After washing the dishes, Gao Shujing took Duofu, who was bundled up tightly, and prepared to go out. Duolu clung to Gao Shujing's leg and wouldn't let go: "Uncle, I want to go, I want to catch field frogs, and bring back lots of them."

Duofu silently watched the ugly thing jumping around in the bag, and for the first time had doubts about his uncle and aunt. But when he thought of the good food his aunt usually brought them, the little guy dismissed his doubts.
The uncle and nephew worked together and caught seven field frogs in less than half an hour. Each frog weighed more than a pound. They didn't want the smaller ones and released them.
The seven frogs weigh a total of ten pounds, enough for them to eat for one meal. If they're not full, they can come back tomorrow.
Yu Rujia had just taken the three little ones back to their room after their bath when she saw the uncle and nephew return: "Why are you back so soon? Are there so many field frogs in the paddy field?"
She originally thought the uncle and nephew wouldn't be back for two hours, but they didn't even take an hour to get back and forth. With so many frogs croaking, it was impossible that there weren't any field frogs. The only possibility was that there were just a lot of field frogs.
Gao Shujing came up to her carrying a bag, and because of his action, several frog croaks came from the bag.
Gao Shujing laughed and said, "There are indeed a lot. The team members don't eat this stuff, so it's a good deal for us."
Yu Rujia asked happily, "How many did you catch?"
Gao Shujing: "Seven of them, each weighing over a pound. We can eat them during the day tomorrow and then go catch more tonight."
Yu Rujia: "Great! So many field frogs! We'll have a whole frog feast for lunch tomorrow! Stir-fried field frogs, field frog and lean pork soup, spicy field frogs, salt and pepper field frogs—we'll have them all!"
Gao Shujing's lips curled up: "Okay, tell me how to do it, and I'll make the arrangements. We'll eat our fill tomorrow."
When the three little ones heard the sound, they knew that their uncle and older brother had returned. They put on their shoes and ran out to check the bag.
Yu Rujia quickly stopped them: "The frogs in the field jump around a lot. If we open the bag, they will run away and we won't have anything to eat tomorrow. So let's not watch them today and just eat something delicious tomorrow."
She didn't want to boil water for them to bathe anymore.
