Chapter 633

When we caught up, the driver had already crashed into a rock. His brains, white and splattered all over the ground, mixed with blood. His eyes were wide open, as if he had died with his eyes open, but he had a strange and inexplicable smile on his face, which made people's scalps tingle.

The sudden turn of events added a tense atmosphere to this already turbulent night, making our hearts heavy. This was just the beginning; we didn't know what would happen next, and all we could do was wait, waiting for the unpredictable events to unfold.

The passengers on the bus were terrified, huddled in their seats trembling, and cries echoed throughout the vehicle.

"Are we going to die?" asked the young tourist behind me.

"Don't worry, you'll be fine," I replied calmly. After all, this whole thing started because of us, and we dragged innocent people into it. Although we weren't directly responsible, I still felt guilty.

As the night deepened, a slight chilly wind began to blow outside, rustling the leaves, and the lights inside the bus grew even dimmer.

I checked the time; it was already past 1 a.m., and there was still no news from the front. It seemed that opening the road tonight was impossible. All I could do was wait and endure until dawn.

None of the tourists on the bus were able to sleep, which explains why such a thing happened; who could possibly fall asleep under such circumstances?

“Listen, there’s a sound,” Xiang Fei suddenly said.

I immediately listened intently, and sure enough, I heard a very faint rustling sound outside the car. Upon hearing this sound, both of us turned pale. The sound was very familiar; it was the sound of corpses crawling inside the Shu Tomb.

“It seems they’re well-prepared this time, determined to kill us both,” Xiang Fei said.

I glanced at the passengers in the car. "No matter what, let's not involve them. Tonight, let's give it our all. It's either us or them."

"Let's go, get out of the car. This isn't a good place for a magic duel," Xiang Fei stood up and patted my shoulder.

We got ready and got off the bus, but the tourists behind us grabbed us, saying, "What are you going to do? You can't leave now!"

"Don't worry, we're right outside. Remember, no matter what happens or what you see, don't worry about it. Just treat it as a dream. You'll be fine by dawn."

One hundred and twenty-six destroyed my Dao body

After I finished speaking, Xiang Fei and I went downstairs. It was pitch black and quiet outside, extremely quiet. The sound of the corpse crawling was gone.

Having activated my Yin-Yang eyes, I lit a ball of pine resin and threw it out. The faint light illuminated a small area in front of us, and with the help of the firelight, we saw that the ground was covered with densely packed corpses, all of them Qiang people. It was impossible to tell whether they were ancient corpses or modern ones.

"Hmph, what kind of skill is it to hide in the shadows? Come out, all of you," Xiang Fei sneered.

Footsteps sounded in the darkness, and several figures emerged. We recognized one of them, but not the other three.

There was Elder Tak, the old man from the ancient sacrificial site, and Takna. As for the last one, we sensed a dangerous aura emanating from him.

This person was completely shrouded in a long robe, with even his head covered by a hat. In a way, he resembled a Western wizard, with only his chin showing. He was also holding a staff-like stick, which was probably a ritual staff of the ancient Qiang people. This has rarely appeared in Chinese history and has only been seen among some ethnic minorities.

We all understand that this shaman must be the true mastermind behind the Qiang ethnic cult, or even the embodiment of evil.

"Who are you?" Xiang Fei asked, staring at the robed wizard.

"Who am I? I am a messenger from hell, the one who will take your lives, hehe! There are actually two Yin-Yang Feng Shui masters, no wonder they are so difficult to deal with, I have to take action myself. Yin-Yang masters, this is a Taoist tradition that has been passed down for thousands of years. We have fought each other many times in history, and you have always won. Unfortunately... this time you are destined to lose your lives here, because you are not Yin-Yang masters."

Without a doubt, Xiang Fei and I are currently at a disadvantage, both in terms of timing and manpower. Of course, the biggest threat to us is this mysterious wizard. His appearance has disrupted the natural order of things, and neither of us is confident that we can defeat him.

A cold wind blew up, and we saw the corpses around us begin to move. Elder Tucker and the others sat on the ground and began to perform a ritual.

Xiang Fei and I quickly began our ritual. I lit the Soul-Suppressing Lamp and placed it in the center, setting up a Yin-Yang magic array around it to prevent the Yin wind from blowing in. We also set up magic arrays around the bus. For safety, we set up three arrays in total. In addition to the most commonly used Yin-Yang magic array, the other two were our inherited secret techniques, which only a Ghost King or a fierce ghost that had cultivated for thousands of years could break.

Now we can relax and focus on the battle.

“I will preside over the ritual, and you will engage in the contest,” Xiang Fei said.

I nodded, of course I understood what Xiang Fei meant. With the two of them working together, the Taoist magic could be used even better.

"Yin and Yang are united, and all laws obey. The Yin and Yang Ancestors are above, please help your junior disciples to eliminate evil tonight." Xiang Fei and I bowed to the due east, and then we sat down back to back.

A chilling wind suddenly howled, as if a storm was brewing. The surroundings were plunged into an endless darkness, with no moon in sight, only a sky full of black mist, like hell itself, where vengeful ghosts roared and wronged spirits demanded their lives.

The other side was aggressive, and Xiang Fei and I could only calmly deal with them. The vengeful ghosts and spirits had already pounced on us, howling all around us. There were all sorts of terrifying faces, some blue-faced, some bleeding, and even some with the faces of children, all twisted and grotesque, baring their teeth and claws at us.
