"Put your hand on this door and see if you can sense anything."

Grandpa spoke up to remind him.

I nodded and did as Grandpa said.

I placed my hand on the giant door, feeling it carefully. I slowly closed my eyes and felt a cool sensation in my palm, but I couldn't feel anything else.

But I didn't give up. Since this door is related to my father, it should also resonate with the blood of my father in my body. That's my idea, and I think my grandfather thought so too.

Grandpa and Shui Yanling were watching me closely, because they couldn't help me either. Now I had to rely on myself to see if I could find that thing.

After what seemed like an eternity, I still didn't feel anything, and I started to doubt whether this approach was correct.

However, just when I was about to give up, I suddenly felt a very strange change, as if a powerful energy was surging out of my body.

The energy wasn't as intense as when I first punched down the tree king's vines; it gave me a warm, comforting feeling, like basking in the sun.

At that moment, I didn't see it, but Grandpa and Shui Yanling clearly saw that the jade pendant hanging on my wrist emitted a faint green light and then floated in front of me.

Grandpa and Yanling were both watching what was happening on my side without saying a word, but their eyes were filled with deep worry.

After the jade pendant emitted a faint green light, the enormous golden door seemed to develop some kind of mysterious connection with it.

The giant golden gate was now emitting a faint golden light. The moment Grandpa and Yanling saw the gate emitting light, it was as if a series of clanging sounds came from the gate.

It was as if something was frantically pounding on the door from the other side, and a strong aura of killing intent emanated from the wounds on the door.

Suddenly, Grandpa and Shui Yanling felt as if they were in a huge ancient battlefield, with sounds of fighting and shouting everywhere.

Even though Grandpa and Yanling were so strong, they felt suffocated by the murderous aura. Shui Yanling even felt like vomiting.

At this moment, I was in a strange state, as if I was enveloped by a ball of energy within my body, feeling as if I was about to ascend to heaven in broad daylight.

At that moment, I suddenly felt a rhythm from the giant golden gate in my palm, and that rhythm seemed to resonate with the energy within me.

The two were intertwined inside my body, like a couple, completely disregarding my feelings, showing affection inside me. But at that moment, I could do nothing but watch them helplessly.

But at this moment, no one noticed that when these two energies appeared in my body, the ghost head on my arm seemed to be very afraid, and even its color seemed to have faded a lot. If you didn't look closely, you couldn't see it at all.

The ghost head seemed to be trying its best to hide itself, as if afraid of being discovered by the two energies.

Those two energies lingered in my body for a long time before they seemed to remember that I even existed.

They seemed to be holding hands, and after a moment of swaying, they flashed onto my chest. Then I saw that they were actually embracing each other, and then they started to rotate on my chest.

At that moment, I felt my whole body become lighter, and then I slowly floated up. I quickly opened my eyes and saw a scene that I couldn't believe.

All I could see was myself floating in mid-air, right in the middle of that huge golden gate. Looking down from here, I saw someone who looked exactly like me standing in front of that gate, their hands pressed tightly against it, completely still.

In my hand, a jade pendant with many cracks is floating quietly in the air, emitting a faint green light.

I also saw my grandfather and Shui Yanling not far from me, both of them covering their heads and looking pale, as if they were in great pain.

"Grandpa, Yanling, what's wrong? Are you alright?" I asked them anxiously, sensing that something had happened to them.

But they seemed not to hear my voice, still clutching their heads and looking distressed, their eyes seemingly still fixed on me standing before the giant gate.

I couldn't help but glance at myself, only to find that I was as if I were transparent.

"What's going on? Did my soul leave my body?" I couldn't help but wonder, but I already knew the answer in my heart, because this was no longer a miracle.

Last time, it was in my rented room. The old beggar wanted to help me brush off the dirt on my body, but he used too much force, and just like now, he brushed my soul out.

The situation now seems similar to that time, so I'm a little panicked. Last time, my soul was sent out by the old beggar, but it returned after a while. Why am I able to see my surroundings so clearly this time?

Actually, even if my soul left my body, Grandpa and Shui Yanling should have been able to see me. However, the murderous aura emanating from the giant golden gate completely confused their senses, which is why they couldn't see me floating in mid-air.

At this moment, I am completely still in front of the golden gate, my eyes closed as if I were asleep.

I stared at the scene, bewildered, at the massive gate before me.
