"Well done!" a voice came from the thunder, and then a tall figure suddenly rushed out of the thunder. Then a thick bolt of lightning rushed towards the dark figure and arrived in an instant.

Then a huge fist punched straight into the chest of the dark figure, sending him flying. He crashed into the roof of the train car and then fell down.

Only when the dark figure flew away could one see the person's face clearly; it was Shi Long.

This also shows just how fast Shi Long's movements were. He knocked the dark figure away almost the instant the lightning appeared, making his movements completely invisible to the naked eye.

At this moment, he was surrounded by lightning, looking like a thunder god.

Along with her were Yanling and the woman named Meiling.

As soon as Yanling burst out of the lightning, she caught me as I was being pulled away from the dark figure.

Another violent coughing fit ensued, making me feel extremely uncomfortable. However, compared to death, I could still endure this level of pain.

"Are you alright? I'm late."

Seeing my distress, Yanling felt extremely heartbroken. She looked tense, and her big eyes welled up with tears.

"Cough cough...cough, no...it's nothing, you've come at the perfect time." Seeing Yanling's worried look, I felt a warmth in my heart for no reason, and I felt even more that it was good to be alive.

Seeing how distressed I was, Shui Yanling had already added another heavy stroke to Shi Long's heart. Now that this matter was over, she had to have a good "talk" with him. Thinking this, she glanced at Shi Long again.

At this moment, the stone dragon, who seemed like a thunder god descending to earth, suddenly trembled again, feeling a bit guilty as he sensed a gaze sweeping over him from behind.

The black shadow that had been sent flying by Shi Long's punch lay on the ground, writhing. Shi Long's punch had actually shattered its form.

After wriggling a few times, the dark shadow suddenly transformed into a stream of water, attempting to escape in the opposite direction from the stone dragon.

"Hmph," Shi Kong sneered, then said to Mei Li, "Make your move!" Mei Li suddenly appeared, her figure darting around as she chased straight after the black stream of water. She was incredibly fast, and in the blink of an eye, she blocked the stream of water behind her.

Unexpectedly, the black water suddenly made a turn, bypassing the woman and continuing to rush backward.

Mei Li suddenly smiled, revealing two small dimples that were quite beautiful, but there was no one around to admire her at that moment.

Suddenly, Mei Li took out four small flags from her bosom and threw them towards the black water flow. She then quickly stuck the other two flags in front of her.

Then, Mei Li was seen chanting some incantation, and the black water was moving very fast. Just as it was about to fly out of the boundary between the two small flags, Mei Li suddenly stopped and pointed at the small flags in front of her with both hands.

Chapter Thirty-Four: The Cage

The four small flags emitted light in unison, then instantly connected to form a light screen, creating an encirclement that trapped the black water inside.

The black water seemed unwilling to give up and crashed straight into the light screen. The black water was bounced back, and the light screen showed water ripples that spread outwards. When the water ripples disappeared, the light screen was completely unharmed.

Instead, after being hit by the black water on the light screen, its color dimmed considerably, and it could only lie there quietly.

Seeing this, Shi Long's lips curled into a smile. After working together with Mei Li for so many years, their tacit understanding had become extremely refined. They had gone to great lengths to lure Shui Yanling out, and if she were to escape, wouldn't they be at a huge loss?

After finishing her task, Mei Li stepped aside, knowing that the little thing trapped inside would never get out.

I watched from the sidelines, marveling at how powerful the array flags were. They transformed into a golden cage, trapping the thing inside.

Shui Yanling, who was next to me, didn't even look at that thing. She just helped me up and asked me where else I was injured.

That's true. Although this array of flags looks very powerful, it's only effective against small ghosts like this. Its main purpose is to seal off this space and prevent the ghost from escaping.

If it were Shui Yanling, she could probably shatter that set of array flags with a wave of her hand.

Yanling helped me stand up, and then slowly walked to the golden cage, coldly staring at the stream of water.

The black stream of water became docile after hitting the wall, probably giving up when it realized it couldn't break through the cage.

Then you see the water flow slowly wriggle, and soon it transforms into a black human figure standing there.

After the dark figure stood there, it slowly became more substantial, eventually transforming into the gaunt man.

The gaunt man was even more emaciated than when he was first seen; his eyes were almost sunken in, his pale face looked like it was just a layer of skin, and his whole body was shrouded in a thick black aura.

"We've always kept to ourselves, and I haven't attacked you first, so why are you forcing me like this?" the gaunt man said resentfully, filled with deep apprehension towards the tall man in front of him.

Not only that, the woman next to it wearing a baseball cap made it feel even more troublesome, and the most terrifying one was the seemingly weak woman behind it. Just a glance at her made its eyes sting.
