Gouchen died.

Upon hearing this, Bai Qi understood Ying Zheng's thoughts, so he removed his hand from the hilt of his sword, dissipating the protective magic he had been holding. Zhenwu had just breathed a sigh of relief when he heard Bai Qi say, "So, His Majesty's tour was a pretense, and he's currently heading towards Mount Li?"

The messenger, disguised as Zhenwu, feigned caution and said, "His Majesty is indeed touring the beautiful land, but he only stopped by Mount Li."

Upon hearing this, Bai Qi sneered, "Isn't she just a woman? Even if she's a female immortal, so what? I'll grant His Majesty's wish, so he won't be constantly preoccupied with her, which is utterly ridiculous." Having said this, he flew towards Mount Li without waiting for the messenger's reply. Bai Qi, however, was concerned for Ying Zheng's safety. Seeing Ying Zheng so pathetic over a woman, he was filled with rage, failing to calmly consider the messenger's words or return to Xianyang to verify the facts. His fate was truly sealed; his head was spinning, and he was destined for the calamity of being sealed and suppressed.

The Mountain and River Map was a magical treasure bestowed upon the Holy Goddess Nuwa by the Daoist Ancestor Hongjun. Within it lay a universe of its own, possessing boundless wonders. Once unfurled, it covered the entire Lishan Mountain. Bai Qi, unaware of its existence, stumbled inside, instantly losing all contact with the outside world, wandering aimlessly like a headless fly. Seeing Bai Qi enter the world depicted in the map, Lishan quickly used the secret incantation taught by Zhenwu to seal him firmly within the Mountain and River Map. Zhenwu, who had been following Bai Qi from afar, arrived at the same time. The two used their great magic to take the map to Bai Qi's training grounds and suppress him.

The training grounds were located on Earth. Not long after Bai Qi left, the gods of the Heavenly Thunder Department unleashed the Nine Heavens Thunder, indiscriminately slaughtering the witch soldiers. Hundreds of thousands of witch soldiers died unjustly, their resentment filling the heavens. Even the Nine Heavens Thunder could not extinguish their pent-up anger and send them into the cycle of reincarnation. Helpless, the gods gathered together to discuss the matter, and finding no other way, they had no choice but to seal them away.

Upon arriving at this location, Zhenwu used the Mountain and River Map as the core of the formation, employing supreme mystical techniques to establish the Seven Stars Big Dipper Formation, drawing upon the malevolent power of the seven stars to suppress Bai Qi's struggles. He then forged dozens of demon-subduing pillars to seal the souls of the fallen soldiers within them. These pillars formed the basis of the formation, subtly corresponding to the twenty-eight constellations of the celestial realm, intending to use stellar power to dissolve the vengeful spirits' malevolent energy over countless years. After completing these tasks, Zhenwu, fearing that mortals might accidentally discover this place and perish, set up a concealment and illusion array outside the demon-subduing formation. This served two purposes: firstly, to prevent mortals from losing their lives, and secondly, to prevent evil cultivators from releasing Bai Qi in order to obtain the souls of the unjustly deceased soldiers.

After finishing these tasks, Zhenwu left with peace of mind, for he still had a mission to complete.

After the great battle between Gouchen and Bai Qi, resentment, yin energy, and malevolence filled the ground here. No life could survive here for long. At most, it would take three to five years, and at least a year and a half, before it would inevitably be affected by the lingering energies and die.

As soon as Zhenwu Bu left, Xuantian descended to the mortal realm. When a sage appears, extraordinary phenomena inevitably occur. Immediately, celestial energy swirled, golden light flashed, and a fragrant aroma filled the air, with golden lotuses springing from the earth. All beings sensed the arrival of a great sage and prostrated themselves in worship, offering devout prayers. Xuantian sighed inwardly and casually took out an object. It shone with golden light and emitted a strange fragrance. Upon closer inspection, it was a talisman, bearing the patterns of the Nine Palaces and Eight Trigrams, with a map of mountains and rivers on its back. It was a treasure Xuantian had refined using the essence of heaven, earth, sun, and moon, and various rare and precious materials. Named the Taiyi Dutian Talisman, it was modeled after the Mountain and River Map. While its effects couldn't compare to the wondrous uses of supreme innate spiritual treasures, it was still a fine item. It contained its own space, capable of extending for millions of miles when released, yet only the size of a palm when stored.

Xuan Tian glanced at the magical artifact in his hand, then raised his hand again, taking out twelve staffs, each engraved with one of the twelve Heavenly Demon Gods. They were pitch black, with wisps of black energy swirling within them. Xuan Tian waved his hand and tossed the twelve staffs into the void. The staffs grew with the wind, transforming into towering pillars that scattered in all directions. If people from later generations were to see this, they would surely discover that the area encompassed by the twelve pillars was the rooster-shaped map of China in later generations.

The twelve towering black pillars disappeared into the ground as soon as they hit the ground, absorbing the evil energy within. Xuan Tian laughed, "Just one step away. The rest of the construction depends on whether this step can be completed." With that, he pointed to the Mountain and River Map, and the Seven Star Big Dipper Formation, which the True Martial Emperor had painstakingly erected, collapsed instantly. Instantly, countless souls of the wronged soldiers were drawn out. Xuan Tian sneered, "I was just about to borrow you all." With that, he waved his hand, collecting the hundreds of thousands of souls into the Taiyi Talisman in his hand. Then, with another flick of his wrist, he released Ying Zheng and Bai Qi from the Mountain and River Map.

The two had just landed, still dazed and confused. Bai Qi, a great shaman with considerable cultivation, had just awoke to find himself before a figure dressed in a moon-white Daoist robe, wearing a nine-palace purple-gold Daoist crown. The figure exuded a strange fragrance, yet appeared like an ordinary mortal, making it impossible to discern their cultivation level. Bai Qi, being a man of some knowledge, knew this person possessed great supernatural powers and that he was completely unable to assess their cultivation. Knowing he was no match for them, he asked, "May I ask who you are, sir?"

Xuan Tian laughed and asked, "Who am I?" Then, his eyes became somewhat unfocused. "Transmigrated... who am I really?..."

Ying Zheng also came to his senses, but upon seeing the scene before him, he had no idea how to deal with it. He was, after all, one of the greatest emperors of all time, but what had happened today was far beyond his experience, and he was only surprised for a moment. Seeing that Xuan Tian was also standing there without saying a word, Ying Zheng cautiously asked, "Daoist Master?"

Xuan Tian woke up when he heard Ying Zheng's call. He looked at the two of them and said, "Speaking of which, I can be considered your elder."

Bai Qi was shocked. When did the Witch Clan have such a master? After the death of the Twelve Ancestral Witches, there were very few of them left. Bai Qi had no idea where there was such a master among the Witch Clan.
