The second volume is finally finished.
As usual, I will give a rough summary of this volume. If you don’t want to read Sanjiu’s nagging, you can skip it~
I originally thought that this volume would not be very long, at least not more than the 550,000 words of the first volume, but as I was writing, I realized that I had unknowingly written nearly 700,000 words... It's a bit long, but not watery.
Well, at least I don't think it's boring... Every plot or dialogue has its own meaning, and they are linked together. Can this be called boring? (狗头)
A lot of things I want to say have already been said in the summary at the end of the first volume, so I will skip them here and move on to the summary.
The theme of the first volume is "Gods", Seraphim, Yang Jian, Little Black Lai, Yuanshi Tianzun, Poseidon, Hades, Loki... This is the beginning of everything, this is a story of "Gods" protecting "people";
The second volume is different.
The core of this volume is no longer the "gods" who can call the wind and rain, but the ordinary but great "people" one after another.
Wu Laogou, who pretends to be sick and hides from the world, Li Deyang, who guards the border alone, Chen Han, who is inexperienced in the world, Baili Pangpang, who is reborn in despair, Miao Su, the only night watchman in Guangzhou and Shenzhen, the ninth seat of the undercover "Believers", and those human ceilings...
Who says the world needs God?
In despair and darkness, those who have the courage to stand in front of millions of people radiate a brilliance that is brighter than that of gods.
In this volume, Sanjiu really wanted to write only four words, which were Ye Fan’s long-cherished wish:
Man can conquer nature.
I wonder if any readers have discovered that the five human ceilings are all epitomes of “ordinariness”.
The waiter Zhou Ping, the takeaway boy Lu Wuwei, the security guard Ye Fan of Daxia, the programmer Guan Zai, the teacher Chen Fuzi...
Their profession can be seen everywhere in life, but this does not mean that they are insignificant. Every person who wears an "ordinary" coat may have a pure heart.
When a crisis strikes, the real heroes come from the "ordinary" rather than the "noble" or "rich".
Maybe they are not Superman or Iron Man, they cannot save the earth, and there are only few things they can do, but so what?
Saving a frustrated person who wants to commit suicide, picking up a passerby who accidentally falls into the river, scaring off a gangster who is following a girl, saving a child who is abducted by human traffickers... Compared with saving the world, these things may indeed be small, but to the people who are saved, they are heroes.
Each of us is Chen Han.
Without Li Deyang’s background and Zhou Ping’s talent, he is ordinary yet great. This is the real “Night Watchman”.
This is what I want to write in this volume.
Maybe there are many places that are not handled perfectly, but overall, Sanjiu is still satisfied.
Sanjiu is still a newcomer in the online literature world. It has only been a year since he wrote his first book. There will definitely be some problems, and there is still a big gap between him and some veteran writers. However, Sanjiu will keep improving and get better and better.
The next volume... um... no spoilers!
I repeat, if you think that Sanjiu’s writing is okay and this book looks okay, it would be best if you could help promote it more. Here, Sanjiu would especially like to thank those loyal readers who have always supported me and turned into Amway fanatics.
Any one of you can pin the socially phobic Zhou Ping to the ground!
Well done!
Finally, I would like to remind you that you should try not to raise books.
Heart~
