Early Thursday morning, Lu Shiyi came back from the cafeteria with breakfast and switched shifts with Lin Zitao to take Su Jin to work.
"Wife, I'm taking you to work today!" Lu Shiyi, dressed in his training uniform, placed breakfast on the table. "It's my second class today, and I heard my sister-in-law mention that the male teachers at school keep staring at the new teacher!"
"You want to take me to work?" Su Jin held the multi-grain steamed bun in her left hand and paused for a moment while picking up some food with her right hand. "As long as it doesn't delay your work, that's good."
"I've arranged it. After dinner, go and pack up." Lu Shiyi smiled and comforted her. "Didn't you buy fruit candy from the supply and marketing cooperative as a reward yesterday?"
"It would be better if someone helps me hold the bag." Su Jin chuckled. She bought some candy as a small reward for the exam.
After Su Jin had breakfast, she hurried to the study to pack up the things she would need for the day and put the papers and candy in her bag.
He finished the rest of his breakfast, put the dishes in the kitchen, and went back to the bedroom to change into a new training uniform.
Su Jin was wearing an iron-gray coat. When Lu Shiyi came out, he took her bag and talked to her as they walked.
"Wife, what time do you get off work today? I'll pick you up and take you home." Lu Shiyi put his schoolbag into the cart basket, kicked open the handlebars, and waited in the cart's place.
"get out of class ends at 10:45. I can leave school at 11 after I pack up." Su Jin waited for him to get on the bike, supporting it with her left foot. "Wait for me at the school gate."

The news that Su Jin was married and a military wife spread throughout the campus on the first day of school, and many teachers returned home disappointed.
Uncle Wang has been a school janitor for decades. After looking at Lu Shiyi, he looked at the two of them with a smile in his eyes.
"Uncle, this is my wife. She will come to pick me up from get off work today. You can let her in to see me then." Su Jin said to Uncle Wang with a smile.
Uncle Wang nodded: "Okay, Teacher Su has good taste."
Lu Shiyi took out a few pieces of milk candy from the pocket of his training uniform. Su Jin had prepared them because she was worried that he would have hypoglycemia due to the heavy training. Uncle Wang's praise made him happy.

"The young couple is really a perfect match." Uncle Wang chuckled, "Go in quickly, and then tell your wife to go back to work quickly so that she won't delay work."
Lu Shiyi accompanied Su Jin all the way into the campus. Many children from the staff quarters came over to greet him, and Lu Shiyi had a rare smile on his face.

The two walked into the corridor and heard the bell for morning self-study. The sound of children reading aloud came into their ears.
Su Jin pushed open the back door of the office and Lu Shiyi accompanied her in. The teachers in the office all looked towards the door.
"Teacher Su, you're late today." Gong Li chuckled, "Is this your lover?"
"My husband, Lu Shiyi, is an active-duty soldier. Today he has the rare time to take me to work and show me the office." Su Jin introduced Lu Shiyi to everyone.
"Xiao Jin has a cheerful personality and speaks directly, which may offend everyone. Please bear with me." Lu Shiyi put his bag on her desk and spoke while staring at the male teachers.
Under the influence of his gaze, the male teachers all agreed with a fake smile.

"You should go back to work soon. Remember to pick me up after get off work." Su Jin smiled and pushed Lu Shiyi out quickly.
"Okay, get to work." Lu Shiyi gave some instructions and turned and left.
After Lu Shiyi left, Gong Li looked at her with a smile on her face.
"Teacher Su, does your wife have a younger brother?" Gong Li found that Lu Shiyi had a good temperament and conversation, and wanted to introduce her to her sister-in-law.
