Taiyi Zhenren laughed and said, "Why do you say that, Senior Brother? Those three schools of Confucianism, Mohism, and Legalism do not understand the timing of Heaven and do not comprehend the Great Dao. They vainly attempt to contend with the will of Heaven by force, but their calamity is about to arrive. We have been sent by the Jade Emperor of Heaven, and what we should do is to follow the correct principles of Heaven." After saying this, the Ren and Chan sects burst into laughter.
In the Qin army formation.
Han Fei glared at the sky with hatred and roared, "That Haotian is courting death! Since he sent troops to help, why does he have to oppose my Penglai Island?"
Mozi (Suyu) laughed and said, "Junior brother is too anxious. Are we afraid of him? This time we will make sure he can't leave."
Han Fei glanced at Mozi with a puzzled look. Previously, the combined forces of the Ren and Chan sects had already brought them to a standstill. Although the disciples of the Ren and Chan sects were not highly skilled, they had a large number of people. Penglai Island was only one sect, so it was not advisable to expose its strength too much. This time, with only the three of them, plus the 200,000 troops sent by the Heavenly Court, they would have a hard time dealing with them.
Cangjie smiled and said, "Senior brother, have you forgotten your real senior brother?"
Upon hearing this, Han Fei burst into laughter.
When the time came, Zhuangzi stepped forward and said, "You have acted against Heaven. This time, we must bring you to our master's court to be held accountable."
Han Fei laughed loudly, stood up, and in a flash stood in the void. He said to Zhuangzi, "No need for further words, let's just have a fight."
Zhuangzi's face darkened, and he said, "In that case, don't blame me for being ruthless."
Han Fei smiled but did not answer. He took out his magic sword and casually slashed, sending a golden sword aura toward the manor. Wherever the sword aura passed, the space shattered, making a series of cracking sounds as if cutting paper. The three million Qi soldiers below changed their expressions drastically, and their legs went weak. This kind of sword aura eventually grew to a size of a hundred meters, shattering the void. How could mortals compare?
Zhuangzi laughed and said, "This is but a trivial skill." With that, he waved his whisk, and an invisible force blocked the sword energy. Instantly, the two forces exploded a hundred meters apart, shattering everything in their path.
Seeing the immense power of their fight, Han Fei feared it might injure the soldiers below. He glanced at Zhuangzi, then rose and flew into the sky. Zhuangzi understood his meaning and followed him.
At a height of hundreds of miles in the sky, seeing that fighting here would not harm anyone else, the two decided to start fighting.
Han Fei laughed loudly, his black hair fluttering in the wind. He held his long sword upside down and slashed at Zhuangzi. Just as he was about to strike, several fire lotuses appeared around Zhuangzi, blocking his attack and preventing Han Fei's sword from penetrating.
"The Southern Flame Banner!" Han Fei exclaimed in surprise. The object that blocked his sword was none other than the Southern Flame Banner that Laozi had obtained from the Treasure Sharing Cliff.
Zhuangzi chuckled and said, "Fellow Daoist has a good eye."
Han Fei sneered, "I dare not accept such praise; this item is indeed a waste."
Upon hearing this, Zhuangzi was furious. Where did this talk of waste come from? It was clearly an admission that he was incompetent. He angrily said, "Then I shall see your Legalist Great Way." With that, he waved his whisk and unleashed several bolts of Taiqing Divine Thunder.
Although Han Fei said this, he dared not relax. When he saw the Taiqing Divine Thunder coming, he turned around and also unleashed several Dutian Divine Thunders. The two were of the same origin and met and annihilated each other, exploding. Zhuangzi suddenly felt a blur before his eyes and saw that Han Fei had already approached. He was startled and dodged the long sword. Fortunately, the Flame Light Banner of the Ground had excellent defense, and only a few fire lotuses were cut off.
Even so, it gave him a big fright. He had long heard that the disciples of Penglai Island were good at close combat, but he did not expect that Han Fei was so cunning and took advantage of the situation to attack. If it weren't for the protection of the Flame Banner, he would have lost the battle first. So Zhuangzi became very careful.
Han Fei sighed, thinking to himself: "These Five Banners of Heaven and Earth are indeed powerful; this attack was wasted." However, he wasn't discouraged. After all, his opponent had such a treasure protecting him, and breaking through their defenses in a short time was impossible.
Han Fei sighed and said, "Fellow Daoist, you have quite a fine magic weapon."
Upon hearing this, Zhuangzi laughed at the superiority of his magical artifact. Though annoyed, he remained silent, channeling his magical power. With a swift movement, he gathered his primordial energy into a hand and reached out to grasp Han Fei. Han Fei laughed loudly, "How could I let you do this?" He slashed horizontally with his longsword, cleaving the primordial energy hand in two. Han Fei then thrust forward, his sword flashing with golden light, as if containing tangible golden flames.
Zhuangzi sighed, "Immeasurable Heavenly Venerable." He threw out an object, which was the Flaming Banner that rose from the ground. The banner rose and stood above Zhuangzi's head. Han Fei's sword attacked, but Zhuangzi was surrounded by a flash of red light, and hundreds of flames blocked him. Han Fei's sword pierced through several of them, and the lotus flowers shattered, fell, and dissipated. When he tried to go in again, the lotus flowers rose up again and blocked the sword.
Zhuangzi sneered, "How could it be so easily broken!" With a flick of his whisk, he unleashed several beams of Taiqing Immortal Light, their power formidable. Han Fei, however, did not meet them, dodging them with a swift movement. A flash of golden light enveloped him, and his appearance drastically changed. He was no longer the man in the golden robe he had been before. Now, Han Fei was clad in scale armor, like a celestial general. The scale armor covered his entire body, gleaming with golden light, completely obscuring him. A helmet covered his head, protecting his entire face, leaving only his nose and above exposed. The helmet was adorned with winged ornaments, and a tuft of golden mane shone brightly in the center. The longsword in his hand had been replaced by a twelve-foot-long spear, its black shaft gleaming with dark light. The aura it exuded even startled Zhuangzi.
This armor was forged from the shed material of Jin Linzi when he transformed. When demons and other creatures attain enlightenment and transform, they often retain a portion of the material they shed before their original form. Jin Linzi was originally a Qilin with the innate Geng metal attribute. After transforming, he forged his shed scales into a suit of armor. Later, he encountered Xuan Tian, who collected many materials to reforge this suit of armor. Now it looks golden and magnificent. Although the armor's defense is not as good as the Five Directions Flag, it is still not to be underestimated. With twenty-eight layers of restrictions from the acquired spiritual treasure, it is the first choice for close combat.
That spear was the Heaven-Splitting Spear bestowed by Xuan Tian (uh, it was actually written as the God-Slaying Spear earlier, haha, that's hilarious). The entire spear was pitch black, extremely sharp, and exuded a killing aura. But paired with Han Fei's current appearance, it didn't look bad at all; on the contrary, it made him look even more imposing.
