The Medicine Buddha said, "Before I came, Namo Amitabha Buddha instructed me, 'The matter of our Buddhism's eastward expansion is something we ask the Tathagata Buddha to concern himself with.'" The Tathagata Buddha smiled slightly and said, "Namo Amitabha Buddha is thoughtful; in that case, this Buddha should also head east..."
