"Thank you, ladies, but I don't want this." Su Lisi pushed the purse back.
"Well...no, Sister Sulis, there's still my original money in it." Triton was a little reluctant.
"Since you call me sister, I must take care of you." Su Lisi glared at the little fat man and continued.
"Also, did you say before, 'I have an older sister who can't get married'?"
"This..." The little fat boy was speechless for a moment and looked around.
"Hehe..." They laughed for a while, then said goodbye again, left the small courtyard, and headed to the seaside pier to meet up with another group of companions.
Shortly after they left, an ordinary horse-drawn carriage drove into the small courtyard and stopped.
A young man who was driving jumped out of the car, his white shirt already soaked with sweat.
"I'm back, Allen." Su Lisi waved and went back to the house to start cooking.
"Yeah." The young man drew a bucket of water from the well, drank a few gulps and then slowly put it down. Although he was dressed in ordinary clothes, he looked pretty good and had a sunny look.
"Brother Allen." The door of another house in the small courtyard was pushed open, and a little girl came out. She was wearing a blue and white dress. The style looked good, but the edges were washed white and looked a little worn.
"Well, little Luna, have you been good today?" He squatted down and stroked the little girl's head.
"Yes." The little girl nodded.
"Haha, that's good. It's a pity that you can't move around freely now. Wait a few years and then go out and find a good family." There was a hint of pity in his voice.
"What good family? I think it's better for you to earn some money and live on your own so that you can live more comfortably." The little fat man came over with a bit of cursing.
"Luna, be good~" He squatted down and was about to touch her head, but the little girl dodged him.
"Hello, Brother Triton." Luna poked her head out from behind Allen and looked at the little fat boy.
"Luna, you don't even want to be close to me. It was me who rescued you from the fire. Woohoo." Triton wiped his eyes and pretended to cry.
A small hand was placed on Triton's bird nest blonde hair: "Brother Triton, don't cry. Luna has some candy here."
She stretched out her little hand, revealing the red round candy inside, and handed it over.
Triton immediately stopped crying and laughed. After hearing this, Sulis walked out of the room, snatched the candy from Triton's hand, and gave it back to Luna.
"You'd better think carefully about how to explain to everyone tonight. We almost attracted an important figure. If those masters in the city knew Luna's whereabouts, they would have put us on the wanted list."
After all, this child is the only living heir of the Filula Chamber of Commerce.
Looking at this well-behaved girl, Su Lisi couldn't help but recall the changes and fire two years ago, the panicked crowds, the blood and the waving of swords, and the collapse of several large chambers of commerce overnight.
