"Except for the affiliated junior high school, some teachers in other junior high schools are tormented by students, making it difficult for the school to operate. Teachers listen to students' orders, and students don't learn real knowledge. When they really need it in the future, they will definitely blame the teachers." Lu Bairen was very annoyed with the students. Some children in the compound were like this too. They would be dragged home by their parents and beaten directly.
For the safety of the children, the compound specifically requires adults to pay attention at all times and to correct children immediately if they are provoked by their classmates.
"Grandpa, Xiaojin and I have discussed that if the college entrance examination is going to be held in the next few years, we will let Xiaojin take it." Lu Shiyi told them their plans for the future. "Our family will come back before the Spring Festival. I believe the situation in the hospital will be better."
Lu Bairen turned the hollow ball in his right hand and listened to him talk about the future settings.
"You've really grown up and now consider the family." Lu Bairen nodded with satisfaction. "You've been strolling around the courtyard these past few days, so you should be familiar with the situation there."
Lu Shiyi smiled bitterly. It turned out that the older children had started to get in touch with the family situation as their family wished.
"Grandpa, I look at those kids playing on the lighted court and realize they're nothing like we were back then," Lu Shiyi said, remembering his teenage years when children played together, never getting into conflicts over adult conflicts. "I see kids from families with good relationships playing together, while those with bad relationships ignore each other."
Lu Bairen opened the bedside table and took out a detailed document from it. It recorded the situation in the courtyard and the factions that each household might be involved in.
"Go back and take a closer look, and then tell Xiao Jin about similar situations." Lu Bairen reminded Lu Shiyi, "After marrying into this courtyard, you must always stay alert. Otherwise, the people in the courtyard who are framing you will keep a close eye on Su Jin, and it will be bad if they get hold of something against you."
After the grandfather and grandson negotiated, Lu Shiyi walked out of the bedroom with the briefcase.
Su Jin sent Hanhan back to the bedroom to rest, and she sat in the living room waiting for him to come out.
"Wife, let's go back to the house and talk." After Lu Shiyi came out of the bedroom, Su Jin stood up to greet him and waved the file bag in her hand at her. "The information grandpa gave me."
The two returned to the bedroom. Lu Shiyi opened the document and looked at it, while Su Jin leaned on his shoulder and closed her eyes in a daze.
Lu Shiyi knew that Su Jin was in a tense mood when she came to the Lu family, and he wanted to do his best.
"You are at home now, don't be so nervous all day." Lu Shiyi reached out and pinched her little hand. "I feel tired when you are so tense all day."
Su Jin smiled bitterly: "This is my first time visiting my in-laws' house after marriage, that's why I'm so nervous. I shouldn't be nervous anymore in a few days."
Lu Shiyi whispered to Su Jin about the information in the file. Su Jin shook her head to make herself more clear-headed. After Lu Shiyi finished talking about the information in the file, Su Jin lay in his arms.
"Ayi, is the situation in the orphanage so intense? I remember you mentioned that the children get along well with each other." Su Jin asked vaguely, "Ayi, tell me again tomorrow. I'm worried that I'm too sleepy to remember now."
Lu Shiyi reached out and patted her back, letting her sleep peacefully.
"Wife, I will remind you when you need it." Lu Shiyi coaxed her to sleep.
At six o'clock in the morning, Su Jin pressed the alarm clock and Lu Shiyi reached out and patted her shoulder.
"Aunt Yang will be in charge of breakfast and lunch." Lu Shiyi calmed Su Jin's emotions.
Early in the morning, Old Ning and Old Wang came directly to the house. They said they were there to play chess with Lu Bairen, but in fact, they wanted to find out Lu Shiyi's attitude towards the Xin family.
Old Ning was once Lu Bairen's old partner. The Ning family and the Lu family supported each other. Old Wang was once Old Lu's subordinate. Although the two were of similar age, Old Lu was born into a Red Guard family.
"Old Lu, Shi Yi and his family are back, but you haven't left the house at all, and you've left all your old friends aside." Old Ning said, looking at Lu Bairen.
Lu Bairen chuckled, picked up Hanhan from the side and showed off to his two comrades.
"Isn't Ayi's child cute? Which of your little brats can compare with mine?" Lu Bairen looked at them proudly.
Old Ning looked at Hanhan curiously and was about to hug him, but Lu Bairen dodged him.
"No!" Lu Bairen dodged to the side, determined not to let his two old comrades get involved. "When your grandchildren have children in the future, won't they be raised by you?"
"Old Lu, you stinky old man, you can't even let us have our fun first." Old Ning glared at Lu Bairen and looked at the old man showing off angrily.
Aunt Yang came out of the kitchen and invited the three old men to have breakfast together.
"The two children went to bed too late last night. We let them get up a little later every morning. Xiaojin always stays up late to translate materials." Lu Bairen sighed. Hanhan reached out and grabbed his hand, looking up at him from time to time.
Old Ning was so jealous that he felt a little jealous, thinking about those bad boys at home. As long as they said they wanted to go on a blind date, they would run away faster than anyone else.
They all used work as an excuse to avoid dinner parties arranged by their families.
"I'm old, and the kids at home are no longer obedient." Old Ning sighed, "Shi Yi went out for a while, and not only did he bring back a wife, he also had such a big fat grandson. I envy you, Old Lu."
Old Wang has been sitting on the sofa, and his children slowly approached Lu Shiyi. Wang Meng will be transferred to the farm after the New Year.
"Old Wang, are you just sitting here like a wooden stake?" Lu Bairen asked Old Wang curiously, "Sister Yang, make Hanhan's milk powder. Our Hanhan needs to be fed in half an hour."
"Chief, please leave Hanhan to me. I will definitely take good care of him." Sister Yang took Hanhan away, and the three old men sat at the dining table.
