Chapter 3: The Ghostly Enchanted World, The Trapped Prince

Chu Yu glanced at Song Ze and said bluntly, "You've been wandering around here for a long time, haven't you?"

How did you know?

Song Ze was somewhat surprised. He thought of the news broadcast on the radio earlier about the murderer on the run, and his gaze towards Chu Yu became wary.

Chu Yu quickly explained, "I meant no harm. The reason you can't get out is because you've encountered a ghost maze, also known as a ghost wall."

Song Ze and Fu Yunche were both taken aback.

Song Ze retorted, "Little girl, you've watched too many ghost movies. There are no ghosts in this world, and there's no such thing as being trapped in a ghost wall. You have to believe in science."

Chu Yu didn't argue with him and said directly, "I came here to deliver food, but my electric scooter ran out of power and I can't drive it back. Let's make a deal: you give me a ride, and I'll take you out. How about it?"

Hearing this, Song Ze raised an eyebrow and asked suspiciously, "You're not just making this up to hitch a ride, are you?"

Chu Yu's gaze turned serious: "Without me leading the way, you will not be able to get out and will only be trapped here to die. Believe it or not."

Song Ze, a staunch materialist, did not believe it and was about to refute it when Fu Yunche, sitting in the back seat, suddenly said, "Let her get in the car."

He wanted to see what tricks this little girl was up to.

Chu Yu looked towards Fu Yunche in the car.

Fu Yunche was dressed in a custom-made black suit. He was tall and handsome, with a sickly pale complexion and a pair of beautiful peach blossom eyes that were deep and cold, exuding an aloof aura that kept strangers at bay.

He was like a sickly noble young master who stepped out of a comic book, refined, aloof, and unapproachable.

Chu Yu was amazed.

She's really good-looking.

She had seen him before in financial news; he was Fu Yunche, the president of the Fu Group, known as the "Prince of Beijing Circle."

I heard that he was ruthless and decisive. He had served in the army and rose to the rank of general in just a few years. He later retired to go home and inherit the family business.

He is a powerful figure and a legendary figure in both the business and political spheres.

The driver was his assistant, Song Ze, who is also a very outstanding person.

Chu Yu quickly noticed Fu Yunche's fortune. He was surrounded by purple aura, which was an extremely noble destiny. However, the purple aura was severely corroded by black evil energy, and it faintly revealed a deathly aura. It seemed that his life was not long.

She secretly lamented that such good fortune and appearance would lead to an untimely death; it was truly a pity.

Fu Yunche noticed the strange look in her eyes and narrowed his gaze slightly: "What are you looking at?"

Caught red-handed, Chu Yu coughed awkwardly and said, "You're good-looking."

Fu Yunche: "..."

Song Ze sighed, oh well, yet another infatuated woman captivated by Master Fu's good looks.

Afterwards, Fu Yunche asked Song Ze to get out of the car and help Chu Yu put the electric scooter in the trunk. The electric scooter was small enough to fit perfectly.

Chu Yu opened the car door and sat down in the back seat. At that moment, a refreshing breeze, like a spring breeze, rushed into Fu Yunche's body, sweeping away his fatigue and drowsiness and giving him renewed energy.

Fu Yunche's eyes flashed with surprise. What was going on?

He couldn't help but turn to look at Chu Yu. The little girl sat obediently. Although she was wearing a delivery uniform, she had an extraordinary temperament. She had fair skin and was very beautiful, especially her big, clear, and bright eyes, which were like stars.

Those eyes looked vaguely familiar, but upon closer inspection, I couldn't place them.

Chu Yu noticed his scrutinizing gaze, looked up at him, and their eyes met instantly. Fu Yunche was stunned for a moment, then awkwardly looked away, his ears burning slightly.

After Song Ze returned to the driver's seat, he looked at Chu Yu and asked teasingly, "Little girl, didn't you say you would lead the way? So which way are we going now?"

Chu Yu glanced ahead and said calmly, "Just drive forward."

Song Ze said "Oh" and drove the car forward. He thought to himself, "What nonsense about being trapped in a wall? It's obviously made up. I'll see how she proves me wrong later."

The car continued driving forward, the surrounding black fog grew thicker and thicker, and a chilling wind blew. Suddenly, a roar of a ferocious beast rang out, and a huge black panther rushed out from the front, baring its teeth and claws as it pounced on the car.

Song Ze was startled and hurriedly turned the steering wheel, causing the car to drift sharply and throw the black panther off.

Song Ze glanced back. The black panther was several times larger than an ordinary cheetah, with sharp fangs and a mouth full of blood. It was ferocious and terrifying. He screamed in fright, "Holy crap! It really is a black panther!"

How come there's a black panther here? Did it escape from the zoo?

Before he could think it through, the black panther leaped up and chased after him, startling Song Ze so much that he quickly stepped on the gas and sped forward.

The black panther was incredibly fast and relentlessly pursued Song Ze. He tried to shake it off, but to his horror, one black panther after another suddenly emerged from the black mist and chased after the car.

Their eyes were bloodshot, and they roared fiercely, like demons, sending chills down your spine.

Song Ze was terrified, shouting anxiously, "Oh my god, how did so many black panthers suddenly appear! Mom, hurry, hurry, faster..."

He slammed on the gas, accelerating wildly, and the car sped uncontrollably down the road.

"Song Ze, Song Ze..."

In his panic, a voice suddenly came, and before he could react, a brick suddenly flew over and hit him on the forehead with a loud crack.

A sharp pain shot through his forehead, instantly waking him up.

He opened his eyes and saw that the black panther in front of him had disappeared, and the car was crashing into an oil factory across the street at an extremely high speed.

Song Ze's pupils dilated violently. He hurriedly turned the steering wheel, but the steering wheel malfunctioned, and his heart jumped into his throat.

Oh my god, we're going to crash!!!

At the critical moment, a powerful force suddenly struck, violently pulling the front of the car to one side. The car made a sharp turn and came to a stop just before crashing into the wall.

After the car stopped, Song Ze slumped into his seat, covered in cold sweat, panting heavily.

That oil mill is full of tanks of oil; if a car crashes into it, it will explode immediately, resulting in the destruction of the vehicle and the death of the inhabitants.

This is a narrow escape from death.

That was close!

Fu Yunche, sitting in the back seat of the car, also changed his expression, and cold sweat broke out on his forehead.

Just now, Song Ze suddenly went berserk, accelerating violently as if he couldn't hear anything. He drove the car violently toward the oil factory. If the car hadn't suddenly turned and braked in time, they would have been blown up and burned to ashes by now.

He composed himself and asked coldly, "Song Ze, what just happened to you?"

Song Ze came to his senses, wiped the cold sweat from his forehead, still shaken, and recounted what had just happened.

Fu Yunche's gaze turned cold.

Chu Yu explained with a serious expression: "Song Ze was affected by the illusion array and hallucinated, which is why he did such a dangerous thing."

"That was just a hallucination?!"

Song Ze exclaimed in surprise, those terrifying black panthers were so realistic, and even now, thinking about them still makes his heart pound.

He turned to look at Chu Yu and asked, "Did you wake me up? Was that really a ghost wall?"
