Losing treasure while lighting lamps, red sand formation

Cangjie's avatar was also learned from Xuantian. Instead of using magic weapons to sever the corpse, he directly severed it with his physical body. Xuantian had previously given him a drop of essence blood and taught him to cultivate an avatar. At this time, the avatar only had the cultivation level of a celestial immortal.

Cangjie bowed to the avatar and said, "Thank you, fellow Daoist." The evil corpse avatar said, "I am you, there is no need for thanks." Then the avatar transformed into a stream of light and entered Cangjie's body. After withdrawing the avatar, Cangjie cupped his hands to Lu Ya and said, "Thank you for your help, fellow Daoist."

Lu Ya was deeply moved at this moment, his heart filled with resentment. He snorted coldly, said nothing, and was about to leave when Cang Jie suddenly said, "Fellow Daoist, please wait."

Lu Ya turned around and said angrily, "What else do you want?"

Cangjie laughed and said, "The Immortal-Slaying Flying Knife in your hand is truly an evil object. Keeping it might harm the innocent, which would be against the natural order. Why don't you hand it over to me to destroy? That would be a good deed for you."

Upon hearing this, Lu Ya was furious. The Immortal-Slaying Flying Knife was his most relied-upon magic weapon, and he was not willing to hand it over so easily. He coldly said, "My affairs are none of your concern, fellow Daoist."

Cangjie smiled but did not answer. At this moment, a flash of light appeared on the horizon. When they got closer, they saw that it was Huixin and Liaozhen, the brother and sister. The two of them and Cangjie formed a three-element formation to surround Lu Ya in the middle to prevent Lu Ya from escaping.

Seeing this, Lu Ya was even angrier, but now he was in a difficult situation. If it weren't for these two, it would have been fine. He could have flown away using the Rainbow Transformation Technique, and even Cang Jie couldn't catch up. But now Hui Xin and the other two had arrived and surrounded him. All three of them were quasi-saints, so even if he wanted to escape, he couldn't.

Cangjie simply smiled at Lu Ya, while Liao Zhen directly threatened Lu Ya from the side. Liao Zhen patted the top of his head, revealing eight swords, which were the Kunwu Eight Swords. He then prepared to set up an array.

Lu Ya gritted his teeth, took out the Immortal-Slaying Gourd, and tossed it to Cang Jie. Cang Jie caught it easily, took out another bottle from his robes, transferred the Great Witch's Essence from the Immortal-Slaying Gourd into the bottle, and then threw the gourd back to Lu Ya, laughing, "Fellow Daoist is indeed truly virtuous, understanding the will of Heaven above and conforming to the wishes of the people below. The Immortal-Slaying Flying Knife is destroyed, so this item will be returned to you." Hui Xin and the other two simply made way for him.

Lu Ya gritted his teeth in hatred, turned around and flew out of the three people's encirclement. With a flash of light, a voice came from the air: "What happened today will be repaid another day."

Upon hearing this, the three brothers burst into laughter. They knew that if they wanted to settle scores, they would have to wait and see if they had the chance in the future.

After laughing, Huixin and the other two stepped forward and said to Cangjie, "Congratulations, Junior Brother, on your great progress in cultivation." Cangjie smiled wryly and said, "Senior Sister and Senior Brother, please don't make fun of me. Among the four of us in our sect, I am the youngest. I'm afraid my meager cultivation is not worthy of Senior Sister's attention." Cangjie had become much more active since he severed his corpse.

Huixin and the other person smiled but did not speak. They turned to look at the Three Immortals of the Clouds, stepped forward, and said to Yunxiao, "Huixin (Liaozhen) of Penglai Island greets the Three Immortals of the Clouds."

The three Xiao sisters hurriedly said they dared not, as they dared not say anything at this moment. They had all witnessed the three of them forcefully stopping Lu Ya and destroying his magic weapon. Yunxiao said to Cangjie who came up, "Congratulations on your great progress in cultivation, fellow Daoist. You are indeed very fortunate." However, her tone was somewhat sour. Everyone would be a little jealous of Cangjie's situation. He had cultivated for more than a thousand years and had already severed his corpse. Such a speed of cultivation was probably even beyond Hongjun's reach.

Cangjie understood Yunxiao's meaning. Only now did he realize how subtle the Quasi-Saint realm was. Before, compared to Yunxiao, although his cultivation had reached the peak of the Great Luo Golden Immortal realm, he couldn't easily defeat her at the same level. But now, he realized that after entering the Quasi-Saint realm, someone like Yunxiao, a Great Luo Golden Immortal, was really weak, and he could easily defeat her. Of course, this situation was generally impossible. Quasi-Saints were strong, but they also had limitations. Yunxiao's cultivation was almost at the peak of the Great Luo Golden Immortal realm. Given the right opportunity, she could sever her corpse, making her not much weaker than a Mixed Origin Loose Immortal. Moreover, battles between cultivators involved two things: supernatural powers and magical treasures, with cultivation and magical power intertwined. If Yunxiao were to fight Cangjie now, wielding the Mixed Origin Golden Cauldron, Cangjie would likely not fare well.

Like Randeng, although he entered the Quasi-Saint realm very early, he had neither a magic weapon nor any particularly good supernatural powers. Moreover, since joining the Chan Sect, Randeng's cultivation direction has been biased towards the Chan Sect's cultivation method, emphasizing Daoist cultivation over magical power. As a result, although Randeng was born early and attained Dao early, his magical power was not even comparable to Yunxiao's. As a result, Randeng was just a low-level Quasi-Saint and was often bullied by people below the Hunyuan realm.

Liao Zhen stepped forward and bowed to Yun Xiao, saying, "Please let me know, fellow Daoist, that I have your unworthy disciple Yang Jian, who is trapped in this Yellow River Formation. I am his master and hope that you will show some leniency and release him so that I can take him back to the island."

Yunxiao thought for a moment, then, ignoring Bixiao's grumbling, agreed and took Yang Jian from the "Yellow River Formation," handing him to Liaozhen. Liaozhen thanked him again and then returned to Penglai with Huixin and Cangjie.

Now, Jiang Ziya, seeing the Twelve Golden Immortals trapped in the "Yellow River Formation," was secretly anxious. Then, the White Crane Boy from the Jade Void Palace appeared, saying, "Senior Brother, quickly burn incense and prepare decorations! The Lord is arriving!" Ziya hurriedly cleansed himself, held incense by the roadside, and welcomed the imperial carriage. A hazy incense smoke filled the air. How so? A song testifies to this: "From the chaos of time, morality has been wondrous, relying entirely on profound principles to establish the mystery. The Taiji, Yin and Yang, and the Four Symbols, Heaven opened at Zi, Ren was in charge; Earth was Chou, Man Yin, I am in charge; the two volumes of the 'Yellow Court' guide the masses. The Jade Capital and Golden Palace transmit to disciples; the Fire Seed and Golden Lotus are my doing. The six senses are purified to eliminate afflictions; few know the wondrous methods within the mystery. Two fingers can subdue dragons and tigers; eyes move with auspicious light, heaven and earth shift. Auspicious clouds rise thirty thousand feet above the head; colorful clouds surround the body. Leisurely riding a carefree four-legged beast, silently sitting in the Awakening Sandalwood Nine-Dragon Chariot." A strange beast flies in as a handrail, joyfully supporting the three treasures of the jade scepter. A white crane and a blue phoenix lead the way, followed by a red phoenix dancing in celestial robes. Feather fans part the clouds and mist, concealing the immortals. Celestial boys on either side play jade flutes, while yellow-turbaned warriors obey commands. Incense smoke billows, and the immortals follow. The true master expounds the Dao, the Primordial Heavenly Venerable departs from the Jade Pool.
