By the end of April, Su Jin had been living alone at home for a month. She was looking forward to the day when she would open the door and come home to see Lu Shiyi busy in the kitchen.
Su Jin always went out with anticipation, and when she came back she would wander around, only to be disappointed.
She walked to the table and looked at the calendar. She had to go for a prenatal check-up in two days. If Lu Shiyi couldn't make it, Su Jin decided to go by herself.
"Sister-in-law Lu, are you at home?" Doctor Yang was standing outside the hospital gate. She took the opportunity to find Su Jin to go to the hospital together before going to work.
When Lu Shiyi went on a mission, he specifically left a message that if he could not accompany Su Jin for the prenatal check-up, he hoped that Dr. Yang could accompany her before going to work.
Su Jin was wearing a white shirt, loose overalls, and a windbreaker. Holding the bag containing the examination cases in her right hand, she quickly opened the door.
"Doctor Yang, why did you come here early?" Su Jin looked at Yang Ya strangely. Lu Shiyi mentioned that Yang Ya's medical skills were better than Wang Boya's.
"Minister Lu specifically asked me to accompany you for the prenatal checkup." Yang Ya informed Su Jin, "I'll send you back after the checkup is over."
Su Jin chuckled: "I'm all ready. I need to draw blood on an empty stomach today."
Yang Ya accompanied Su Jin to the hospital after closing the door. On the way to the hospital, Yang Ya asked Su Jin about his physical condition in recent days and whether he had any sequelae from pushing someone.
"My stomach hurts all the time, it just cramps occasionally." Su Jin told Yang Ya truthfully, "I didn't expect him to attack me that day. I thought that no matter how bad he was, he wouldn't attack me from behind."
The family members saw Yang Ya accompanying Su Jin to the hospital and started talking about how something might have happened to Su Jin's child again.
There was a man who was a neighbor of Da Wa's family. He hurried home to tell Da Wa's family.
Da Wa hasn't left the house these days. I heard that he was scolded by his father.
Lu Shiyi is fighting outside, and they even want to send Su Jin to Shanghai. Lu Bu will definitely be angry when he comes back.
"Big Wa's mother, come out quickly!" the neighbor shouted hurriedly, "Doctor Yang has taken Lu Bu's wife to the hospital. Is there anything else?"
Da Wa's mother opened the door directly and stepped aside to let the neighbor in.
"Sister-in-law Lu is going to make Da Wa go to the patrol team before she'll give up. Da Wa's father came back and beat Da Wa up. What bad intentions could a 10-year-old have? Why won't she forgive him?" Da Wa's mother thought the intellectuals were petty and insisted on holding her back. "I took Da Wa to apologize, but they wouldn't even open the door."
The neighbor just exchanged a few words and left, going home to tell his children not to play with Da Wa and the others anymore.
In the hospital, Su Jin took the form to have blood drawn, while Yang Ya sat in the office waiting for Su Jin to come.
Da Wa's mother found Dr. Yang's office and pushed the door open without knocking.
"Doctor Yang, is Sister Lu not feeling well? Why did she come here again today?" Su Jin looked at Yang Ya and asked.
"Sister Wang, Da Wa pushed Sister Lu down a few days ago. I suggested that she come for a check-up as much as possible in the next two months." Yang Ya said directly.
Da Wa's mother was anxious and wanted to plead with Su Jin at home.
"Doctor Yang, my eldest son was beaten at home, and Teacher Su is nowhere to be seen," the eldest son's mother said to Doctor Wang, "Doctor Wang, why don't you plead for the eldest son and ask Teacher Su to stop pursuing the eldest son."
"Sister Wang, you're forcing me to do something so difficult. We don't even know if the child is healthy, and you're still thinking about asking for mercy?" Wang Ya was puzzled. "Shouldn't you be thinking about how to get it over with?"
Da Wa's mother wanted to persuade her, but was ruthlessly driven away by Wang Ya.
Su Jin walked back with the list, but was stopped at the corner by the young nurse.
"Teacher Su, you need to rest and rest now. Don't get angry." The nurse hurriedly persuaded Su Jin, "Sister-in-law Wang is here. She's in Doctor Wang's room."
Su Jin hummed and kindly sat at the nurse's station.

Today, Su Jin came to do the inspection by herself for the first time and stamped ten orders at the price mark.

The nurse saw the military wife come in for a checkup for the first time. "You must insist on coming every month for a prenatal checkup."
Su Jin nodded and agreed: "Thank you for your reminder."
After saying that, Su Jin took a stack of documents and went to Dr. Wang's office. She reached out and knocked on the door.
"Come in!" Wang Ya's voice came from inside the door. She looked up and saw Su Jin coming, and breathed a sigh of relief. "Did Teacher Su run into Mrs. Wang outside?"
"I sat at the nurse's station for a while, and the young nurse helped me check if there was anything missing from the list." Su Jin said truthfully.
Wang Ya took over the list and looked through the results of all the inspections, and her heart, which had been hanging in the balance for several days, finally settled down.
"Teacher Su, the child is very healthy and should not be affected. You must be extra careful for the next two months." Wang Ya informed Su Jin of the things to pay attention to. "I'll put the food restrictions on the medical records. Please be extra careful when you eat at home."
Su Jin nodded, took the medical record and prepared to go home.
"Doctor Wang, go to work. It's only a 10-minute walk from the clinic to home. It's daytime now, and the patrol team is walking back and forth in the hospital." Su Jin comforted Wang Ya. She didn't want to trouble others. "Ayi can't accompany me in the future. You can just come to me when you go to work."
Wang Ya couldn't persuade Su Jin, so she had to send her out of the hospital. She watched her back as she walked away before turning back.
Su Jin was walking under the trees in the compound. When the team members passed by Su Jin, they all greeted her.
The team members all like this gentle military wife. She speaks slowly and calmly, unlike some other military wives who are so unreasonable.
