Shu Jianyue nodded and followed her inside. Now all she saw were normal human figures, no more eye-searing sights.
The little girl led her to a lakeside pavilion, bowed, and then left.
The pavilion was covered with gauze curtains, so the people inside couldn't see clearly; they could only vaguely make out a bit of their backs.
Shu Jianyue looked at the person sitting in the lakeside pavilion. From her direction, a pillar blocked half of the person's body, but judging from the other figure, it should be a girl.
"Come in, Venerable Shu," a melodious female voice called out.
Shu Jianyue stepped inside and paused for a moment when she saw the person sitting by the lake. "You look familiar."
Especially those eyes, they look so familiar, like I've seen them somewhere before.
Xing Guyu smiled at her and said, "Please sit down."
Shu Jianyue nodded and sat down without any hesitation. "May I ask your name?"
"Xing Guyu." Xing Guyu smiled and poured her a cup of spiritual tea.
Shu Jianyue glanced at it, what a unique surname. "How does Miss Xing know me?"
"I was fortunate enough to meet you once, but Venerable Shu did not see me," Xing Guyu said, taking a sip of spiritual tea.
"I have come to see Venerable Shu for no other reason than to ask Venerable Shu and the Divine Venerable not to get involved in the affairs of the Ghost Realm."
Shu Jianyue raised an eyebrow. "Oh, so you're the one who started all this?" Then she's wrongly accusing Wujie?
Xing Guyu shook his head. "Half and half, I was just going with the flow."
"Do you have a grudge against Yama?" Shu Jianyue asked, looking at her.
Xing Guyu paused for a moment, "It's not really a grudge."
"Can you please not get involved in this matter?"
Shu Jianyue shook her head. "Since you know my identity, you should also know the identity of the person who came with me. I can ignore him, but he can't."
identity?
Xing Guyu looked at her; it seemed that she only knew one side of the story.
All she knew was that Venerable Shu was a distinguished guest of the Spirit Beast Sect and had always lived there, while the other one was merely a deity.
She had only learned all of this from Gong Chengying; she had no idea about his specific identity.
Therefore, she didn't intend to offend the person in front of her.
Seeing that she had lowered her head, Shu Jianyue was also confused about what she meant. "If you two don't have any enmity, then what's the point of making such a big fuss?"
"When you said you were going with the flow, did you know whose boat you were pushing?"
Xing Guyu shook his head, "I just happened to come to the Ghost Realm and encountered this incident, so I lent a hand to those Ghost Kings."
"At least why, it's just to vent some anger."
“The Ghost Realm is also a world. Originally, everyone lived in peace and prosperity, but because of your anger, war has broken out.” Shu Jianyue stood up and looked at the dark lake.
"May I tell you about the grudge between you and the King of Hell? After all, I am quite familiar with him. Let's see if there is any room for negotiation."
Xing Guyu's eyes darkened, and he shook his head, saying, "No need. Even if we were to discuss it, he would come to me personally."
"I'll take back all the demons and monsters if he comes to apologize to me in person. If I'm satisfied, I'll take them back."
Shu Jianyue narrowed her eyes as she looked at her, then suddenly remembered something, and stood up with a smile. "Alright, I'll pass this on to him. May I leave now?"
Since we can't get any information here, we can only go back and interrogate the Ghost King in the space.
Xing Guyu looked at her, thought for a moment and said, "Then please ask Venerable Shu to pass on a message: if he wants me to withdraw the demons and monsters, then he should come alone to apologize to me."
Shu Jianyue raised an eyebrow and reminded her again, seemingly harboring deep resentment. "I will pass on your message."
“I’ll have Zhong Song escort you out.” Xing Guyu summoned Zhong Song, instead of the little girl who had brought her in earlier.
Shu Jianyue saw Zhong Song turn around and look at Xing Guyu, asking, "Zhong Song is Yan Huang's man, how did you manage to turn him against him?"
Xing Guyu shook his head and said, "No, Zhongsong has always been my person, I'm just temporarily staying with him."
Shu Jianyue's brows twitched slightly. "Farewell."
Zhong Song nodded to Xing Guyu, then led Shu Jianyue outside. With his size, he had to carefully step over the wall and flowers, making the walk quite arduous.
After Xing Guyu left, he turned back to look at the lake, his eyes flickering with light.
As soon as Shu Jianyue left the Red Mist Zone, she saw Chong Jiu waiting outside and immediately walked towards him.
Chong Jiu looked her over for a while before asking, "Are you alright?"
Shu Jianyue shook her head, "Let's go back to Zhongwangtian first, there are some acquaintances of the King of Hell inside."
Chong Jiu nodded, put his arm around her, and flew towards Zhong Wangtian.
He rushed over as soon as he received her message, and after arriving, he received another message from her and waited outside instead of barging in.
Back in Zhongwangtian, Shu Jianyue summoned Yan Huang and threw Dai Mu and Gong Chengying out.
"Let's investigate and see who's behind this."
"Also, there's no need to ask about those demons and monsters. I know where they came from. You just need to ask who's behind them."
Yama glanced at Daimu and asked, "Where did those demons and monsters come from?"
Shu Jianyue gave him a half-smile, "We'll talk about it later. Let's interrogate them first."
Yan Huang frowned, feeling that the way she was looking at him was strange.
"What, you've already brought the person back for you, do you still need me to interrogate them?" Shu Jianyue raised an eyebrow at him.
Yan Huang rolled his eyes at her and said, "Can you stop looking at me like that, like I'm some kind of actor being stared at?"
Shu Jianyue coughed lightly and laughed, "Alright, I did watch a good show of yours today. Once you've interrogated these two, I'll tell you what kind of show it was."
Yan Huang's appetite was immediately whetted by her, and he said irritably, "How am I supposed to interrogate you like this?"
Chong Jiu glanced at him and said, "Go and interrogate him quickly. We need to get back. We don't have time to waste in this ghost realm."
Yan Huang glared at Shu Jianyue and dragged the two of them away for interrogation.
After Chong Jiu left, he turned to Shu Jianyue and asked, "What did you find inside?"
Shu Jianyue smiled and recounted what happened behind the red mist, "Tell me, isn't that a debt of gratitude owed to Yama?"
Seeing her excited expression as if she had discovered a little secret, Chong Jiu couldn't help but shake his head with a smile. "You really have to ask Yan Huang himself, after all, he has quite a few romantic relationships."
"Oh, you even know this? What about yours? Is it plentiful?" Shu Jianyue asked, staring intently at him.
Chong Jiu bit her earlobe and whispered, "You didn't know?"
Shu Jianyue shrank her neck. Okay, she knew.
Yanhuang threw Daimu directly into a pool and coldly watched him choke and wake up.
Du Mu stood choking in the mud, about to curse, when he saw Yan Huang sitting there, coldly watching him.
"Yan, Yama, the King of Hell."
