Pullman took a deep breath, and then his loud voice spread throughout the wilderness.
"My fellow countrymen of Nid County, today, we stand here to tell the world!"
"The people of the Ned Mountains are free and unrestrained. They will no longer bow their heads in submission. They will straighten their backs and wash away centuries of oppression with iron and blood!"
"We have been forced to obey since birth. The kingdom treats us like straw dogs, the lowest and most despicable. We have been tortured by the cold and ruthless rules until now."
"We have been called lowly, mocked as fools covered in black ash. So, we will transform into beasts of darkness and take back what has been stolen."
"Crush ridicule and shame underfoot."
"Even if what awaits us is a brutal massacre."
"We must also fight like trapped beasts, using our blood and teeth to tear open a path to survival!"
The curtain on the platform was now unveiled. A massive blue banner bore three golden morning stars. Beneath the stars lay a book, flanked by two wheat ears. The morning sun rose, breaking through the mist and gilding the brand new banner with a layer of gold.
The dozen or so leaders on the platform were all from this land. They stood behind Pullman and watched this solemn scene, raising their right hands and swearing an oath together with their compatriots present.
"I hereby swear to become brothers in life and death with my compatriots present here. I entrust my life and back to each other and fight for the future of the Ned Mountains until my death!"
The crisp sounds of swords being drawn rang out one after another, and the sound of oaths resounded through the sky.
