6 Chapter 6

◎Liao Yishen, what style do you like?◎

At seven o'clock, Teacher Meng collected their test papers and their first day of tutoring ended.

It doesn’t seem as boring as I imagined.

When we walked out of the stadium, the summer sunset dyed half of the sky orange.

The evening breeze blows gently, taking away the day's fatigue.

The six people said goodbye at the entrance of the stadium. Tao Wen waved and got on the bus, while Chen Yanyan and Meng Qixiang walked towards the subway station.

The remaining three people walked to the bicycles in the roadside parking area. Sang Xinqi took out her keys, and the metal colliding made a crisp sound.

Liao Yishen had already unlocked the car and sat steadily on the seat with his long legs.

"Let's go!" Jiang Xun patted the back seat, "Please give me a ride back home."

As he spoke, he plopped down on the back seat. Sang Xinqi almost lost her grip on the bicycle. Fortunately, Jiang Xun sat on it and supported himself with his legs on the ground, so the bicycle did not fall over. She turned around and glared at Jiang Xun, "Can't you be more gentle?"

Jiang Xun looked at her apologetically and said, "Sorry!"

Sang Xinqi curled her lips, swiftly got on her bicycle, turned to Liao Yishen and said, "Let's go."

Liao Yishen nodded slightly and took the lead in pedaling.

Sang Xinqi pedaled hard, and the bike suddenly sped forward. She couldn't help but complain, "Jiang Xun, you should lose weight!"

Jiang Xun sighed from behind, "I'm 1.80 meters tall and weigh 135 kilograms. I have a perfect body shape!"

Two bicycles rode one after the other into the dusk-shrouded street.

The evening breeze, carrying the unique warmth of a summer night, gently brushed their cheeks.

At first, Sang Xinqi rode quite briskly, but gradually she slowed down.

She noticed that Liao Yishen in front of her kept a constant speed, obviously waiting for them.

"Sangsang," Jiang Xun suddenly lowered his voice, "Look at Liao Yishen, his back is as straight as a javelin."

Sang Xinqi snorted softly, "I'm not like someone who hunches over all day long."

Jiang Xun immediately straightened his back in dissatisfaction, "How can I be hunchbacked?"

Sang Xinqi smiled secretly, her eyes unconsciously following the tall figure in front of her. How come even the back of this person exudes a kind of cool and handsome appearance?

"Look at him," she said involuntarily, "even his riding posture is so pleasing to the eye."

Jiang Xun immediately straightened his back again, "My back is not bad, okay!"

Fortunately, the distance was not far, and Sang Xinqi's legs were so sore when she finally arrived at the entrance of the community.

She stopped the car and waved to Liao Yishen, "See you tomorrow!"

Liao Yishen looked back at her, the evening breeze ruffling his hair.

He nodded slightly, his voice soft, "Well, see you tomorrow."

The next morning, sunlight streamed into the room through the gauze curtains. Sang Xinqi woke up early, a rare occasion.

She hummed a song while preparing breakfast. When Sang's mother got up and saw breakfast on the table, she was surprised and asked, "Why are you so active today?"

"Nothing," Sang Xinqi stuffed the egg into her mouth, her eyes curved into crescents, "I just suddenly thought cram school was quite interesting."

Sang Guoyu knew her daughter well. She knew there must be some good classmates or something else in that cram school, otherwise she wouldn't have said that. She said while eating breakfast, "Since you find it interesting, then study hard."

Sang Xinqi nodded, "I understand, Mom. After you finish eating, go to work quickly so you don't get late."

Sang Guoyu responded, quickly finished her breakfast, picked up her bag at the entrance, and said, "Let's go."

"Let's go, Mom, and make money to support me," Sang Xinqi said to her mother with a smile.

Sang Guoyu responded lovingly, "Okay, okay, okay."

After breakfast, Sang Xinqi went downstairs with her schoolbag.

Jiang Xun did not come to his house today, but waited for her in the carport downstairs.

Seeing Sang Xinqi coming down, Jiang Xun pushed out the bicycle.

She suddenly said, "We're not riding together today."

"Ah?" Jiang Xun was confused. "Why?"

"It's too tiring to carry people," Sang Xinqi casually adjusted the straps of her schoolbag, but her eyes drifted into the distance.

Jiang Xun suddenly realized, "Oh~ Then I'll give you a ride from now on!"

"Okay!" Sang Xinqi immediately jumped onto the back seat, as agile as a deer, and put on a sun hat.

"Damn it!" Jiang Xun finally realized, "You just don't want to give me a ride!"

Sang Xinqi was laughing so hard in the back seat, "I was so tired from driving you yesterday that my legs were weak!"

The sun was already quite scorching at around eight o'clock.

Jiang Xun rode very fast, and Sang Xinqi had to hold on to the corner of his clothes tightly.

The wind blew her hair, but her eyes were sparkling under the sun hat.

As soon as I arrived at the door of the stadium, I heard the sound of orderly reading coming from the classroom.

Jiang Xun was shocked, "This is too much."

"Otherwise why is he called a top student?" Sang Xinqi said softly, unconsciously quickening her pace.

Pushing open the door, Liao Yishen's straight back came into view in the morning light.

The sound of reading aloud in the classroom gradually stopped.

In an instant, there was only one person's voice left in the classroom.

Liao Yishen stopped reading, raised his head slightly, his eyes met Sang Xinqi's briefly, then turned back as if nothing had happened and continued reading.

The others just stopped briefly to say hello to the two of them.

Sang Xinqi curled the corners of her mouth quietly, walked to her seat, sat down, took out her book and joined the reading group.

At this moment, she suddenly understood why she was looking forward to coming to the cram school. It turned out that it was not just for the tutoring, but also for that particularly beautiful face in the morning light.

Seventeen or eighteen years old is the time when love begins to blossom.

Sang Xinqi had to admit that Liao Yishen's handsome face with clear contours and his cold and aloof temperament really made her unable to help but take a few more glances at him.

The morning reading lasted about an hour and then ended, and everyone started to concentrate on doing their homework.

Today, Teacher Meng went to the hospital for a physical examination, but he did not forget to ask Meng Xiwang to bring the corrected test papers to Sang Xinqi and Jiang Xun.

"Here," Meng Qixiang handed two test papers covered with red pen marks to Sang Xinqi and Jiang Xun, "You've made quite a few mistakes, especially Jiang Xun."

Jiang Xun took the test paper and looked at it, and immediately cried out, "Oh my god!" Bright red crosses almost covered the entire paper.

Sang Xinqi's situation was not much better. She bit the pen cap and looked through her test paper with a frown.

"My uncle told you," Meng Qixiang added, "to correct your mistakes first. If you don't understand something, ask him when he comes back."

"Got it," they answered in unison, and then began to revise their test papers.

Then, the only sound in the classroom was the scraping of pens across paper, which lasted all morning.

At lunchtime, the six of them went to the noodle shop they had been to yesterday.

The familiar boss warmly invited them to sit down and even specially added some side dishes for these regular customers.

After dinner, everyone returned to the gym for a short rest before returning to afternoon study.

During the long study time, taking advantage of the break, several people went to the court to sweat. The badminton drew a beautiful arc in the air, temporarily dispelling the fatigue of studying.

After coming back, everyone was more energetic and continued to study hard.

After nearly a whole day of hard work, Sang Xinqi finally corrected most of the wrong questions, but there were still a few difficult questions that she was not quite sure about even with the detailed explanations.

Looking at the dense red pen marks on the test paper, she rubbed her sore eyes.

With two hours left before the end of get out of class, Sang Xinqi's attention began to wander, and the pencil in her hand unconsciously began to sketch on the draft paper.

Compared with boring mathematical formulas, she enjoys using lines to depict the clothing styles in her mind, such as flowing long skirts and neat suits, and every stroke is filled with her love for design.

The pencil scratched on the paper, and Sang Xinqi was completely immersed in her own world.

It was not until a shadow covered the paper that she suddenly looked up and found that Liao Yishen had stood beside her without her noticing.

The boy's cold gaze fell on her design draft, and his brows moved almost imperceptibly.

Sang Xinqi subconsciously covered her draft paper and looked up to meet Liao Yishen's cold eyes. She asked in a panic, "What's wrong?"

"Borrow a pen," Liao Yishen said in a faint voice.

"Oh, okay..." Sang Xinqi frantically took out a pink fountain pen from her pencil case and handed it over, "Here."

When Liao Yishen took the pen, his eyes casually glanced at her design drawing, "Well drawn."

These four simple words instantly made Sang Xinqi's ears burn. She pursed her lips and smiled, "Thank you..."

Jiang Xun, who was working on a test paper, heard the noise and immediately interrupted. "Sangsang is amazing," he said, pulling up his white T-shirt to show it off. "Look, she designed this and made it herself!"

The simple cartoon patterns on the T-shirt are arranged in a staggered manner, which is unique.

Everyone looked at him curiously when they heard this.

Tao Wen's eyes lit up. "I was wondering why this T-shirt was so special. I was just discussing with Yanyan where you bought it!"

Jiang Xun puffed out his chest proudly, as if his childhood friend was invincible. "My summer clothes are basically all designed by Sangsang. Every piece is a limited edition!"

Tao Wen and Shen Yanyan immediately surrounded Sang Xinqi, "Sangsang, can you design one for us? You can't buy clothes like this anywhere else!"

Surrounded by people praising her, Sang Xinqi's cheeks flushed, but she readily agreed, "Okay, I'll design a few styles first, and you can choose the ones you like..."

Before she could finish her words, Tao Wen hugged her arms and said, "Sangsang, you are the best!"

She shook Sang Xinqi excitedly, and the pigtails on both sides swayed with her movements.

Sang Xinqi discovered that Tao Wen really liked to tie her hair into two pigtails, but for some reason, she always felt that her hair looked weird and fake. She had discussed this with Jiang Xun before, but they couldn't come to a conclusion. However, she was too embarrassed to ask him directly.

What if it's not true? That would just poke someone in the stomach.

Her fair cheeks flushed slightly, and she asked, "Tao Wen, what style do you like?"

Tao Wen thought and said, "I have a cat at home, it's very cute, I want a cat pattern on my T-shirt..."

Liao Yishen stood aside, looking at the red ears and bright smiling eyes of the girl surrounded by people, and the pink fountain pen in his hand unconsciously turned around.

The sunlight shines through the window, casting a warm golden glow on the lively scene.

Just as Liao Yishen was concentrating on watching the scene, Sang Xinqi suddenly turned around and looked straight at him with bright eyes. "Liao Yishen, what style do you like?"

She has very long eyelashes and her eyes are exceptionally clear.

Liao Yishen's fingers holding the pen tightened slightly.

"Something simple," he paused, then added, "black."
