I was still floating in the formation, but the place had completely changed. There was an ancient sky, a golden sea, not a breath of wind, and it stretched as far as the eye could see.
Right now, I am standing on this golden sea, which is completely still, without a single wave or ripple, like a dead sea.
I've been to this place before. Looking at this familiar scene, my face turned pale. This is the same sea I saw in my dream last time.
The last time was right here. It was as if that thing inside me emerged from the seabed and tried to devour me. That was also the first time I heard its voice.
It demanded that I return something, and then threatened to engulf me in darkness.
I remember that time vividly. If it weren't for the protective shield formed by the jade pendant and the Taoist priest who descended from the sky afterward, I would probably be dead here.
Later, when I woke up, I remembered some things that were not very clear at first, but when I saw this golden sea, I remembered everything.
Where am I now? I couldn't help but feel a headache coming on. I hadn't even had time to think about this series of events before I was about to enter a new mystery, from the things my parents left me, to that desert, to the war in the ghost realm, and now to this golden sea.
It all seems to be related to a secret, but I can't see the truth. This feeling is making me very uncomfortable. In my daze, I seem to have grasped some clues, but then again, I don't. My head feels like it's about to explode.
I could only hold my head and lie on the magic circle, but I found that the magic circle under me was inexplicably starting to rotate.
The two spheres of energy suddenly appeared out of nowhere, but instead of surrounding me, they stood on either side of the formation. To my astonishment, they transformed into two human figures and sat cross-legged on the formation.
I couldn't make out what they looked like at all. I could only vaguely make out the shape of a woman in the golden light, and a burly man in the green light.
Just as I was trying to see what they looked like, the formation beneath my feet suddenly shook, and I lost my balance and ended up kneeling on it.
Then I saw a lot of eerie ghostly energy rising from the edge of the formation, but from the other end, a bright aura rose. However, I felt that these two auras did not collide with each other, but rather seemed to be compatible.
The two streams of energy rushed towards me from the left and right, and then actually burrowed into my lower abdomen.
"Ah!" The extreme pain forced me to scream out. It was so painful, it felt like my stomach was about to burst, and a large amount of energy was filling my body.
Then it rampaged through my body, as if it couldn't find an outlet, randomly ramming into me.
Not only that, but a continuous stream of energy was surging in from the outside. For a moment, I felt like I was living a life worse than death, and my skin felt like it was crawling with countless ants.
Before long, my eyes were bloodshot. This feeling was so unbearable that even the legendary torture of being torn to pieces couldn't compare to this.
"Ah!" After another scream, my consciousness completely disappeared, while the two humanoid figures formed from the initial energy were still watching from the side.
The woman in the golden robes seemed reluctant and almost wanted to stop them, but the imposing green figure glared at her, signaling her not to disturb them.
Helpless, the golden-haired woman could only endure it, then turned her head to the side, seemingly unable to bear seeing this scene.
Even after I lost consciousness, the energy continued to flow into my lower abdomen, and the energy within my body became even more violent.
A hint of worry flashed in the eyes of the green-clad man outside, but he remained standing by with his arms crossed, showing no sign of making a move.
However, upon closer inspection, one would notice that his originally imposing figure seemed to be trembling slightly.
A frenzied energy raged within me, but there was no way for it to pass through, as if all paths were inherently blocked.
I could no longer feel the immense pain after I lost consciousness, but my furrowed brows seemed to be telling me just how much pain my body was in.
"Pfft!" Just as the golden-haired woman was about to turn around in worry, a soft sound, like a balloon popping, came from inside my body.
Upon hearing the voice, the golden-haired woman quickly turned around, tears welling up in her eyes and rolling down her cheeks in excitement. The green-haired man couldn't help but smile upon hearing the voice.
Then the green-clad man quickly stood up, and the golden-clad woman immediately threw herself into his arms. The two of them looked at me, who was now lying quietly on the magic circle, their eyes filled with relief.
At this moment, I am still unconscious, and the endless ghostly energy and light energy are still drilling into my lower abdomen, but the violent energy in my body at the beginning is no longer there.
The energy that couldn't find an outlet in my body suddenly broke through one of the pathways, spreading along that pathway into half of my body, and even directly opening up a meridian from my lower abdomen to my brain.
I felt a sudden sense of relief, and energy flowed continuously from the magic circle into my lower abdomen, then surged throughout my body, as if nourishing my body, making me feel incredibly comfortable.
