Then Yun Zhongzi took out another object, which was shaped like a ruyi scepter, another imitation of the Three Treasures Ruyi scepter held by the original. Yun Zhongzi pointed it at Confucius in the air, and the imitation Three Treasures Ruyi scepter was thrown at Confucius. Confucius casually struck it with a foot, knocking the ruyi scepter away. He then took out a brush, the Spring and Autumn Reincarnation Brush. This treasure had been cleansed by many virtues and was extremely powerful, capable of using all kinds of Confucian supernatural powers.
Confucius pointed his pen at Yun Zhongzi, and a golden bridge suddenly appeared in the void, just like Laozi's Taiji diagram. Confucius jumped onto the golden bridge and struck Yun Zhongzi with his ruler.
Yun Zhongzi shouted, "Taiji Diagram!!!" He was extremely surprised. He had also made a copy of the Taiji Diagram, but he only got the form but not the spirit. However, he was very familiar with the aura of the Taiji Diagram. Now, seeing the methods that Confucius used, he realized that they were no different from those of the Taiji Diagram.
Such methods were unique to Confucius. Cangjie's creation of characters, though defying the will of Heaven, was also in accordance with it. In addition to bestowing great merit upon him, Heaven also granted Cangjie the ability to comprehend such writing. Human writing emphasizes conforming to the workings of Heaven, and its ultimate mystery leads directly to the Heavenly Way. If one can thoroughly understand it and deduce its complete supernatural power, even if one's cultivation does not reach the level of a sage, it will not be much weaker.
The art of creating characters, since it originates from the resemblance of all things, begins with copying the forms. Practice makes perfect, then one can perceive the attributes of all things, and finally understand the traces of the Great Dao applied to all things. Copying these traces is the creation of characters. Once the method of divine deduction is successfully established, it is no longer called creating characters, but rather writing—this is the divine power of writing. (A salute to *The Legend of Immortality in Online Games*, a book I absolutely love, especially the section on the divine power of writing; I'm borrowing it here.)
Cangjie's method of mimicking the Taiji diagram's attack was a clever trick. He used the Spring and Autumn Reincarnation Brush to imitate the golden bridge with supernatural powers, imbuing it with some of the Taiji diagram's aura, which completely fooled Yun Zhongzi.
Confucius sighed inwardly, "This thing is powerful, but it consumes a lot of magical energy." He didn't stop, however, and used his hand to strike the Qiankun Ruler towards Yun Zhongzi.
Yun Zhongzi was initially taken aback, but he wasn't stupid. He knew that the golden bridge was created by Confucius through some means, just like his own imitation of a magical artifact. However, Confucius's methods were far more sophisticated. The Taiji Diagram was in Laozi's hands, and Confucius had no chance of obtaining it. Seeing the Qiankun Ruler coming at him, Yun Zhongzi quickly used the Pangu Banner in his hand to block it. The two objects collided, but only a "crack" was heard, and the imitation Pangu Banner shattered.
"It's not the real thing after all!" Yun Zhongzi sighed, no longer daring to get entangled with the Qiankun Ruler, and quickly moved aside.
"How could you possibly let go of something that took so much of my magical power to create?" Confucius thought to himself. He saw that Yun Zhongzi was about to turn around and avoid the Qiankun Ruler, but he was on the golden bridge that Confucius had created using his supernatural powers of writing. As soon as he tried to avoid it, he was still hit by the Qiankun Ruler. With another sound, the imitation Xuanhuang Pagoda shattered.
This golden bridge is modeled after the Tai Chi diagram. This kind of method is similar to that world in a certain sense. On the golden bridge, I am strong and the enemy is weak. The golden bridge itself can defend against energy attacks. If it is a golden bridge transformed from the genuine Tai Chi diagram used by Laozi, it can suppress earth, water, wind and fire. With a wave of the hand, it can pierce through heaven and earth. It is a multi-functional magic weapon that combines defense and offense. However, this kind of method is not very outstanding.
On the true Taiji diagram, just like Laozi's world, everything is done by the world's master. Back when the Investiture of the Gods was held, the five saints fought a great battle. Tongtian unleashed his power and made the other saints suffer greatly, but only Laozi, relying on the Taiji diagram in his hand, firmly restrained Tongtian and allowed him to do as he pleased.
Although this evolved form of written supernatural power is not as good as the real thing, it is still somewhat effective. Yun Zhongzi's cultivation is a notch lower than Confucius's, so how could he avoid the impact of the Qiankun Ruler?

Yun Zhongzi was startled but remained calm, knowing that his imitation could not compare to the original. Seeing that the Xuanhuang Pagoda was also shattered, Yun Zhongzi made a snap decision, suddenly flicked his sleeve, and poured out several magical treasures. This action surprised everyone present.
The items that Yun Zhongzi revealed included the Southern Flame Banner that Zhuangzi was using, the Central Earth-guarding Apricot Yellow Banner, the Heaven-Turning Seal in Guang Chengzi's hand, the Yin-Yang Mirror in Chi Jingzi's hand, the Nine Dragons Divine Fire Cover of Taiyi Zhenren, the Five Fire Divine Flame Fan of Daode Zhenjun... He had imitations of everything that the Twelve Golden Immortals of the Chan Sect possessed, and even the God-Slaying Whip that Jiang Ziya had once used. The array of items was dazzling and countless.
Seeing this, everyone knew it wasn't real, but they couldn't help but sigh, "Yun Zhongzi is indeed amazing!"
Amidst the chaos of the forty-five battles, the Heavenly Court displayed its might; and did they know that Penglai had no other options?
Looking at the magical treasures floating around Yun Zhongzi, Confucius was at a loss for words. Although he knew that those magical treasures were all imitations, he still couldn't help but shudder. These magical treasures were not simple at all!
Yun Zhongzi certainly went to great lengths; these magical artifacts were indeed his imitations, but imitating them also requires materials and considerable effort. Adding to the number of failed attempts, the quantity of these artifacts produced far exceeded their value, and they were practically useless, which was truly frustrating.
Meanwhile, Zhuangzi and Han Fei were fighting. Han Fei was furious because he had been ambushed by the Heavenly Seal earlier. If his attacks were incredibly fierce before, now they were like an overwhelming force. Every spear thrust was aimed at Zhuangzi with an unstoppable momentum. The way he used the spear showed how angry he was.
Zhuangzi also proceeded with extreme caution. He was extremely displeased with Guang Chengzi's sneak attack, as he considered such behavior utterly shameless. However, the Ren and Chan sects were allies, and besides, Guang Chengzi was trying to help him, so it wasn't right to blame others for the incident.
