Shui Yanling slowly pulled back the long red ribbon, and a long arrow made of black flames was held in her hand, aimed at the body of the three-headed hellhound.

At this moment, Shui Yanling seemed to have transformed into a female war goddess, ready to unleash her power.

I swung the black ball in my hand and pushed it directly at that beast.

The black ball slipped directly from my hand and charged towards the three-headed hellhound.

The instant I pushed the black ball away, Shui Yanling released her grip on the arrow string, and the long arrow formed from black flames whistled towards the beast.

Chapter 81 Panic in My Heart

Compared to my black ball, Shui Yanling's black arrow was actually faster, rushing straight in front of my black ball.

Then, two black flames suddenly appeared from the tail of the black arrow, completely enveloping the black sphere behind it. At first glance, it looked as if the black sphere had sprouted a pair of wings.

Suddenly, its speed increased, chasing after the black arrow with overwhelming force, rushing straight towards the beast. The powerful energy fluctuations seemed to spread even before it arrived, emitting violent waves in the air.

The three-headed hellhound was also in a great panic. Seeing the black ball and rocket hurtling towards it, its whole body trembled, the fur on its neck stood up straight, and its three wolf heads kept howling.

Just as the black arrow was about to arrive, something happened that was both logical and unexpected.

Behind the three-headed hellhound, the vortex that had been inside the golden gate suddenly closed.

My already pale face, which had been pale after throwing the black ball, looked even worse now. Shui Yanling's face was not much better, and Grandpa even stood up.

At the last moment, the three-headed hellhound completely broke through the seal and its entire body broke free from the vortex.

But there's nothing more we can do. We've done everything we can, and all we can do now is wait and see what happens.

"Roar!" As soon as the three-headed hellhound emerged, it roared madly at the sky. Its already enormous body grew even larger after being freed from the seal, making it look even more like a monster.

The black arrow had already arrived, piercing the chest of the three-headed hellhound. Suddenly, a huge black flame spread out from the spot where it had been pierced.

Then it instantly wrapped around its entire massive body and burst into flames.

A painful howl emanated from its three heads, as if the flames were causing it extreme suffering.

In the blink of an eye, it turned out that this beast was not to be trifled with. In an instant, its wolf head shot forward, spewing out ghostly fire and poisonous gas once again.

They formed a defensive barrier right in front of the three-headed hellhound. The reason they prioritized defense over extinguishing the black flames on their bodies was that the black sphere was heading straight for it after the black arrow.

Although it had broken through the seal, the fear it felt from the black sphere was still very strong. Not only that, it had originally thought that it would be able to withstand the impact once it broke through the seal.

However, it seemed to have overestimated itself or underestimated the power of the black flame. After experiencing it firsthand, it panicked even more. The black flame felt exactly the same as the one it knew.

At this moment, it was completely unable to extinguish the black flames on its body. Moreover, if it really was that thing, there were very few in this world who could extinguish it.

Moreover, there was a black ball following closely behind, so it had to deploy its defenses first.

But even it didn't expect that there were two black flames floating on the black ball's body.

Time seemed to stand still at that moment. The black sphere didn't even pause; it directly shattered the defense composed of ghostly flames and poisonous gas, leaving a hole the size of an egg.

The black ball crashed into the Cerberus's body before the Cerberus could even react.

A violent energy explosion, accompanied by a gale, emanated from Cerberus and spread in all directions.

The enormous three-headed hellhound was directly enveloped at the center of the energy explosion, while huge black flames scattered in all directions during the blast.

The enormous explosion resounded throughout the entire canyon, and Shui Yanling, Grandpa, and I were blown away by the fierce wind.

This time, the "howl" was different from the previous beastly roars; it sounded more like a mournful wolf howl coming from the center of the explosion.

After being blown away, Shui Yanling and I rolled directly on the ground. Grandpa tried to block the attack with his peach wood sword as the gale came, but the explosion of this powerful energy was simply too strong.

Even though Grandpa blocked it, he was still shaken and slammed into the rock where he had initially hidden from the ghost soldiers, then spat out a mouthful of blood.

Grandpa hadn't recovered yet, so he couldn't stop it. When we saw him hit the rock, Yanling and I quickly got up and ran towards him.

As a result of this clash of energies, Shui Yanling and I were not much better off, with traces of blood at the corners of our mouths.

"Grandpa, how are you?" We hurriedly helped Grandpa up and asked.

Grandpa climbed down from the rock, shook his head at us to indicate that he was alright, and then looked directly at the center of the energy explosion.
