The above demonstrates Lao Tzu's profound cultivation. In the later Investiture of the Gods, Lao Tzu could freely enter and exit the Tongtian Zhuxian Sword Formation on his own, while others could not. Even considering that Lao Tzu possessed the Xuanhuang Pagoda, it is evident how deep his cultivation was. The values mentioned above are only approximate values at the time when these individuals became saints. They will increase and change as their cultivation deepens in the future.
Let's talk about Xuan Tian. After seeing the strength of the others, everyone is also looking forward to Xuan Tian's strength. As the protagonist, Xuan Tian is naturally not going to be weak.
Xuan Tian can also be considered to have achieved sainthood through merit, but his cultivation method is unique and his experiences are different from those of ordinary people, things that ordinary people cannot even imagine.
If we consider the strength of Xuan Tian to become a saint through merit, he is around 13th. However, he also knows Pangu's technique of dividing the primordial spirit into three parts. But he is more powerful than Laozi. He divides his own gains into three parts: one part into Pangu, one part into Qinglian, and one part into Hongjun.
Pangu was transformed by Xuantian from Pangu's brain, and is called Taixuan, representing all the past. He is the head of the Pangu lineage and holds the Pangu Great Law. After that, all those who claim to be the Pangu lineage must share a portion of their fortune with Xuantian. This is Xuantian's greatest advantage as a transmigrator. Laozi stole the fortune of Yuanshi and Tongtian for his own use, and Xuantian used this method to steal a portion of the fortune of all the Pangu lineages, thus gaining a great advantage.
The Azure Lotus, which controls creation, stole the fortune of Jieyin. Originally, the Chaos Azure Lotus was divided into four parts, transforming into four lotus platforms of different colors: azure, black, blood, and gold. The remaining part, along with a bit of Primordial Purple Qi, transformed into the Heaven and Earth Dust. Xuantian claimed the Azure Lotus as his own and stole the Great Dao of Creation from the Azure Lotus for his own use. Even the things transformed from the Chaos Azure Lotus were all controlled by him. Jieyin established the foundation of the Western Sect with the Twelve-Petaled Golden Lotus and had to repay this karma, so Xuantian took a share of his fortune. Styx established the Asura Sect and also had to share a share of his fortune with Xuantian. As for the Black Lotus, it was severely damaged in the war between the three races and was only at the sixth rank, but its foundation was not lost. It was nurtured by Dao Ancestor Hongjun and returned to the ninth rank, transforming into a diagram, which was the Zhuxian Sword Formation Diagram. It also had to share a share of its fortune with Xuantian.
Xuan was formed from a fragment of the Jade Disc of Creation, which became Hongjun. Hongjun was ordained by Heaven to govern the Heavenly Way, educating all living beings and forging a vast karmic bond with Heaven and Earth. His own fortune was unimaginably prosperous. Now, all the sages are disciples of Hongjun. The Xuanmen is the highest sect in Heaven and Earth, the true lineage of Pangu. Only four people, the Three Pure Ones of Xuantian, remained. The only symbol, Mount Buzhou, was also destroyed by Gonggong. From then on, Heaven and Earth regarded the Xuanmen as the orthodox sect. All others were not included in the Heavenly Way and were not tolerated by it. Under the Xuanmen, Pangu was the greatest, and the others were considered outsiders with shallow fortune and insufficient blessings, and were therefore not worth mentioning.
Xuan Tian, through a sleight of hand, used a fragment of the Jade Disc of Creation to record all the secret methods of the Great Dao since Hong Jun's teachings. Furthermore, having been appointed by Hong Jun to protect the Xuanmen sect, he transformed this fragment into Hong Jun, thus forging a great karmic connection with Hong Jun's disciples and an even greater one with heaven and earth—meaning the entire universe was now entangled with Xuan Tian. From this point on, Hong Jun's disciples could not escape, unless someone dared to break away from the Xuanmen and establish a separate sect, like Jieyin and Zhunti, who founded Buddhism, thus separating themselves from the Xuanmen. However, even they could not escape the control of the Azure Lotus incarnation. Moreover, heaven and earth regarded the Xuanmen as the orthodox sect, created by Pangu. Even if they established a separate sect, they would still have to repay Pangu's debt of gratitude. How could they possibly escape Xuan Tian's control?
Moreover, Xuan Tian transformed into his present form with the Five-Colored Divine Light, thus establishing a karmic connection with the Five Elements. How many things in the world are not within the Five Elements? Even sages are subject to its control. To put it nicely, sages are not within the Three Realms and transcend the Five Elements, but that's just relying on their strength. Isn't Zhunti also a being of the Five Elements?
In his previous life, Kong Xuan relied on the Five-Colored Divine Light to navigate the world, possessing profound fortune. All things under heaven were subject to his control. Tongtian was aware of this situation, but given Kong Xuan's qualifications and status, even Tongtian dared not accept him as a disciple. Only Hongjun was worthy of being his master. Tongtian forcibly established a relationship with Kong Xuan. Kong Xuan had heard Tongtian preach and was considered a member of the Jie Sect, but not Tongtian's disciple. As a result, the Jie Sect was able to prolong its fortune.
However, the Five-Colored Divine Light was both his strength and his weakness. This thing was ultimately too domineering, and how could those saints possibly cope with it? In the end, the Five-Colored Divine Light was taken away, and Kong Xuan ended up as a Ming King, but his mind was unclear, and he spent his days in a daze.
Enough said. In any case, if we're talking about the depth of one's fortune, apart from Hongjun, it's Xuantian. Xuantian is the one who steals; the sage steals everything in heaven and earth.
Xuan Tian achieved the status of a Saint of Merit using this method, making him stronger than those who sever the three corpses. Although he couldn't compare to the Saints who proved their Dao through force, he wasn't much weaker. His base ability was around 15, and with the magical treasures he possessed, such as the Boundless Merit Ruler, the Heaven and Earth Dust Whisk, the Qiankun Gourd, the 14th-grade Green Lotus, and the Yin Finger, his actual combat power was no less than 18, or even higher, perhaps 19. No one could say for sure, since there hadn't been a Saint-level battle since he became a Saint.
This isn't an exaggeration of strength; Xuan Tian's strength is indeed this high. If others had his opportunities, their strength wouldn't be lower than it is now. After all, of the four greatest Daos representing the entire world, Xuan Tian has had the opportunity to come into contact with three. The Chaos Pearl is too mystical; he hasn't had the chance to encounter it yet.
Of course, the numbers above cannot explain the outcome of the battle between the saints. It is only a rough estimate. To reveal a bit, among the saints, Laozi can fight two at once, and he can defeat Jieyin and Zhunti together without being defeated, but he cannot defeat them both. The two sides can be evenly matched. If Zhunti and Nuwa join forces against Laozi, they will definitely be defeated.
With his magical treasures, Yuanshi could remain undefeated against Jieyin, but he could not win either. He could defeat either Zhunti or Nuwa, but he would surely lose if the two joined forces.
Tongtian, speaking of Tongtian, he is truly blessed. Sometimes even I, the writer, can't help but envy him. If Tongtian sets up the Zhuxian Sword Formation, as long as no two of Xuantian, Laozi, and Jieyin join forces with one of the other saints, he will not be defeated. Even if one of these three joins forces with two of the other saints, they cannot defeat Tongtian. If these three join forces, he will definitely lose. If Zhunti, Nuwa, and Yuanshi join forces, he will at most suffer a little.
