Awakening, Chaos Seeks Pangu

The primordial chaos vanished, and chaos emerged. But has the mother entity that gave birth to chaos disappeared?

He awoke because there was no longer any primordial energy for him to cultivate; he awoke because the Primordial Purple Lotus now completely belonged to him; he awoke because his cultivation had reached a bottleneck.

After countless ages of cultivation in the primordial chaos, he has mastered the Primordial Purple Gold Technique to the fifth level, and his strength is comparable to that of the Heavenly Dao, but he has not yet attained the Heavenly Dao.

"I was asleep throughout the entire Primordial Chaos, so I'm going to explore this chaotic space properly," he said to himself silently. After saying that, he flew into the distance, but instead of turning into purple light.

Chaos has no passage of time, no transformation of space, no vibrant colors; it is only turbid, as turbid as gray, and as viscous as a substance.

He wandered aimlessly through the chaos, but he was utterly alone. For a thousand years, or even a billion years, he had not seen a single living creature.

"Ah!" he roared, venting his loneliness and discontent. Looking at the empty chaos, he finally understood why Pangu would rather perish than not create the world. "Right, Pangu," he thought, "I must save him, and forge a brotherhood." And so he sat, and sat, and then, in a grand way, he fell asleep again.

While fast asleep, he had a strange dream. It was in a beautiful little garden, with many people gathered in a circle. What was in the middle piqued his curiosity, so he floated over and saw a girl hugging a boy. He saw the boy and his familiar face, but the boy was lifeless. He was puzzled. Why was the girl hugging a dead person? Even though the boy's face was just as handsome as his, he was still confused. When he raised his head to look at the girl, suddenly, everything that had been clear became blurry and then disappeared.

The moment the dream vanished, he awoke. He discovered that the chaos had changed, gaining a touch of color, a hint of life. He stood up and drifted into the distance, searching for its elder brother—Pangu.

He followed the primordial energy and flew into the distance. Finding Pangu in the directionless chaos was difficult, but he was not discouraged, for he knew Pangu lay deep within the chaos. He saw color, but he knew it couldn't be Pangu, because the eggshell that gave birth to Pangu was colorless, yet he still went towards it.

Another tree appeared, a verdant tree, its height and size unknown, its enormous canopy obscuring its trunk, which stretched for miles. The entire tree radiated a verdant glow, interspersed with glimpses of red, yellow, white, and purple—a multitude of colors. Hanging from its vast canopy were countless fruits: the Thirty-Six Grade Green Lotus, Laurel, Yellow Bell Plum, Gourd Root, Hibiscus Tree, Nine-Branched Bodhi Tree, Twelve-Grade White Lotus, Ginseng Fruit Tree, Ten-Thousand-Year-Old Peaches, Five Elements Fruit Tree, Star Tree, Myriad Calamities Fruit, and so on. "What about the Nine-Branched Bodhi Tree and the Twelve-Grade White Lotus? Are they Jieyin and Zhunti?" Never mind, dig them up first. He summoned Qianhuan and charged towards the Chaos Spiritual Root. I dug and dug! The Bodhi tree multiplied into seven branches, the white lotus into nine, and I took a section of the main root, several feet long, of everything that was available: the yellow plum, the ginseng fruit, the star tree, the peaches of immortality, the myriad kalpas, and so on. Of course, I also dug up the most conspicuous thirty-six-petaled blue lotus. He walked along, grinning foolishly, "I'm rich! I'm rich! I've dug up the corner of the Great Dao!" It was a pity he didn't see the Primordial Purple Qi; otherwise, he could have taken dozens of strands to give to his disciples to play with. Thinking this, he sighed deeply.

"Pangu, elder brother, where are you? How can I find you? Never mind, never mind, we'll meet again if fate allows." Wait, never mind, haha, he sat cross-legged, circulating the Heavenly Vision and Earthly Hearing Soul-Searching Technique. After a long while, he finally discovered a place with extremely dense chaotic energy, its density comparable to a chaotic spiritual root! Instantly, he let out a ghostly cry and transformed into a stream of purple light, shooting towards that place. Chaos doesn't remember years, so he didn't know how long he flew, but in his eyes, it had been a very, very long time. His old spiritual treasures and clothes were worn to shreds. When he finally reached the edge of the egg after much hardship and danger, he smiled happily, because he was certain that Pangu was inside, the great god Pangu who created the world and perished. Only, the current Pangu hadn't been born yet; he was absorbing chaotic spiritual energy, awaiting his rebirth.

"Brother, I've come. I will wait for you until your birth," the Monkey King said softly, gazing at the giant cocoon of light before him. The cocoon responded with a slight tremor.

He sat cross-legged beside Pangu, staring at him in a daze. He understood that although his elder brother's creation of the world was a great achievement, the Heavenly Dao would not allow any being to surpass him. Therefore, at the moment of the creation of the world again, he would surely be punished by Heaven. How could he resolve the crisis that followed? In terms of strength, he was comparable to the Heavenly Dao; in terms of magical treasures, he possessed the Primordial Spiritual Treasure. However, would having only one supreme offensive treasure be insufficient? Moreover, he needed to reserve some resources for himself. The Spirit Realm and the Purple Lotus could not be revealed to the public. Would only the Thousand Illusions and the Azure Lotus remain as viable options? It was said that Chaos was full of treasures. Even an inanimate object would become a treasure after hundreds of millions of years in Chaos, let alone a living person like himself. Talk was cheap, so he decided to take action.

He stood up and stood in mid-air, activating the Primordial Purple Gold Technique. Instantly, a black hole was created, and the surrounding energy gathered wildly. He controlled the chaotic spiritual energy to swirl, swirl, settle, settle, and compress on the surface of his body. Hundreds of millions of years passed, and another giant egg was created in the chaos. In this way, the two giant eggs emitted unparalleled energy to impact this newborn chaos.

The transformation from quantitative to qualitative change will be proven here. One of the light cocoons rapidly shrinks, then rapidly expands again. The resulting spatial collapse blurs and obscures its center. Once the space quiets down, a humanoid frame floats in the air, appearing so forlorn in this desolate space. The Chaos Armor, a supreme treasure of chaos, covered the entire body, including a helmet (with two foot-long horns), breastplate, battle skirt, arm armor, leg armor (each elbow and knee had half-foot-long spikes, and five finger-length daggers on the back of the hands), and a pair of wings—the left being the Wing of Heaven and the right the Wing of Earth (with a gentle flap, the Wing of Heaven and Earth could cover millions of miles in an instant; it could also absorb and convert energy). It was practically born for battle! As the Great Sage Equaling Heaven carefully examined his armor, another cocoon of light began to vibrate. The vibrations grew larger and larger, quickly engulfing the area. The wings swiftly moved away from that area, and simultaneously, cracks appeared on the cocoon of light, quickly spreading throughout it, shattering it into pieces that vanished into the chaos. When the chaotic spiritual energy replenished it, a giant standing proudly at nine thousand nine hundred and ninety-nine feet tall appeared—this was Pangu, the Pangu who created heaven and earth. He carried a massive axe tens of thousands of feet long on his back, and a hazy blue disc swirled above his head; these were none other than the Pangu Axe and the Creation Disc.

The Pangu Axe possesses the power to split the heavens and earth and traverse the void. It was created to create the world and is a sacred artifact of chaos.

The Creation Disc was formed after the Primordial Jade Disc was damaged. It contains the most profound laws of the Great Dao. If an ordinary person encounters it, their five orifices will open wide, and they can become an immortal or a saint.

Pangu looked at the humanoid machine in the distance and said, "Brother, I'm sorry to have troubled you. You've waited for me for billions of years until I am born."

"Big brother, you're finally out. It's good that you're out, it's good that you're out," he repeated over and over, his eyes filled with tears.
