Aliena, Loran Hill, and Lily walked down the street, continuing to browse the shops.
Since this was once the capital, there are some shops that are not found in small places, such as painting material stores, porcelain stores, poetry and book stores, etc. The few of them were reluctant to leave, and time passed quickly.
They first looked at each store, but this took too much time, so they picked out interesting stores and went in to have a look. Before they knew it, it was already 4-5 o'clock in the afternoon. Fortunately, it gets dark late in this season, so they can still shop for a while.
"Is this a wine shop? It's a bit rare." Alena and Lily stood under a sign. The logo was made up of red, blue and green wine bottles, and next to it was a line of words "Hibiscus Winery".
"Let's go and have a look."
Several people walked in. Lily and Alena were both very interested, but Loran Hill walked out after looking around. She was not very interested in alcohol or anything like that.
"I'll wait for you outside."
"Uh-huh."
After she finished speaking, she walked out. The strong sunlight came into view again, causing her to pull the hat on her head slightly. Then she walked to the alley on the side, which was not exposed to direct sunlight and was cooler and more comfortable.
Now they were almost at the beach. Looking from the alley towards the exit in the distance, they could see the vague sea water, guardrails, and blue sky.
Not wanting to attract too much attention, Roland Hill wore a light brown coat on top of her skirt today. It was similar in style to a short robe, slightly longer than her skirt, reaching just above the knees. It had a hood that could be pulled up in the rain or intense sun. The front was buttonless, revealing a portion of her white skirt underneath.
Seeing that Alena and Lily would not come out for a while, Loran Hill leaned against the wall, raised one foot, and stretched and relaxed a little.
"Hey."
A voice came from not far away. The girl looked up and saw a figure leaning out of the third floor of a house in the alley. He stretched out his hand from the window and waved to Luo Lanxi below.
Are you calling me? The girl was a little unsure, but there was indeed no one else here, so Loran Hill walked over with a little doubt.
The person who greeted him was a young man, about 20 years old, with a round face and a sense of weight gain. When he saw the hooded man coming over, he took out a rolled blanket from the window and threw it down.
"Can you help me connect it? It's too long and the stairs are too narrow. It's not convenient to carry it down." said the little fat man.
Loran Hill blinked, and while she was still thinking, the blanket was thrown down and landed in front of her, raising a light cloud of dust.
"Thank you, I'll be there soon." Without waiting for Loran Hill to answer, the little fat man closed the window and seemed to be going downstairs.
Loran Hill stood here, a little hesitant. She turned her head and looked outside the alley. There were scattered pedestrians walking across the street. Occasionally, one or two glanced at the entrance of the alley and saw the figure standing next to the blanket. They didn't pay too much attention and continued walking past.
After a while, there was a sound of talking not far away.
"Mrs. Gold, I have cleaned your fireplace."
"Okay, here's your reward."
"Thank you, Mrs. Gold. You can always come to me if you need anything in the future."
"Then I'll go first." Followed by the sound of brisk footsteps.
Not long after, the figure appeared at the entrance of the alley and walked over.
"Hey, brother." After he came in, he looked at the intact blanket and Loran Hill, breathed a sigh of relief, and then walked closer.
When the distance between the two was only 5-6 meters, the little fat man could see Loran Hill's face clearly.
"Oh, sorry, I didn't expect you to be a girl." He slowly stopped and rubbed his hair a little embarrassedly.
After hesitating for a moment, he took out a purse from his arms, took out a few silver coins from it, and then handed the rest to Loran Hill.
"Thank you for your help. I'll be leaving now."
Seeing that Loran Hill didn't answer, he felt a little embarrassed, then put down his purse, picked up the blanket on the ground, and prepared to leave.
"Wait a minute, where are you going to move this?" Loran Hill finally spoke. This little fat guy didn't look like the kind of person who was so pale and muscular that he couldn't live, so why would he do such a thing?
"Actually, I'm just a porter, moving it from one place to another." He turned around and explained.
"Will you charge me some more money?" Loran Hill looked at him with amusement as he tried to defend himself.
"Ahem, carrying things is also physically demanding. It shouldn't be too much to earn a little reward for it."
"but...."
Just when Loran Hill was about to ask, Alena and Lily had already walked out of the store. They turned the alley and walked over without seeing Loran Hill.
"So you are here, Loran." After the two came over, they looked at the little fat man in front of them curiously.
"Ah, there's a purse on the ground." Lily jumped and squatted down to pick it up, and the little fat man took the opportunity to walk quickly, ready to leave the alley.
"Where do you want to go?" Alena realized something was wrong at a glance, and she turned lightly and jumped in front of the little fat man, blocking his way.
"I...I'm just working to support my family. Ladies, please let me go." He looked at Alena who was so agile and knew that she was not an ordinary person, so he immediately begged for mercy.
"Wow, to support the family? How many people are there in your family who need you to support?" Alena waved her fingers, not believing it at all.
