Kunlun Discussion

After all, the power of the Immortal Slaughtering Sword Formation is too great.

Jieyin can withstand any two sages joining forces, except for Xuantian and Laozi, unless Yuanshi and Tongtian join forces. Jieyin excels at defense; his defensive stance is so formidable it's infuriating. No matter how you attack, he won't encounter any major problems.

Zhunti is comparable to Nuwa, as mentioned when discussing Yuanshi and Tongtian, though their cultivation and magical treasures are somewhat inferior.

As for Xuantian, that's hard to say. I'll leave that for later, lest I finish writing about it all at once and lose the fun. But I'll tell you one thing: unless the Three Pure Ones join forces, Xuantian is safe.

Seventy-four Penglai Strength

In Xuan Tian's heart, he wasn't afraid of what the others might do to him, but he was worried that something might happen to his disciples. He thought of the Investiture of the Gods, when Yuanshi plotted against the disciples of the Jie Sect, causing the entire Jie Sect to be wiped out and almost destroyed. He himself was powerful enough not to be afraid, but he was afraid that those saints would plot against their disciples. Even if he was a saint, he might still be careless at times.

Penglai Island is powerful. Although Xuantian has not established a religion, Penglai Island's strength is by no means inferior to any other religion, and may even surpass many others.

Although Xuantian officially only has three disciples, in reality, apart from Chang'e on the moon, all the creatures on the three Penglai Islands (Fangzhang, Yingzhou) can be considered Xuantian's disciples.

These beings have been listening to Xuan Tian preach here ever since he established Penglai Island. They have never left Penglai Island. It's not that they can't go out, but Penglai Island is much better than the Primordial World. Occasionally, one or two beings are sent out by Xuan Tian to do something, and when they return, they tell their companions on the island about what happened in the Primordial World.

Since the beginning of time, the primordial world has been rife with conflict. The three races fought for territory, battled Luo Hou, and the witches and demons vied for supremacy. Even the current human race has fought a major war with the remnants of the witch race. Apart from these, there are also frequent battles in the primordial world for rare and precious materials and blessed lands, all of which have caused great chaos. For the creatures of Penglai Island, the primordial world is really not a good place.

The creatures on Penglai Island lived a comfortable life and naturally had no desire to cause trouble in the prehistoric world. Penglai Island was not lacking in natural treasures. Xuan Tian had collected so many things from the prehistoric world that they were piled up everywhere. The creatures on Penglai Island cherished these things and usually managed them on their own. If it were up to Xuan Tian and his disciples, they really wouldn't be able to manage such a large island.

The spiritual energy of Penglai Island is no less abundant than that of Buzhou Mountain before its collapse. It itself was formed from fragments of chaos, hence its rich spiritual energy. Furthermore, it possesses hundreds of spiritual veins that Xuantian brought from the primordial world, including several large spiritual veins gathered beneath Buzhou Mountain. When Buzhou Mountain collapsed, Yuanshi took half of it. Originally, Yuanshi intended to use the lower half of Buzhou Mountain as a Daoist temple, but Xuantian disliked this and moved the undamaged, massive spiritual veins, leaving Yuanshi with no recourse but to continue using Kunlun Mountain as his Daoist temple. Beneath Penglai Island also lie the spiritual veins of the Four Seas Dragon Palaces. The Four Seas Dragon Kings were determined to follow Xuantian, even allowing him to connect a ley line to the foundation of their dragon veins. The East Sea and South Sea Dragon Kings even moved their sea eyes to Penglai Island.

This situation directly resulted in the spiritual energy on Penglai Island being liquefied and unimaginably abundant. Therefore, the creatures on Penglai Island would not be foolish enough to run to the prehistoric world to become some kind of mountain king.

Aside from the above, the most important thing is the kindness that Xuantian bestowed upon the beings on Penglai Island. In the hundreds of Yuanhui after the creation of the world, the three races fought for the world, and since Hongjun began to preach, there has not been a complete cultivation method in the prehistoric world. Xuantian began to preach on Penglai Island at that time. Although Xuantian had utilitarian intentions at the time, it must be said that Xuantian's actions were truly a great act of merit and goodness.

Hundreds of thousands of years have passed since then, and the inhabitants of the island have come to regard this place as their home. The people on the island are like sisters and brothers in a family. Xuan Tian originally forbade the behavior of killing each other, and most of the creatures on the island are transformed from the essence of plants and trees, with the most docile nature. So far, no bloodshed has occurred on Penglai Island.

As the number of living beings increased, Penglai Island was no longer the three islands it once was. Now, Penglai Island is surrounded by 108 medium-sized islands, arranged according to the numbers of the Heavenly Gang and Earthly Fiends. These small islands were moved here by powerful beings on Penglai Island to protect the three islands. They usually reside on these 108 small islands and only come to Penglai Island when Xuan Tian preaches.

Of the three islands of Penglai, Penglai Island was originally the residence of Xuantian, where he used it for his daily lectures; Fangzhang Island was the residence of Xuantian's three disciples; and Yingzhou Island was the residence of those under the Penglai sect who had reached the Taiyi Loose Immortal level or higher. The rest resided on the 108 smaller islands outside.

Each of the three islands of Penglai has a protective innate chaotic array, which is forbidden to anyone below the level of a Great Luo Golden Immortal. Xuan Tian also brought the three islands together to form a Three Powers Array of Heaven, Earth, and Man, making it even more powerful. In addition, there are other arrays that Xuan Tian usually sets up on the three islands, so even Quasi-Saints dare not enter. The outer islands consist of eight medium-sized islands arranged in the Heavenly Gang and Earthly Fiend Array. The central island is further divided into three hundred and sixty-five smaller islands, arranged in the Zhou Tian Star Array. Xuan Tian personally forged the Zhou Tian Star Flag to collect the power of the stars. The three hundred and sixty-five smaller islands are further divided into twelve large sections, arranged in the Chengdu Heavenly God and Fiend Array. It can be said that Penglai Island is a world of arrays, a collection of various large and small arrays.

Even a sage who wants to enter, hmph, he'd better consider whether he has the ability to defeat Xuan Tian after breaking through these formations.

Penglai Island currently boasts over ten thousand Celestial Immortals, several thousand Taiyi Loose Immortals, over a thousand True Immortals, several hundred Taiyi Golden Immortals, and over a hundred Daluo Immortals. On the surface, there are only two Quasi-Saints: Huixin and Liaozhen. However, there are actually two other disciples who are also Quasi-Saints. One is a jade spirit that took human form at the beginning of creation, possessing an innate jade spirit body, named Su Yu Daoren (male). He achieved Quasi-Saint cultivation by severing his good corpse during the Lich War. The other is a Qilin who attained enlightenment, possessing an innate fire spirit body, named Jin Linzi. He was taken in by Xuantian during the internal strife of the three races. Originally intended as a mount, his exceptional talent led Xuantian to accept him as a disciple. In fact, Jin Linzi never disappointed Xuantian, his cultivation soaring rapidly, reaching Quasi-Saint cultivation faster than Su Yu. Later, Xuantian often lamented that with such cultivation, if he were truly a mount, he would probably terrify several Saints. (A Quasi-Saint mount? Seriously, what are others supposed to do with that?)
