Chapter 19 The Mysterious Woman in His Dreams on His Wedding Night

The moment he opened his eyes, a familiar face came into view, and he exclaimed, "Chu Yu!"

Standing by the bed, Chu Yu's eyes lit up when she saw him wake up: "You're awake, that's great."

Fu Yunche then realized that he had just had another nightmare.

He reached up and wiped the cold sweat from his forehead, about to let out a long sigh of relief, when he suddenly realized that his other hand was tightly gripping Chu Yu's hand. He was startled, immediately let go, and the tips of his ears turned bright red.

"Feel sorry!"

He apologized awkwardly.

Chu Yu smiled and reassured him, "It's alright. When I was meditating just now, I suddenly sensed that you were trapped in a nightmare, and the evil energy around you was surging. I was worried that something might happen to you, so I used a talisman to dispel the evil energy around you and help you wake up as soon as possible."

She glanced at the talisman in her hand. The talisman had dispelled the evil energy, but its spiritual power was exhausted, and it quickly turned to ashes.

Chu Yu looked at his pale face, her gaze darkening, and asked, "You often have nightmares, don't you?"

Fu Yunche didn't hide anything from her and nodded: "Yes! Over the years, I've often been trapped in the same dream."

The dream he just had has been repeated countless times over the years, and it always ends with him falling into immense pain and despair.

Chu Yu thought for a moment and guessed, "The reason you're stuck in the same dream is because you still have an obsession in your heart."

Fu Yunche was taken aback.

Is the obsession still there?

In reality, he had never been to that palace, nor had he ever seen the woman in his dream, so what was his obsession with her?

"How can something in a dream become an obsession when you've never experienced it in reality?"

Chu Yu thought for a moment and said meaningfully, "If the obsession in the past life is too deep, that thought will still remain in the consciousness after reincarnation and will appear in dreams."

Fu Yunche's expression changed slightly.

A past life?

Did he have some grudge or entanglement with that woman in his past life?

The woman said she was leaving, and asked if I would dream of her again.

A sense of confusion suddenly arose in his heart.
