Chapter 563

“Phi seems to have lost control. He’s easily swayed by his emotions. Right now, he must be very flustered and filled with immense anger. He’s always been like this.”

Without a doubt, the mysterious person knew her companion very well, perhaps even better than she did. The mysterious person referred to her companion as "Fei."

Then Jelu turned around to look at her companions' battle and found that the current attacker, Firsa, was launching an unusually fierce offensive.

His movement speed was much faster than before. All that was in front of Jielu's eyes was a dazzling light, and she could no longer see his movements, when he turned, when he went straight, whether he was circling or ascending or descending. All she knew was that he was going berserk.

The mysterious man believed that rather than Philsa teleporting by his own will, it was more accurate to say that he was being pulled around by a magical force, like a puppet being manipulated and swaying about.

Undoubtedly, Philsa completely dodged the continuous blades of the Continuous Blade, and not only that, she was more than capable of launching a preemptive attack in the slightest gaps. Soon, the Continuous Blade could no longer restrain Philsa.

It was unclear what time it was at this point. The crimson hurricane was instantly sliced apart by the aurora. The twin blades of the Continue Blade were both broken by the aurora, and fragments scattered all around, with one sharp blade almost piercing Jielu's feet.

Philsa swooped upwards and hovered in mid-air, his momentum undiminished. Xu Ren drew his last dagger, laughing maniacally as he leaped into the air to confront him. After three rounds, the two engaged in a final close-quarters battle with their weapons.

No one could see Xu Ren in the night sky, only the aurora borealis shimmering wildly.

For the first time, Jelu was afraid of Philsa, afraid that he would not recognize his companions, would not recognize his surroundings, would lose himself, and forget his most important goal, just like falling into the demonic path.

Blood splattered down from the sky, staining the scarred streets. She hadn't seen it clearly at first because of the darkness, but gradually realized it later.

First came tiny specks of blood foam, then splattered blood droplets, and finally, patches of blood bloomed on the ground.

That... wasn't blood from Fei's injury, not at all.

Xu Ren did not harm a single hair on his head in this battle.

The mysterious man looked up at the sky and made this judgment, which Jielu also felt was probably correct.

"The enemy... has been dead for quite some time now."

"What? The battle is over? But Philsa is still fighting Xu Ren in mid-air!" Jelu asked in surprise. The mysterious man pointed to the sky, "Haven't you noticed? The enemy's venomous demonic aura has long since dissipated."

"But……"

Before Jielu could finish speaking, something fell from the sky.

Upon closer inspection, it was discovered to be the corpse of a man covered in bright red wounds, already dead. Aurora remained suspended in mid-air, but still showed no sign of giving up.

Felsa's hand gathered a cold light, condensing it into an ice spear. Before the corpse hit the ground, he hurled it at it with all his might.

The ice spear pierced through Xu Ren's chest, causing him to plummet to the ground. With a "thud," he didn't even move.

Several more flashes of cold light appeared in Philsa's hand as he hurled a series of ice spears, piercing the corpses and leaving them a bloody mess. More than a dozen spears were left embedded in the ground, buried along with the continuing blade.

She was relieved that the person who had died on the ground was not her companion, but she was still terrified of her companion—because Philsa showed no sign of stopping until now!

He crashed into other buildings and flew high into the air. Jelu called out her companion's name, but received no response.

He glided through the air, expending his remaining stamina and magic. But no one knew whether, before that, he might harm innocent bystanders…

"He'll only stop when his magic is exhausted. But if we don't stop him now, the consequences will be unimaginable!" After saying this, the mysterious man seemed about to make a move, but as soon as Gerald heard this, she drew her knife and was about to rush towards her companion.

She had regained much of her strength; her headache was much better, and she could barely fight. Regardless of the outcome, as long as she could stop Philsa, that was her plan.

Unexpectedly, the mysterious man immediately intervened and stopped her, saying, "You don't need to harm your companion. I'll handle this myself."

“But…” Jelu was afraid that he would hurt Philsa.

"It's alright, he won't be hurt. He's my student." The mysterious man rolled up his sleeves and strode forward, explaining, "You can call me Mr. Saint-Fee, Fei's teacher. He's always been like this, prone to losing control, because Fei has half demonic blood flowing through his veins. The enemy's blade seems to be coated with poison, which has actually accelerated the boiling of his demonic blood."

Philsa's teacher was also a martial artist who manipulated ice.

He conjured an ice sword in his hand, seemingly preparing for battle. However, Jelu guessed wrong; Mr. Saint-Fees hurled the ice sword, aiming it directly at the aurora borealis in mid-air.

Philsa easily dodged, only to find the ice sword turning back to attack him again.

At this moment, Mr. Saint Fess conjured a second sword and threw it as well. Five swords in a row spun in mid-air, together restraining the out-of-control Philsa.

Previously, Xu Ren used two swords to create a blade hurricane that suppressed Felsa;

Meanwhile, Saint Fess wielded five swords. White light flashed wildly in the air. The only difference was that the latter did not intend to take his life, but rather to restrain him as much as possible, controlling Philsa's range of movement like a vortex, making him unable to pay attention to his surroundings. He could only exhaust his physical strength and magic power to dodge in the sword array until he was completely worn out.

Saint Fess's sword also gleamed with the aurora borealis, as six shooting stars streaked across the night sky. Jelu prayed inwardly that her companion would stop, while simultaneously worrying that Saint Fess's sword might harm him.

After an unknown amount of time, Philsa's speed finally slowed down, and he finally crashed to the ground. The gentleman retrieved the five ice swords and ran with Jelu across the path where the aurora had landed.
