In an instant, as if a fully inflated balloon had been punctured, countless violent energies of heaven and earth were ignited.

A deafening roar, like a giant bomb, echoed from the center of the canyon, blasting open the massive cracks that had previously formed there. Debris fell into the abyss.

The space itself seemed to be ignited, with raging flames bursting forth. The corpse of the three-headed hellhound was instantly reduced to ashes in the explosion, and even the black flames vanished.

The giant golden gate finally changed, emitting intense golden light as if it couldn't withstand the explosion.

Soon, the canyon's dome shattered completely, like a landslide, with countless stones tumbling down from above. The golden gate, however, remained motionless, its golden light emanating from it, and was buried beneath the dense mass of large and small rocks, its golden glow completely obscured.

We quickly ran up the wooden stairs, completely oblivious to how far it was up there.

We're much faster now than when we started, but it still doesn't feel like enough.

I am fundamentally different from before. Although all three of us are injured, our speed has not slowed down. I can hardly believe that I have such strong stamina now.

It felt like I was flying; my toes barely touched the stairs before I soared higher and higher. But I didn't have time to appreciate it then.

After hearing that loud bang, the entire staircase began to shake violently, as if the entire space was about to collapse, and huge rocks kept falling from above us.

Grandpa took the lead. Although he was the most seriously injured of the three of us, it was not noticeable at the moment. Grandpa held a peach wood sword, the blade of which emitted a faint light.

Whenever a boulder blocked our path, Grandpa would quickly strike and smash it into pieces, seemingly unaffected by the impact.

Stone fragments kept coming from ahead, but I didn't care at all. I charged straight at them, and the stones hit my face.

But I couldn't worry about that now, I could only rush forward. I glanced at Yanling out of the corner of my eye and found that she was actually a few points faster than me.

But she was also watching me closely, as if afraid I would fall behind. Grandpa was clearing the way for us, but he was also keeping an eye on me.

Thinking about this made me feel even more upset. I wish I could be stronger.

Chapter 85 The End of the Sight

Just as I was speeding along, feeling a bit annoyed, a golden light suddenly shot straight up from behind us and arrived beside us in an instant.

I was startled, my face turned pale, and I slowed down.

The golden light was moving extremely fast. If we were to describe our current state as flying, then it was flying.

The entire ball of golden light floated in the air, like a rocket, speeding past us and instantly overtaking us before disappearing into the distance.

However, after examining the golden light closely, my face turned ashen. The golden light clearly paused here as it passed by us.

At that moment, I saw the true form of the golden light. Under the glittering golden light, it turned out to be a miniature version of Cerberus with three heads.

At this moment, for some reason, its body has shrunk to about the size of my palm, and its whole body is radiating golden light. If you are far away, you can't see its true form at all.

This miniature version of Cerberus is practically a scaled-down version of that beast, and it looks exactly like it, except that the two wolf heads that we blew off somehow grew back.

As it passed by us, I clearly saw a hint of malice in its eyes, but it did not attack us. Instead, it glanced at us, then flashed with golden light and quickly rushed out in a straight line, disappearing from our sight in an instant.

Didn't Cerberus self-destruct? How come it's still here? And for some reason, its size has shrunk so much. Compared to its expanded form, it's like a mountain and an ant, there's no comparison at all.

Even after the miniature Cerberus disappeared, we didn't stop running and continued upwards.

Grandpa and Shui Yanling also saw the golden light. After the miniature Cerberus disappeared in a beam of golden light, Grandpa and Shui Yanling's faces turned ashen.

"Grandpa, what is that? Didn't Cerberus self-destruct?" I asked Grandpa as I ran alongside him.

Grandpa said fiercely, "That beast tricked us! It didn't choose to self-destruct along with its body, but instead came up with this 'golden cicada shedding its shell' method!" Hearing Grandpa's words, I gritted my teeth. Although I didn't know what the nascent soul was, I knew it would definitely survive.

"Anyway, let's get out of here first and then talk about it. Our main goal right now is to survive in this underground place!" Grandpa said, then turned around and unleashed another sword aura from below, directly cleaving a boulder falling from above into many pieces, which then fell back down.

"Mmm," I nodded and didn't ask any further questions. Indeed, if you're not going to survive, there's no point in saying anything.
