Since I couldn't move my legs, I could only hold the bead in one hand and make a fist, while placing the other hand directly on the ground. I used the strength in my hand to support my body and slowly moved backward, trying to get as far away from the sphere made up of many heads as possible.

But the sphere showed no sign of letting me escape. Seeing me slowly moving backward with my hands on my sides, it suddenly seemed to get angry, and the hair all over its body suddenly stopped, as if it were floating in the air.

Chapter Thirty-Three: Severe Hypoxia

Then, the hair that had suddenly stopped began to flutter wildly, each strand whipping around the carriage like a whip, even smashing the door of the adjacent compartment and revealing the scene inside.

Inside the dark private room, corpses lay haphazardly on the floor, covered in blood. Some had even been dismembered, with limbs and heads scattered everywhere.

Everyone in this carriage was killed! Looking at these corpses, my fear was gradually replaced by anger. These people were all innocent; why were they so cruel?

Watching that black sphere made up of heads still wildly waving its hair and destroying the surroundings, a deep sense of disgust suddenly arose in my heart.

I was only thinking about smashing the bead and getting Shi Long to come and deal with this monstrous thing, but the black ball seemed to know what I was thinking. As soon as I raised my hand, a clump of hair rushed over and tied my hand.

Then more and more hair quickly stretched out, binding my whole body tightly. A clump of hair even went straight in through my nose and mouth, seemingly trying to go into my stomach.

My hand holding the bead was completely immobilized, so I could only use my other hand to quickly grab the clump of hair to stop it from going any further in, but the rest of the hair just swung over and hit me.

Intense pain instantly spread throughout my body, tearing my clothes and revealing streaks of blood. The hair being stuffed into my mouth and nose blocked my airway, preventing me from even screaming. At that moment, I was in excruciating pain.

The feeling of suffocation caused severe oxygen deprivation in my brain, and it felt as if a thousand or ten thousand ants were frantically tearing at me inside my head.

At the same time, my consciousness was gradually fading away. I don't know why, but I suddenly remembered the greasy man's dead face, which was utterly disgusting.

Finally, it felt like all my strength was used up. The hair that had been stuffed into my nose and mouth went straight into my stomach, as if it had grown directly inside me and then spread throughout my body along my blood vessels.

Never before had the feeling of death come so directly. Accompanied by immense physical pain, I finally couldn't bear it any longer and was about to faint.

Suddenly, the talisman hanging around my neck floated up on its own, and then a flame, like a fire dragon, traveled along the hair that stretched into my body, instantly igniting the black ball.

The hair on the outside of the black sphere was completely burned away by the fire dragon, revealing the bald head inside.

The heads that were originally expressionless began to twist and contort, and some even bared their teeth like living people.

Then the clump of heads that were connected together began to melt one by one, slowly turning into a thick, black liquid that flowed directly onto the train.

The heads that had been clustered together suddenly fell apart and scattered everywhere, with several even rolling around me.

The head that had fallen to the ground was still baring its teeth, slowly turning into a pool of black liquid.

The talisman hanging around my neck, after its sudden burst of power, seemed to have exhausted its strength and drooped down, continuing to fall on my neck.

After suddenly suffocating for so long, I lay down on the train floor, coughing violently. My head felt dizzy, and I was in excruciating pain.

Soon, all the scattered heads turned into a black, viscous liquid, which enveloped the entire carriage, making it look disgusting.

I lay on the ground coughing for a long time before I recovered. Looking at the black liquid filling the carriage, my stomach churned again.

Suddenly, the scattered liquid began to flow, and all of it converged towards a point in front of me, eventually coalescing into a black shadow.

After a surge, the black shadow stood upright, looking just like a living person.

I looked up and saw that the black shadow had become bigger and thicker. Then, when I raised my hand, I saw that the black shadow stood still, but a black hand reached out from the ground and grabbed my neck.

If the shadowy hand wasn't a thick, glossy black rather than a pure black, I would have almost thought it was the same black hand on my body.

My neck was being tightly gripped, and the feeling of suffocation returned, but I no longer had the strength to struggle.

Slowly, the shadow raised its hand, and I was caught in mid-air. Under the influence of gravity, I could only flap my legs and wave one hand in the air.

Despair and the fear of death washed over me like a tidal wave. I could only slowly close my eyes, and then, with the last bit of strength in my body, I threw the bead I was tightly holding in my other hand hard onto the ground.

A crisp "clang" echoed through the carriage.

The bead shattered instantly, and in that instant, endless lightning erupted from it, illuminating the entire carriage.
