Sedira's rapier pierced through Van's right arm.
The wound was nearly ten centimeters deep, with the tip of the sword even reaching the collarbone, at which point a large amount of blood gushed out.
Despite using magic to harden his body, Van still couldn't completely withstand the fierce stabbing.
Sadila found that her sword was embedded in the enemy's hardened muscles and could neither be pulled out nor penetrate any further.
Van seemed completely oblivious to the pain, grinning sinisterly at Sadila. He gripped the sword with his left hand, and the flames traveled from his palm to the blade, igniting the entire metal rapier.
Because the flames were enhanced by magic, they were much more intense than ordinary fire, instantly oxidizing the metal into charcoal.
The intense heat transferred from the blade to the hilt, feeling like burning coals, causing Sadila to loosen her grip and take a few steps back.
In the blink of an eye, the blade of the rapier was charred and dulled, rendering it unusable.
Fan pulled out the rapier embedded in his shoulder, his left palm, which had touched the blade, was covered in bright red blood.
But he threw the rapier next to Sadila, returning the charred weapon to his opponent.
Having lost his weapon, Sadila retreated to a corner of the barrier, to the right and slightly in front of Vanexor. At that moment, he finally understood what fear truly meant—a feeling he had never experienced from any enemy since joining the army.
From behind him, Van Rexor propped his head up with his hand, watching the duel, and faced the persecuted Sadila with a very eerie smile.
It seemed he already knew the outcome.
Undeterred, Fan approached his opponent while unwrapping the cloth from his right arm, revealing a fiery red mark.
Sadila felt a sense of foreboding: "This is... an emblem!"
As far as he knew, only Princess Priscilla possessed this kind of phantom power emblem.
However, I recently heard that the new captain of the Silver Knights, Alphonse, also seems to have such a mark. I never expected that the arrogant young man who caused me to suffer today would also have it!
The emblem illuminates the flames to their brightest extent, transforming them into an extremely pure white flame. As is well known, the closer the color of a flame generated by magic is to white, the more refined, pure, and hot it is, with fewer impurities.
The flames, as intense as the daytime sun, were controlled by Brahma's hands.
Brahma channeled his magic, imbuing it into his body, instantly increasing his strength and agility.
He unleashed a barrage of punches at Sadila, who was cornered.
The punch was accompanied by scorching sparks. Although Sadila was able to dodge such a fierce attack, she still couldn't help but get a graze on her cheek from the sparks.
Fortunately, he was agile, and the enemy's vicious punches, intended to kill him, had not yet touched him at all.
But he could still faintly smell the burning smell of the flames burning his beard.
With no other weapons in his hands, Sadila could only rely on the nearly burned rapier lying on the ground.
He prayed that the sword would still work, even if only for a fraction of its purpose. But at that moment, he had no time to think about anything else; the oncoming fist attack left him completely unable to concentrate.
Sadila shifted backward until his heel struck the sword on the ground. The opportunity had arrived. With a quick sidestep, he grabbed Van's arm with a claw-like grip, catching Van's punch and slightly halting his opponent's attack. But then he smelled the burning odor emanating from his own palm.
The instant that Van's fierce attack stopped, Sedila suddenly pulled her hand away, bent over, and picked up her sword from the ground.
Sadila seemed to see a glimmer of hope for victory. Fortunately, the tip of the sword was not damaged, and its sharpness remained.
So this time, with all his might, he thrust his sword toward Brahma's heart. He chose the heart instead of the head because it would give him a greater chance of success.
Over the decades, far more enemy soldiers have died on the battlefield from having their hearts pierced by his hands than from having their heads pierced.
He had his sights set on his opponent's vital point, but suddenly felt a sharp pain in his chest.
Just as he was about to achieve victory, it seemed as if some sharp hidden weapon pierced through his body.
No, that's not right, that doesn't seem to be a hidden weapon, so what is it...?
Before Sadila could even look down, he discovered the "hidden weapon" that had pierced through his heart—a beam of light as thin as the rapier in his hand!
It passed through and broke the ribs only one centimeter away from the heart without any obstruction, and everything that the light touched turned into powder.
As for the source of the light... he didn't need to guess anymore; sitting behind Sadila was none other than Vanrexor!
His movements slowed due to the pain, which Fan saw through, and Fan seized the blade. Blood oozed from Fan's right palm, and with a forceful pull, he broke the fragile sword.
Sadila immediately abandoned the attack, turned to the side, and moved her right shoulder forward to protect her chest from becoming the target of the opponent's powerful punch.
His right shoulder inevitably came into contact with Brahma's fiery left fist.
The pain of being shattered and destroyed swept over half of my nerves.
It felt as if fire was burning inside her body, and with her head buzzing, Sadila could almost hear her bones and muscles groaning in anguish.
"Ughhhhhh—" He finally couldn't help but let out a desperate scream.
The excruciating pain from the shattering sensation in his right shoulder and the entire shoulder area almost numbed his mind.
His right shoulder could no longer maintain its shape and collapsed; it is estimated that the skeleton in that area has been reduced to fragments.
Upon seeing this, Wang Jun's other soldiers immediately stood up in anger, pierced the barrier with their swords, and ran forward to help their seriously injured commander.
Wang Jun's chief of staff, Ike, a subordinate of Sadila, had long seen through Van Rexor's sneak attack on the commander and vehemently condemned his despicable behavior.
