Life and death are but a thought, like the Yin-Yang mirror

I'm only eighteen years old this year; a year is a blur.

Looking at the increasingly thick tribulation clouds, Lu Ya said indifferently, "I am Lu Ya. Fellow Daoists, please witness how I attain the supreme Dao." As he spoke, he glanced indifferently at the three beings above all saints: Hongjun Daozun, Tianzui Daozun, and Shengyi Daozun.

The sages and other sages were greatly embarrassed. Only now did they realize that the other party had only invited three Dao Venerables, and the sages were merely junior disciples. Therefore, they were furious, but could not express it.

After a few breaths, Lu Ya said calmly, "I am Lu Ya Daozun, and I have now established the lineage of Loose Cultivators. Loose cultivators can become Loose Immortals, Loose Demons, Loose Monsters, or Loose Buddhas. When they return to the Void and become Immortals, they undergo physical disintegration, scattering their immortal bodies and condensing their immortal spiritual energy in the form of a primordial spirit. They then cultivate diligently for ten thousand years to undergo the Loose Immortal Tribulation. Those who succeed become Loose Immortals of the First Tribulation. After ten thousand years, they undergo another tribulation to become Loose Immortals of the Second Tribulation. This process continues every ten thousand years, requiring one tribulation to be completed in twelve years, resulting in a Quasi-Saint body. After ten thousand years, they undergo another tribulation to achieve the body of a Saint. This tribulation is called the Saint Tribulation; the Saint is the Loose Saint. Loose Saints are no longer within the Five Elements and Yin-Yang, nor among the Saints." This is called: Scattered Saint. A Scattered Saint is one whose existence is as undying as the Heavenly Dao, equivalent to a Saint. Ten thousand years later, a Scattered Saint will face a tribulation. Success means the Great Dao is within reach; failure means the primordial spirit is annihilated. If one abandons this tribulation, one will remain a Saint for life, but will have no chance of attaining the Great Dao. To undergo this tribulation or to abandon it is voluntary. If a Scattered Saint undergoes another tribulation, they can achieve an existence akin to the Heavenly Dao, this is the Heavenly Dao, and the tribulation is called: the Dao Tribulation. The Dao Tribulation is the tribulation for those who wish to attain the Great Dao; it cannot be overcome without great perseverance, great willpower, and great wisdom. Before the creation of the world, I underwent the Saint Tribulation, becoming a Scattered Saint; today, I undergo the Dao Tribulation here, to attain the supreme Great Dao.”

As soon as Lu Ya finished speaking, a crack several feet in diameter suddenly appeared in the thunderclouds that were tens of thousands of feet thick. It was shaped like an eye, resembled yin and yang, and was purple in color. It was the Eye of the Great Dao.

Lu Ya stood serenely in mid-air, exuding an air of nonchalance and clarity. Suddenly, a golden pillar of lightning descended from the Eye of the Great Dao, striking Lu Ya directly above his head in the blink of an eye.

As Lu Ya watched the innate Gengjin divine lightning hurtling towards him, he raised his hands, and a dazzling azure light burst forth from between his hands, transforming into an azure dragon that twisted its body, which was tens of millions of feet long, and charged straight at him.

The power of the innate Geng Metal Divine Thunder silenced the earth, changed the color of the sky, shattered space, and caused panic in heaven and earth. The saints knew things were bad and took action. A golden bridge radiating ten thousand feet of golden light stretched across the sky. A pure white lotus of twenty-four petals suddenly grew to tens of millions of feet in size to protect a region of heaven and earth. A crimson lotus of twenty-four petals also grew to tens of millions of feet in size to protect a piece of land. Then, several more beams of light flashed, and the Sky-Supporting Bamboo, the Myriad Manifestations Map, and others also emitted ten thousand feet of radiant light and immortal energy to protect all things on earth.

The innate Geng metal divine thunder, the sharp metal energy of the west, is indestructible.

The Five Elements—metal, wood, water, fire, and earth—generate and restrain each other. Lu Ya unleashed the Azure Dragon, formed from the essence of the innate Yi Wood, precisely based on the principle of mutual restraint.

The moment the innate Geng metal divine thunder touched the Yi wood azure dragon, it emitted a hissing sound, and after a while, both disappeared.

Just after the tribulation lightning of metal passed, the eye of the Great Dao flashed with a blue light, and the innate Yi wood divine lightning was activated, heading straight for Lu Ya's spirit.

Wood represents life, but the extreme of life is death. The innate Yi Wood divine thunder, upon contact with anything, will instantly sprout a towering tree from its flesh. This tree absorbs essence and blood, and in a moment, the innate Yi Wood essence will drain the innate wood's blood and energy, causing death. Wood thrives with water, but too much water withers it. Countermeasure: Innate Ren Water.

Lu Ya waved his hand, and the entire Northern Sea surged and churned. A few breaths later, a water tornado with a diameter of tens of millions of feet rose from the sea surface, twisting and turning, and transformed into a giant tortoise, lying ten thousand miles above Lu Ya. The tortoise's head looked up at the sky, and its deep green tortoise eyes were directly facing the Innate Yi Wood Divine Thunder.

The tortoise controls water and is adept at defense. The Black Tortoise is the guardian of the waters of the north. It gathers the sacred beast Black Tortoise's Dharma body from the entire Northern Sea and uses its defense to overcome the innate Yi Wood divine thunder.

(Note: The 123rd Chaotic Golden Body has been corrected to Chaotic Sacred Body. We apologize to all readers for the inconvenience.)

Although the Northern Sea is not primordial water, its entirety is enough to block the primordial Yi Wood Divine Thunder.

With a deafening roar that shook the heavens and the earth, the Northern Sacred Beast Xuanwu, under the innate Yi Wood Divine Thunder, instantly turned into droplets of water and vanished into the world.

With a single strike of the innate Yi Wood Divine Thunder, the vast expanse of water in the Northern Sea was reduced by half. The size of the Northern Sea is immeasurable, which demonstrates the power of the innate divine thunder.

Under the two divine lightning bolts, Lu Ya's magical power was exhausted. Even Lu Ya, who was known as a saint with inexhaustible magical power, turned pale at this moment, and his magical power was greatly depleted.

Suddenly, a flash of azure light appeared in the Eye of the Great Dao, and the Innate Kui Water Divine Thunder poured down like the Milky Way in the heavens, rushing straight towards Lu Ya Daojun in the void.

Lu Ya let out a cold snort, lightly patting his head with his left hand. A small, emerald-green tree slowly emerged from the top of his head. The tree was nine feet nine-tenths feet tall, with nine branches, its color emerald green. Nine earth-yellow fruits swayed and trembled on the branches. The aura of earth permeated and gathered around the tree. A thick aura of innate earth energy burst forth, which was none other than the Yellow Plum, one of the ten innate spiritual roots.

Lu Ya formed hundreds of hand seals with his left hand, pointed with his right hand, and shouted, "Explode, explode, explode!" Nine earth-yellow fruits on the branch suddenly burst open, and an overwhelming aura of innate earth enveloped the surrounding area for thousands of miles. After a moment, it condensed into a giant mountain ten thousand feet high, a giant mountain completely formed from innate earth. Lu Ya raised the ten-thousand-foot-high mountain with his right hand, and his figure suddenly rose up, crashing straight into the innate Kui Water Divine Thunder that was like water falling from the nine heavens.

Water is the spirit of all living beings, the innate water, the divine water of the three lights. This water can extinguish all fires, melt all things, and is naturally capable of destroying the spirit and devouring bones.

With a deafening roar, the colossal mountain turned into countless specks of dust that fell with the wind. Of the nine branches of the innate earth spirit root, Huang Zhongli, all eight directions were destroyed, leaving only the central main root standing alone, emitting a faint earthy aura.
