Shui Yanling's cold voice came through, devoid of any emotion, as if it came from the abyss.

Shi Long narrowed his eyes, then nodded, which was taken as an agreement.

Then he saw Shui Yanling's expression change drastically again, and she returned to her gentle and weak appearance once more, which made Shi Long secretly gasp. This woman's face changes faster than flipping through a book. Fortunately, Mei Li is not like that. Thinking about it, he secretly glanced at Mei Li.

Mei Li seemed to know what he was thinking. She snorted coldly, rolled her eyes at him, and went back to lean against the window.

I continued to wait outside, and after a long time, I saw the crowded people disperse a bit. The greasy man, with a box under his arm and another in his hand, was slowly walking over from the crowd, like a victorious general. When he got to me, he seemed to be intentionally or unintentionally shaking the boxed lunch in his hand, as if he was showing off.

I shook my head helplessly. This world really has all kinds of people. Thinking this to myself, I walked towards the dining car, which had a small number of people.

"Give me two boxed meals and four bottles of water."

"Okay, that's exactly the last two boxes."

The man selling boxed lunches was middle-aged. He looked kind and honest, and he was efficient and quick in packing my lunch and handing it to me.

When I returned to the private room, Shi Long had pulled out a newspaper from somewhere and was reading it, while Yan Ling was eating a bag of snacks intermittently, and the woman named Mei Li was still in the same position. I even wondered if she had been standing like that the whole way.

The greasy man was busy preparing his second boxed lunch and didn't even glance at me. When Shi Long saw me return, he greeted me with a smile, and we handed him our two bottles of water.

When Yanling saw me come back, she put down the snacks she was holding, turned around and took the lunchbox from my hand.

Shi Long gave me change, but I didn't take it. I didn't have much money anyway, and besides, we got along quite well. Seeing that I really didn't intend to accept it, he smiled and said thank you.

To be honest, the boxed meals on the train didn't taste very good, and the portions were small. But thinking that we still had a long way to go, we didn't complain and finished them quickly. Yanling, on the other hand, ate slowly and took a long time to finish half of her meal before saying that she was full.

The greasy man had already finished both boxed meals, casually tossed the boxes aside, and then lay on the bed, letting out thunderous snoring.

All I could do was throw the box he left behind and our box into the trash can outside.

Then I chatted with Shilong for a while. Yanling said she was a little tired and went to sleep on the middle bunk. I originally wanted to sleep on the middle bunk, since the man holding the urn was on the upper bunk, and I thought she might be scared as a girl. But Yanling told me it was okay and then went to lie down on the middle bunk by herself.

I didn't insist and slept on the lower bunk, while Shi Long simply put his hands behind his head and lay down, while Mei Li was still leaning against the windowsill with her hat pulled low, making it impossible to see her face. She didn't seem to have any intention of going to bed either.

I don't know why, but I also felt a bit tired, and my whole body ached. Even though the greasy man's snoring was thunderous, I still fell asleep after lying in bed for a short while.

I don't know how much time had passed. I was sleeping soundly when suddenly the metal bunk bed seemed to shake gently. I slowly opened my sleepy eyes and turned my head to look. It turned out that the thin man on the upper bunk was getting out of bed. I checked the time on my phone; it was exactly one in the morning. I didn't know what he was going to do, but I saw him quietly slip out with the urn in his arms. Maybe he was going to the toilet. I didn't think much of it, but I felt that even taking the urn with him to the toilet meant that the deceased must have been a close relative. I shook my head and went back to sleep.

After a while, another sound came, but it wasn't from our bed, but from the bed where Shi Long was. This time, I didn't even open my eyes.

On the bed next to him, Shi Long opened his eyes and saw the greasy man sleeping on the upper bunk suddenly clutching his stomach and rushing out, releasing some kind of gas as he did so. Shi Long glanced at him with some disgust and then closed his eyes again, while the woman wearing a baseball cap didn't even raise her head.

After a long while, I vaguely heard sounds coming from outside, as if someone had returned. I didn't pay any attention and then slowly drifted off to sleep.

Not long after, I was gently woken up by Shi Long, who told me with a serious expression that something had happened.

I woke up instantly. Something was wrong? Had the ghost hand come out again while I was asleep? The thought sent chills down my spine. I quickly got up to check on Shui Yanling and found that she was also awake, sitting on the edge of the bed looking at me.

Seeing that Yanling was alright, I felt half relieved, but what exactly happened? I stared at Shilong and asked.

Shi Long paused for a moment and then told me that the greasy man was dead, in the toilet of this carriage.

My mind was a bit confused, and before I could ask him how he died, Shi Long's voice came through.

"When Mei Li went to the toilet earlier, she suddenly found his body lying next to the toilet."

I was very anxious and scared. Could it be because of the ghost hand on my body again? Of course, Shi Long didn't tell the truth. In fact, Shi Long was lying in bed when suddenly a sound came from outside, and then he smelled a faint smell of blood. Shi Long realized something was wrong and quickly took Mei Li out to check. They saw the man's corpse lying next to the toilet, with nothing else around.

However, Shi Long was not the first to discover it; the first to discover it was Shui Yanling, because she suddenly sensed a chilling ghostly aura coming from outside. However, she did not act rashly, but chose to observe quietly.
