Seasonal fruits, handicrafts, snacks and barbecues, weapons, household tools, alchemical creations, and more from all over Crancia—people stopped to watch at nearly every stall. Here, you could find practically any commodity you could imagine. The thriving and diverse market attracted travelers and merchants from all over the north and south, who stopped here to search for things that interested them and things they had never seen before.
Seeing so many pedestrians, Loran Hill and Ye Ling stood a little closer. The two followed the crowd onto the street, looking curiously at the things on both sides.
An orc in a short-sleeved leather coat walked past the two of them carrying a heavy wooden barrel. His two-meter-tall body blocked the sunlight like a small mountain, and there was a slight smell of sweat.
"Lime, the beer you ordered is here." He came to a pub and shouted. His voice was like a lion's roar, loud and trembling, making many passers-by weak in the knees.
"Okay, I'll be right there."
A response came from the tavern, and soon a slightly thin human man pushed open the door and walked out.
"Let's put it to the back for now. Many guests have reserved tables tonight, and I guess most of them will be used up in one night." He skillfully led the lion-maned orc to the back door of the tavern and greeted him, as if he was already accustomed to such a roar-like voice.
"Hey, is Uncle Figg here today too? Did you bring the orange wine I mentioned before?" As he spoke, a bunny-eared girl in a black and white vest uniform came out. Judging from her attire, she seemed to be the bartender and waitress in the store.
"Oh, I'm sorry, that kind of fruit wine is sold out. It seems to be in short supply recently. Many people have made reservations and the schedule is full." The lion-maned orc rubbed his head a little embarrassedly. His big, thick hands were like stones, blocking the sunlight in front of the rabbit-eared girl.
"Hey, we clearly agreed on this before. Couldn't Uncle Figg have the brewery produce more?" Looking up at the sturdy orc in front of her, the rabbit-eared girl questioned with her hands behind her waist. Her eyes as clear as ruby and the pair of snow-white rabbit ears made her look indescribably cute.
"Well, the clerk said that there will be a restriction on alcohol consumption recently because too many people are drunk and causing trouble. Our brewery has also been notified." He turned his head slightly embarrassedly and answered defensively.
"Well, it's a rare time when business is good." After knowing that complaining was of no use, the rabbit-eared girl turned her back, waved her hand, and ignored the lion-maned orc.
"Well, I heard that a batch of ice-brewed grape sake was recently shipped from the Sanctuary. Maybe I can ask about it for you." Seeing the rabbit-eared girl about to leave, the lion-maned orc wanted to keep her, but then he came up with another idea.
"Hey, is that true?" Upon hearing the news, the rabbit-eared girl turned around again and skipped to the lion-maned orc.
"Really." Then the two of them started communicating again.
Looking at the two people on the street, Ye Ling's eyes showed curiosity.
"They get along so well, it feels so natural. When I was in school, those orc classmates said it was hard to survive in human society, and they were bullied and excluded in many places."
"Well, maybe it's different in Cransia." Loran Hill shook his finger slightly, then continued to move forward with Ye Ling.
Compared to the elegant but classically aristocratic Titaneya, Solander appears to have more of a down-to-earth feel and her colors are richer and brighter.
Many of the store signs along the street are painted with light-colored paint on dark brown wooden boards, which are very bright and eye-catching.
"Fragrance of Glaze" perfume shop, "Ice and Fire Cube" alchemy creation shop, "Oriental Fire" restaurant, "Seven Brews of the Elf" store specializing in elf drinks, "North Wind" fur clothing store, "Blooming Ears" grain store, "Ice Clear" fruit and vegetable store, etc.
Their decoration styles are different, with a combination of fantasy and alchemy, which is rare in other places on the continent.
Walking down the street, Loran Hill and Ye Ling could still see quite a few students in neat uniforms. Some of them were taking advantage of their lunch break to shop or eat, chatting about the academy. Judging by their appearance, they came from different regions. Some were orcs from the north, sporting curved horns or animal ears. Some were residents of the southern coast, with brown hair and slightly different accents. Still others came from the cliffs at the end of the western desert, their uniforms slit in the back revealing a pair of black and white wings.
Although they came from different places, they didn't care about each other's different races or identities when talking to each other. They were very casual and harmonious, and occasionally laughed and made harmless jokes.
"It feels really good." Seeing this, Ye Ling nodded her head, indicating that it was great.
"Sister Luo Lan is just amazing, hehe."
"Why are you mentioning my name again?" Walking on the street, Loran Hill curiously asked the little guy beside him.
"Of course it's Sister Loran who's amazing. That's why we have such a beautiful scene." She praised Loran Hill as if she was talking about herself, feeling indescribably happy.
"I knew it a long time ago that Sister Luo Lan would be very powerful, hehe." Ye Ling shook her body proudly and almost stood in the middle of the road to announce it loudly.
In response, Loran Hill smiled and shook his head.
"Actually, it was achieved by everyone together. There are many things that I can't do alone." She raised her head and looked at the clouds floating across the sky and the clear sky.
"While I was away, everyone continued to move forward towards their dreams."
"But, but, it must be Sister Luo Lan who has made the greatest contribution, because with her, everything that comes after is possible." Ye Ling insisted on her own idea.
