Ten days later, Huang Feihu led his men to Tongguan. That night, all the men in the group were dressed in black and wore black hats. They hurriedly walked on the lush green mountain. Under the cover of darkness, only the green trees and tender grass could be seen swaying slightly and the dark shadows darting about. Suddenly, a fire appeared a thousand meters ahead, illuminating half of the mountain.
Suddenly a loud shout startled the birds into flight and the beasts into a frantic scattering, also bringing the pedestrians to a halt.
"Traitor Huang Feihu, Chen Tong is here! Surrender now!" a middle-aged man with a resolute face shouted. Behind him, hundreds of soldiers were fully armed and ready to pounce on him at Chen Tong's command.
Seeing that he had been caught by the garrison commander of Lintong Pass, Huang Feihu simply ripped off the mask from his face and laughed loudly, saying, "Huang Feihu greets General Chen Tong, the garrison commander of Lintong Pass. General, what brings you here so late at night?"
Chen Tong smiled sinisterly and said in a cold voice, "Huang Feihu, you're asking a question you already know the answer to, humph."
Huang Feihu gave a bitter laugh and said loudly, "As the saying goes, 'A good bird chooses a good tree to perch on, and a wise minister chooses a wise ruler to assist.' Now, King Zhou is tyrannical, oppressive to the world, has lost his mind and virtue, and favors treacherous ministers and seductive women. General, why do you choose to be infamous for ten thousand years for a country that is about to perish? Why not come with me to join King Wu of Xiqi, help him carry out the great cause of overthrowing King Zhou, and make unparalleled achievements and leave a good name for generations to come?"
Chen Tong laughed heartily, then suddenly lowered his head in deep thought. After a long while, he stared intently at Huang Feihu and hurriedly said, "Is what King Wu Cheng said true?" He paused for a moment, then suddenly shouted "Go!" A streak of fire flashed by, and Huang Feihu groaned and fainted.
Seeing Huang Feihu fall victim to the attack, Chen Tong laughed loudly, stepped forward, and swung his sword down like a dragon emerging from its cave, aiming straight for Huang Feihu's crown.
Suddenly a soft shout came, and a man appeared, nine feet tall, with a face like mutton fat, eyes that shone brightly, and a gait like a tiger and a leopard. His hair was tied in a topknot, his waist was bound with a hemp sash, and he wore straw sandals. He rode a jade-colored unicorn, with a blue auspicious cloud dancing in the wind beneath him, displaying an air of otherworldly elegance.
Do you know who this person is? Please look...
Chen Tong looked at the graceful young man dancing in the wind and asked coldly, "Where did this brat come from, daring to meddle in my business?"
The boy smiled bitterly, his eyes flashing with anger, and shouted, "I am Huang Tianhua, a disciple of the Pure Void Moral True Lord of Ziyang Cave on Qingfeng Mountain. Huang Feihu is my biological father!" With that, he roared and squeezed his legs together, wielding the Jade Kirin Eight-Sided Silver Hammer, and smashed it toward Chen Tongtian's head.
Chen Tong shouted and flicked his right hand, sending a crimson light towards Huang Tianhua's chest. Huang Tianhua smiled disdainfully, his octagonal silver hammer vanished, and a flower basket appeared in his right hand—the very same flower basket for collecting tokens, a secret technique passed down from his master. A flash of green light appeared, and inside the flower basket was an additional item—Chen Tong's magic weapon, the Fire Dragon Talisman.
Seeing that the flower basket had taken Chen Tong's hidden weapon, Huang Tianhua laughed and summoned his eight-sided silver hammer again, smashing it down on Chen Tong, who was filled with disbelief. With one blow, Chen Tong's brains splattered and he died.
Huang Tianhua killed Chen Tong, descended on auspicious clouds, and slowly walked forward. He gently stroked Huang Feihu's resolute face and said with a sob, "Father, I am late." As he spoke, he tore open the black clothes on Huang Feihu's chest, summoned a flower basket, aimed it at the bright red knife mark on his left chest, and slowly activated his magic power. With a "poof," another object fell into the flower basket. It was blood-red, looked like a knife, and emitted an extremely hot red light. It was Chen Tong's hidden weapon, the Fire Dragon Dart.
Huang Tianhua sighed and put away the flower basket. With his left hand, he took out a fragrant pill from his pocket and used his magic to apply it to Huang Feihu's knife wound. After a moment, Huang Feihu slowly woke up. Looking at the handsome and elegant young man in front of him, he said excitedly, "Thank you for your help, Immortal. Feihu is extremely grateful."
Suddenly, a scream rang out from among the entourage. A woman who looked to be about forty years old ran forward, staring intently at Huang Tianhua's face. After a long while, she burst into tears, crying out in anguish, "Tianhua, my son, I'm so sorry! I'm so sorry!"
Hearing his wife's cries, Huang Feihu was stunned for a moment, then hugged Huang Tianhua tightly, tears streaming down his face.
The night was as dark as ink, the moon as clear as water, and on the desolate mountain, a scene of utter desolation and sorrow filled the air.
Nine days later, at Jiepai Pass, Huang Tianhua led his troops alone, challenging the enemy at the pass. A moment later, a group of soldiers emerged from the city. The first man was burly, wearing golden armor, holding two whips, and with silver hair flying in the wind beneath his golden helmet. Who was he? He was none other than Huang Gun, the biological father of the traitor Huang Feihu.
Huang Gun looked at the rather familiar young man before him, but couldn't quite place him. After a long pause, he asked calmly, "I am Huang Gun. May I ask who you are and why you are shouting in front of my Jiepai Pass?"
Huang Tianhua quietly looked at the elderly man, who was over sixty years old. A hint of excitement involuntarily appeared in his eyes. Suddenly, he smiled faintly, bowed, and said, "I am a disciple of the Pure Void Moral True Lord of Ziyang Cave on Qingfeng Mountain. My name is Tianhua, and my surname is Huang. I wonder if General Huang remembers me?"
Huang Gun silently chanted, "Name Tianhua, surname Huang, name Tianhua, surname Huang, Huang Tianhua, Huang Tianhua," then suddenly shouted sharply, "Where did this petty thief come from, daring to impersonate my grandson Tianhua? Guards, seize him!"
After a long pause, Huang Gun, seeing that the guards were not obeying orders, became suspicious. He turned around and saw that the guards were staring blankly behind him. Out of curiosity, he looked and said tremblingly, "Tiger, why are you here?" Then he shouted, "Guards, seize this traitor and send him to Chaoge to await the King's judgment!" As he spoke, he was about to step forward to seize Huang Feihu.
A streak of green light flashed, and the handsome face reappeared three zhang in front of Huang Gun. The young man said in a mournful voice, "Grandpa, it's me, it's Tianhua. I'm back."
