But then we realized something was wrong. No matter where we went, we were still in the same place. We broke out in a cold sweat. "Oh no, we've walked into a ghost formation. This place was set up by a master, gathering the energy of wronged souls to form a space. We're in this space now."
I realized it too. This wasn't as simple as being trapped in a maze. It was a magic circle. The surrounding scenery was the same, and no matter which way we went, we were still in the same place. It was like an endless space where we would never reach the end, even if we walked until we died.
Xiang Fei tried to cast the talisman, but to his horror, it vanished without a trace.
I took out a copper coin to try and stabilize Yin and Yang, but I was horrified to find that the copper coin had also disappeared. It seemed that this was a chaotic void, and only the three of us could be seen, while everything else would disappear.

"This... we can't even do the most basic things, how are we supposed to get out?"
Then Xiang Fei tried several other methods, but all of them were useless. As for me, needless to say, after a long while we sat down on the ground in despair.

Then I simply blindfolded myself and had Xiang Fei and the black cat follow me. Relying on my imagination, I walked in the direction the smoke had gone.
A moment later, Xiang Fei's voice rang out, "We've made it out."
I breathed a sigh of relief, took off the blindfold, and opened my eyes to see that we had already come out and passed through a mountain of corpses.
We became even more cautious from then on, first using Taoist magic to explore the way before proceeding.
Suddenly, the black cat gestured for us to turn off our headlamps and be quiet, and whispered, "Those people should be coming in too."
Sure enough, a moment later we saw three flashlights shining not far behind us, and we heard footsteps; it must have been those three people.
I had heard Xiang Fei mention before that the leader of the three was the one who was involved in my father's case back then. His name was Zhang Wantian, and he was a well-known tomb raider in Guangdong. As for the other two, I had no idea.
We quietly circled around to the back of the mountain of corpses. As the footsteps drew closer, three people approached and said in thick Cantonese accents, "We're going to strike it rich this time. This place is an ancient divine land. If we obtain the immortal techniques, hehe, we'll live forever and be carefree and happy forever."
The other two nodded repeatedly, creating an odd feeling in such a place.
At this moment, Xiang Fei gestured for me to look behind them. At first, I didn't think anything of it, but when I looked closely, I was shocked to see that there were several shadows behind them, in addition to their own, there were three others.
I was sweating profusely. Where did these three people come from?
He was followed by three ghosts without even realizing it. Logically, this shouldn't be the case. Anyone who could rob a Shu tomb must have some skill, and Zhang Wantian had been inside the Shu tomb before. He wouldn't just let three ghosts follow him like that.
As they were pondering, the three of them had already walked past the mountain of corpses, and the three shadows behind them followed. Strangely, they were not affected by the illusion array.

To our surprise, the old blind man was unaffected by the illusion array. He simply walked around in place twice before emerging. However, we were too lazy to think about it too much and decided to take down the old man first.
When the old blind man came over, the three of us pounced on him and pinned him to the ground. First, we used our magic to punish him, and then we slapped him twice across the face. "Old blind man, you despicable scoundrel, let's see where you can run this time?"
The old blind man was stunned for a moment, and it took him a while to react. He immediately flew into a rage, "You bunch of devilish sons, why are you hitting me?"
"Why should I hit you? You old bastard, how dare you lie to us and try to kill us! Don't you think you deserve to be hit?" As I said this, Xiang Fei and I slapped the old blind man twice more, swelling up half of his face.
This time, the old blind man was truly enraged. "Damn it, do you think I'm easy to bully? When did I lie to you? When you came in, you bunch of bastards ran faster than dogs. I couldn't catch you, and you wouldn't answer when I called you. Now you beat me whenever you see me, damn it! I'm breaking off all ties with you!"
We looked at each other, wondering if this meant that the person at Wang Jian's coffin wasn't the old blind man.
Realizing something was wrong, we released the old blind man and let him tell us slowly. It turned out that when we came in, he went to relieve himself because he needed to. After he finished, he saw that the three of us had already walked ahead. No matter how we called him, he didn't respond and even ran ahead. By the time the old blind man caught up with us, we had already disappeared.
I wiped the cold sweat from my brow. "What happened?"

The old blind man had neither gold cloth nor divine bones on his body. After we checked him again, we finally dispelled our suspicions.
