will only unite when it comes to something crucial, such as a matter of life and death, or when they share similar ideas. In other times, they form a loose organization."

"For us witches, although these people are powerful, they are not unfamiliar. We have watched many of them grow up step by step."

"So I can tell you directly that although the current members of the Sages' Association are far less powerful than they were in the past, fortunately, the new recruits have all been screened and evaluated through various levels. Most of them are people with high moral standards and who care about the overall situation."

"After the turmoil over a decade ago, the Sages Society took advantage of their power loss to conduct a purge. All the rebels were dealt with, and a large-scale personnel replacement was carried out afterwards. So, I can roughly guess why they invited you this time, so don't worry."

"So that's how it is. Thank you, Sister Tidaisi." The girl nodded, and the doubts in her heart were cleared away.

Then she thought of the plan that would be gradually implemented in the next few years, and hesitated whether to tell Titus.

After hesitating for a moment, Loran Hill raised his head again, looked at Tidice, and asked hesitantly, "Does Tidice understand the experiences and thoughts of the time-space witch Dorothy?"

When Tidaisi heard the name, she was stunned for a moment, then she calmed down.

"Dorothy...what an unforgettable name." She didn't speak directly, but picked up the juice on the table and stirred it gently.

Looking at the broken fruit pulp floating in the light red liquid, she answered Loran Hill's questions.

"I remember, and I know what Dorothy is thinking." Titus took a sip of the juice and then exhaled lightly.

"The future of Ivar's world is uncertain. Many witches are well aware of this, and a few sages have also learned the truth through certain channels in the past."
