Some innate spiritual treasures and objects, after a long period of evolution, developed intelligence and took human form. These can also be considered innate beings, such as the two Western Saints.
Innate beings are often born with great magical power, unlike acquired beings who are burdened by karma. If they remain secluded, even the greatest eons cannot find them.
Acquired beings do not have this advantage. For example, Di Jun and Tai Yi, although extremely powerful, were born with cause and effect. Otherwise, why would the Chaos Bell fall into the hands of an acquired being?
As mentioned earlier, after several great calamities, very few primordial beings remained in this world. The few remaining were all saints. Perhaps some remained hidden, but their numbers were certainly very small. Therefore, Sun Wukong, currently wandering the world, was one of the few remaining primordial beings who were not saints.
All of this is really just to say how good Sun Wukong is.
When Sun Wukong, the remnant of the sky-mending material, fell into the primordial world, the two Western Saints began to plot against him. At that time, the relationship between the two Western Saints and Nuwa was not very good, but it was much better than that between the Three Pure Ones. After all, it was the Three Pure Ones who ultimately stopped Nuwa from intervening. At that time, Taoism was flourishing after the great calamity, while the Western religion was still in debt. When it would flourish again was still uncertain. Life was not easy due to debt, but the Three Pure Ones of Taoism were there to support them, and the two Western Saints could not do anything about it.
After much deliberation, they finally set their sights on Nuwa. Of course, it wasn't that they didn't want to target Xuantian; their relationship with Xuantian wasn't too bad at the time. But it was simply too difficult. There were seven sages, and apart from Xuantian and Nuwa, the others had all established their own sects. Of these five sect-establishing sages, only the Three Pure Ones possessed innate treasures and were truly blessed with good fortune. Although Tongtian didn't have any, he possessed the Heaven-Slaying Sword Formation, a powerful killing array. Without absolute certainty, no one wanted to provoke him.
The one who also possesses innate supreme treasures is Xuan Tian. Moreover, Xuan Tian, a saint who does not establish a sect, is even more formidable than those saints who do. He not only possesses innate supreme treasures but also a sacred artifact of creation merit. Furthermore, he possesses a vast amount of merit and boundless fortune. Even though Xuan Tian is the one who establishes a sect, it is feared that no one in the world can withstand his might.
But he couldn't establish a sect. Hongjun Daozu lay high above the nine heavens, establishing the Xuanmen sect since the beginning of time, and had several saintly disciples under his command. All the elites of the world came from Zixiao Palace, and its fortune was extremely profound. Xuanmen was the orthodox sect of heaven and earth, but Xuantian had to take on the position of "Xuanmen Protector". This so-called position was not very good. Of course, the advantage was that no one dared to touch him easily.
Xuantian's status is not comparable to that of Tongtian. Although Tongtian is one of the Three Pure Ones of Pangu and holds a revered position, he is somewhat reckless and lacks strategic thinking. Moreover, it is understandable that Yuanshi, another of the Three Pure Ones of Pangu, schemed against him.
But Xuan Tian is different. He's not Tongtian. In terms of cultivation, he's cultivated for more time than Ancestor Hongjun. Who can compare to him in terms of profound magical power and high cultivation? Even Laozi wouldn't dare claim victory. In terms of disciples, he doesn't have many, but they are all powerful individuals with merit, magical treasures, and cultivation. Even the major sects can't produce many like him. In terms of magical treasures, although he doesn't have the Immortal Slaughtering Sword Formation, he is still powerful, possessing numerous magical treasures. Each of his three clones has one or two magical treasures, and their power is considerable. Who can be his opponent?
Most importantly, he did not establish a religion!
Although the Three Pure Ones, Jieyin and Zhunti, and others had all established their own sects and were recognized by Hongjun, and were considered a branch of the Xuanmen (Taoist sect), they eventually separated and became a large family. Hongjun was the father, and there were seven brothers and sisters. The family owned a large company. When the old man retired, the family divided the property, and the five brothers each received a sum of money and went out to work independently. Although they were still nominally part of the family, they each had their own company, and their relationship with the original family's large company became more distant.
Nuwa is the youngest sister in the family and doesn't seem to have any plans to leave. Although she's not as powerful as her brothers who run companies outside, she's protected, well-fed and clothed, and doesn't have to worry about anything. Her other brothers and sisters may look down on her and occasionally bully her a little, but they don't dare to go too far. After all, they've separated from the family, and if they go back to bully their little sister, they'll be reprimanded by their superiors.
The best was Xuan Tian. Unlike his brothers, he didn't start his own small company. Instead, he held an executive supervisor position within the original company. This was better than the others, even though they seemed to earn more and be more prestigious. They were still nominally under this large company, and a portion of their profits had to be handed over. Moreover, no matter how powerful they were outside, they wouldn't dare cause trouble within the company, much less come back to cause trouble for the executive supervisor. After all, he was still an employee of the family's parent company. As the saying goes, "Even a prime minister's son is a seventh-rank official," and that's the point. No matter how powerful you are as the head of a branch company, you can't come back to headquarters to mess with me, can you? If you make a scene and get the old man involved, you'll be seen as a scheming scoundrel trying to seize power in headquarters. Anyway, no matter what you say, the label will be stuck first.
Moreover, since he was part of the family's parent company, each subsidiary had to hand over a portion of its profits to the parent company. Although Xuan Tian only received a small salary, it was easy for him and he didn't have to take any risks.
Most importantly, now that the old man has retired, he doesn't care about the money in the company anymore. So, only Xuan Tian can touch this money.
Of course, the others could see these things too, but there was nothing they could do. Who told them they hadn't seized the opportunity and fought for it back then? When they split the money to start their own company, they were all excited and full of vigor. Who knew that once they were out there, they would realize that running a business requires knowing how expensive firewood is, that the market is only so big, and that everyone has to fight for their own interests. If they had known this beforehand, they would have been better off staying at home and taking a fixed salary.
