Once you cross the natural barrier, you'll reach the border of the Central Spirit Realm.
Seeing that they were almost at the garrison city, Yang Qingling suggested that they go into the city to rest for a day and then set off for the main city of Zhongling Domain the next day.
Apart from Du Chun of the Holy Star Sect, everyone else went in without objection, so his opinion was naturally unimportant.
Shu Jianyue moored the spirit boat outside the garrison city and was the first to disembark from it.
Looking at the slightly dilapidated city gate in front of him and the faint, indistinct gas floating in the air, he couldn't help but raise an eyebrow.
"How can we rest in such a dilapidated place?" Du Chun said, pursing his lips.
"You should have listened to me. Let's get to the main city first. Once we get there, we can relax and rest for a few days."
Yang Qingling glanced at him and led the disciples of Qingling Sect into the city first.
Shu Jianyue looked at Fang Cheng, "Shall we go in?"
Fang Cheng nodded, "Since everyone's down here, let's go in together."
We can't leave the people of Qingling Sect behind; let them go first.
Shu Jianyue took Xixi's hand and followed them into the city.
Yu Chuan looked at Chong Jiu and said, "Father, the demonic energy in the city is quite strong."
Even DouDou on his shoulder let out two roars, "Roar roar..."
“Your mother saw it too, so we just need to follow her.” Chong Jiu patted his head and followed Shu Jianyue’s steps.
Yu Chuan quickly followed.
Du Chun, who was left with no other choice, had no choice but to lead his disciples inside after the spirit boats had all been taken away.
Yang Qingling found an inn and booked it all, which was just enough for the disciples of the two sects.
So the last two sects to arrive, Qingling Sect and Hunyuan Immortal Sect, stayed at this inn; the others had to find their own way.
Shu Jianyue told Chaotian to keep an eye on Yuchuan and Yanxi, and to protect Xie Zhongjiu, before she went out herself.
Chong Jiu looked at Yan Xi and said, "Xi Xi, you go with your mother."
Yan Xi immediately understood his meaning, got up and ran out to catch up with Shu Jianyue.
Shu Jianyue didn't say anything when she saw that she had come along, and took her hand and they left the inn together.
As soon as I stepped out of the inn, I saw Du Chun cursing and swearing, acting like a shrew, without any semblance of a cultivator.
Shu Jianyue glanced at it and then turned and left, heading towards the place where the black energy was the densest.
Chong Jiu stood at the window looking outside until Shu Jianyue's figure disappeared from sight before turning his gaze away.
Many people saw Shu Jianyue and her daughter go out and assumed they were just going out for fun, since they were both quite young, unlike their parents who were several hundred years old.
Fang Cheng had just finished arranging things and was about to return to his room when Bai Na stopped him.
"Master, wasn't Grandmaster Uncle's child just one or two years old and barely able to walk? How come he's grown so much in just a few months?"
Fang Cheng glanced at her; he was utterly disappointed in this disciple.
"Don't ask questions you shouldn't ask, especially about matters concerning your elders."
"Our ancestor already informed everyone beforehand not to make any rash comments about our grandmaster uncle's affairs. Have you forgotten the Spirit-Nourishing Pills we received back then?"
Bai Na was his last disciple, so she naturally received the Spirit Nourishing Pill, which helped her break through to the fifth level of Foundation Establishment. Otherwise, she wouldn't have had anything to do in this competition.
Thinking about it, I feel she's incredibly ungrateful.
Fang Cheng glanced at her, then turned and left.
Bai Na was so angry that her lips turned quite pale.
He thought to himself, "Shu Jianyue must not be human, otherwise why would the child grow up like this?"
Otherwise, how could she have suddenly reached the Golden Core stage after being away for a few months?
Bai Na thought for a moment, then turned and went out the door.
Shu Jianyue returned shortly after going out, and just as she came back, she saw her leaving.
Bai Na saw her, lowered her eyes and bowed, "Greetings, Grandmaster Uncle."
Shu Jianyue nodded and led Yan Xi into the inn. Seeing Lu Xiwei talking to the innkeeper in the lobby, she called out, "Lu Xiwei, what's wrong?"
When Lu Xiwei saw them return, she immediately bowed and said, "Greetings, Grandmaster Uncle, Junior Grandmaster Uncle. The blankets in my room are too dirty. I don't know why there are watermarks on them. I'll ask the shopkeeper to change them for me."
Seeing this unequal treatment, Bai Na left with a stiff face.
Shu Jianyue's eyebrows twitched slightly as she looked at the shopkeeper.
When the shopkeeper saw Lu Xiwei address her as her grandmaster, he knew that this person could not be offended, so he smiled and said, "I will arrange for a maid to change it immediately. Please wait a moment, young lady."
Shu Jianyue shook her head, said a few words to Lu Xiwei, and then took Yan Xi back to her room.
"You're back. How was it? What is it?" Chong Jiu put down the book in his hand and looked at her.
Shu Jianyue told Yan Xi to go play by himself, and sat down next to him, saying, "Someone has already been affected by an unpurified demonic bone that was brought out of the Demon Realm by someone unknown."
As Shu Jianyue spoke, she took out the demonic bone. It looked even better than Luo Yanhu Yang's demonic bone, which meant that the owner of this bone had a much higher cultivation level than Luo Yanhu Yang.
Chong Jiu glanced at it and frowned, saying, "This bone isn't something you'd find in the Heavenly Barrier Demon Realm. Someone must have brought it out from the Intermediate Demon Realm."
"The Demon Realm is inaccessible to people from at least the ten lower realms."
"So, someone from above brought this over?" Shu Jianyue picked up the demon bone and examined it from all angles.
Finally, a small engraving was seen in the joint space. "Chongjiu, look at this. It looks like a small formation."
Chong Jiu took a look and immediately frowned. "Hmm, it's a demon-summoning array."
"It's impossible to carve such a small demon-attracting array without being at least a blue-grade character."
Shu Jianyue put down the demon bone and said, "Who went to such great lengths to get a demon bone like this from the Demon Realm and even inscribed a demon-attracting array on it and left it here?"
Chong Jiu shook his head. "If someone comes to this city, they must be someone who comes here."
