Alphonse suddenly realized, "I understand now. I should have realized it much earlier..."
"Secondly, Alphonse, please head north as soon as possible. I wish to return to the Bliza Snowfield one last time before my life candle goes out. This is my final wish."
With tears in his eyes, he agreed, "No problem! My regiment will set off immediately at dawn tomorrow!"
Alphonse and Desfield huddled close together, basking in the warmth of their kinship, oblivious to the howling winds of the cave. They shared the same bloodline, a bond even stronger than that between a human mother and child.

The first rays of sunlight of the following day rose from the distant eastern horizon, illuminating the hazy sky. The Silver Knights were ready to set out.
Alphonse was already in his armor, his eyes gleaming. Last night's events had given him much to think about, and he had come to accept the fact that Daisy was about to die. He gazed northward.
As they were about to set off, Finchley ran up to them.
As he was about to quietly report the situation in the army, Alphonse spoke first, asking, "Is Oliver there... If you see him, please apologize to him for me."
Finchley paused, mentioning Olivia—no, it should be Olivia, the captain probably doesn't know that she's a fake boy.
He nodded and then continued to report, "Commander, all the soldiers are ready, but Princess Priscilla is still nowhere to be found."
Alphonse remained silent for a long time before replying to Finchley, "We can't wait any longer, let's set off."
Then he instructed another knight: “Leave some symbols along the way so she can find it.”
Seeing the commander in such a hurry to set off, the burly Douglas, who was yawning repeatedly, felt something was amiss and cautiously asked, "Commander, is it really necessary to rush like this...?"
Alphonse turned his head, not reprimanding his subordinate for his sluggishness, for that was Douglas's usual behavior.
As soon as he sets out with his troops, he immediately becomes more serious than anyone else.
Alphonse then said seriously, "The answer we seek lies in the northernmost part of the continent of Valentino."
The leader's cryptic reply left the Silver Clan members bewildered and puzzled.
Alphonse continued calmly, “What is the true significance of the Silver Army’s northward march? How can we realize our ideal of serving our country in our own way? What does Master mean by the ‘intrigue brewing in the kingdom’? Saint Londos told me last night that the northernmost part of the continent is ready to answer these questions.”
