Guang Chengzi immediately returned to Kunlun Mountain and reported the matter to Yuanshi. Yuanshi was furious. "Xuantian has gone too far! Doesn't this make my Chan Sect look like it has no one to rely on?" Yuanshi then told Guang Chengzi to go back and focus on being his Imperial Tutor. He said he would settle the score with him later when the opportunity arose.
Meanwhile, Shennong was searching for the next human emperor. Upon hearing of Xuanyuan's name, he sent someone to invite Xuanyuan so that he could speak with him in person.
When Xuanyuan learned that Shennong wanted to see him, he was overjoyed and went to meet him.
When Shennong met Xuanyuan, he was delighted to see his handsome and robust appearance. He said, "I heard that a great sage has emerged from the Youxiong tribe, and I am very happy about that. I specially sent someone to invite him to meet me, and today I have seen that it is indeed so."
Xuanyuan also said, "I have long heard that the sovereign cultivates the five grains to feed the world, raises the six domestic animals to bring prosperity to the world, opens up trade channels to enrich the world, and makes elixirs to heal the world. He is a great sage in the primordial world after the Heavenly Emperor Fuxi. I have long admired him for a long time. Today, I have fulfilled my wish and I am very happy."
Shennong and Xuanyuan sat down, addressing each other as brothers. Both being among the Three Sovereigns ordained by Heaven, they naturally found common ground and chatted amiably. Shennong asked Xuanyuan some questions about the management of people's livelihoods, to which Xuanyuan answered fluently and eloquently. Shennong thought to himself that Guangchengzi could never have taught him these things, and thus asked with a hint of doubt, "Have you ever encountered any extraordinary people?"
Xuanyuan said, "I have been a disciple of Guangchengzi, a disciple of the Jade Purity Sage, since childhood. I am an extraordinary person." He saw that Shennong did not comment. He continued, "However, my teacher usually only taught me some martial arts. I was taught the management of people's livelihood by the Holy Maiden Huixin, a disciple of the Holy Father of Penglai Island."
Shennong was overjoyed upon hearing this and said, "Indeed, Emperor Fuxi was also taught by the Holy Maiden Huixin in his early years, which is why he achieved such success. Now, my virtuous brother has received the help of the Holy Maiden, which is truly a great joy."
Xuanyuan was also very happy, and then sighed and said, "I also know about Penglai Island, but unfortunately I have no chance to become a disciple. Brother, you are very fortunate to have such an opportunity. You are definitely a step ahead of me."
Shennong comforted him, saying, "It was by chance that I came to this. You don't need to worry about it. The Holy Father's family has done a lot for the human race. Although you were unable to become his disciple, if you can sincerely think about the people of the prehistoric world, the Holy Father's family will surely favor you."

Emperor Fuxi arrived in his Nine Dragons Chariot, cupped his hands in greeting to Shennong, and smiled, saying, "Congratulations, my royal brother, on achieving the perfection of your merit!"
Shennong thanked him, accepted Xuandu's decree, bowed again in the direction of Penglai Island, and then rode away with Emperor Fuxi in a nine-dragon chariot...
At the age of forty-nine, Cangjie was accepted as a disciple, and Chiyou was born.
After assuming the throne, Xuanyuan worked diligently and treated the people well. Building on the foundation laid by Shennong, he further developed the human race. With his wisdom, he established standards and unified all things in the world according to a single standard for easy circulation and calculation.
Meanwhile, Xuan Tian, who hadn't appeared on Penglai Island for a long time, well... it seems he's the main character, it's time for him to come out.

After the children left, Xuan Tian walked up to the young man and asked, "Young man, what's your name? What are you drawing?"
When the young man saw an old man asking him a question, he said, "Sir, my name is Cangjie. I am writing a character. This is the character for 'bird'."
"Oh, a bird? But what you've written doesn't look like a 'bird' at all?"
"It's like this," Cangjie said. "I noticed that the villagers all use drawings to record things, but it's too complicated, and sometimes the content is inconsistent. So I wanted to create a unified pattern, which I call 'characters,' but I've never been able to figure it out."
“Oh! Young man, you have ambition! I have some ideas, but I don’t know if you’d be willing to listen?” Xuan Tian said.
"Please speak, sir," Cangjie said hastily upon hearing the old man's suggestion.
"No rush, take a look at what I wrote first," Xuan Tian stopped him. He squatted down and used his cane to write the character "bird" next to the one Cang Jie had drawn in oracle bone script. Then he stopped talking and waited for Cang Jie to see for himself.
