Ten Thousand Immortals Formation

It was Cangjie, the fourth disciple of Penglai Island. Cangjie had come under his master's orders to save some disciples of the Jie Sect from the Ten Thousand Immortals Formation, and the Golden Spirit Mother was one of the important figures that Xuan Tian had ordered to be protected. Seeing that the Golden Spirit Mother was about to perish, Cangjie quickly used his unique supernatural power to block the Sea-Stabilizing Pearl of the Burning Lamp and save the Golden Spirit Mother.

When Randeng saw Cangjie blocking his way, he was annoyed and asked, "What is the meaning of this, fellow Daoist?"

Cangjie landed calmly and pulled Jinling Shengmu behind him to protect her. Although Randeng and the others wanted to stop him, it was useless. After all, the person in front of them was not a weakling, but a quasi-saint and a Hunyuan Loose Immortal.

After protecting the Golden Spirit Mother, Cangjie turned around, adopting a compassionate and benevolent demeanor. He bowed to Randeng and the three great bodhisattvas, saying, "I also want you fellow Daoists to know that this Golden Spirit Mother is destined to be my mount. I hope you will grant my request." He then secretly transmitted his voice to the Golden Spirit Mother, instructing her not to speak and to follow his instructions. The Golden Spirit Mother, knowing her current predicament, could not object and simply obeyed Cangjie's orders.

Upon hearing this, Randeng and the others were immediately displeased, thinking to themselves, "We've fought so hard, and in the end, it's all yours." Randeng, true to his reputation as a cunning old fox, immediately turned around and said, "Fellow Daoist, you are mistaken. This wicked creature has acted against the heavens, entangled in karma, and committed grave sins. He deserves to be listed on the Investiture of the Gods." The three great masters also nodded in agreement.

Cangjie knew they wouldn't let Jinling Shengmu off so easily. Upon hearing Ran Deng's words, he immediately said, "Fellow Daoist, you may not know this, but although Jinling Shengmu has done something against the heavens and hindered the Investiture of the Gods, she was actually acting on the orders of her master, Tongtian Shishu. As her disciple, how dare I disobey my master's command? I presume you are a reasonable person and wouldn't make things difficult for someone with such a predicament. Furthermore, while Penglai Island may not be as skilled as you in other areas, we are quite adept at guiding people towards good. After Jinling Shengmu comes to Penglai Island, she will naturally not repeat such behavior and will surely repent and turn to good. Besides, even if we disciples are incapable, we have our master to watch over her. I believe that with Jinling Shengmu's abilities, she cannot escape the supervision of my master."

The Golden Spirit Mother, listening from the side, was furious. Although Cangjie had tried to save her, he had made a terrible accusation against her Jie Sect, which still made her feel uneasy. Just as she was about to retort, she heard Cangjie transmit his voice, "Senior Sister, don't be anxious. This was taught by my teacher. If you want to blame me, please wait until this matter is resolved before discussing it further." These words calmed the Golden Spirit Mother down. After all, it was Xuan Tian's arrangement, and the Golden Spirit Mother couldn't very well refute it.

Cangjie's words were so eloquent that Randeng had no idea how to refute them. He first said that the Golden Spirit Mother's actions were arranged by the Tongtian Sect Leader, and even if she made a mistake, it was still the Tongtian Sect Leader's fault. Everyone understood this principle, but it couldn't be said openly. Moreover, Cangjie's words were also very clear: if you want to cause trouble for the Golden Spirit Mother, you should first cause trouble for the Tongtian Sect Leader. This was naturally impossible. Don't be fooled by the arrogance of the people of the Chan Sect. They would never dare to be enemies with a sage.

Furthermore, Cangjie said he wanted to bring the Golden Spirit Mother to the island to teach her, which made it difficult for Randeng to object. Cangjie said that although their island might not have many other skills, they did have the ability to guide people towards goodness. If Randeng objected, it would be seen as looking down on Penglai Island. Looking down on Penglai Island would only lead to trouble. Considering Xuantian's character, he would surely kill you.

Randeng understood this in his heart, but Cangjie's words were too perfect. Even if there were loopholes, Randeng dared not seize them. He might accidentally mention the trouble of a sage. Although there were four of them on his side, as well as other disciples of the Chan Sect, they dared not easily make a move against a quasi-sage. Moreover, this quasi-sage was a quasi-sage with extremely great merit. He could neither hit him nor kill him. Wouldn't that just be asking for trouble?

Cangjie, naturally, wouldn't wait for them to finish their fuss before resolving the matter. Taking advantage of their predicament, Cangjie, along with the Golden Spirit Mother, left the great formation and flew towards Penglai Island. Randeng and the three great Bodhisattvas didn't stop them. Randeng didn't want to interfere, as he didn't want to cause trouble for himself. The three great Bodhisattvas, however, couldn't cause trouble even if they wanted to. Although they had received the secret techniques bestowed by Zhunti and recovered some of their strength, they were no match for Cangjie and naturally dared not obstruct him.

Although Randeng was frustrated, he still knew what he should do. He used the Dinghai Pearl to attack the disciples of the Jie Sect. The disciples were either killed by Randeng and their true spirits were listed on the Investiture of the Gods, or they were injured and thrown to the ground by Zhunti, who was nearby. The two cooperated closely, like partners who had been training for a long time. Later, Randeng stopped killing the disciples and just knocked them down one by one, and then Zhunti would deal with them.

Jiang Ziya, standing to the side, also displayed his divine power. Most of the disciples of the Jie Sect in this Ten Thousand Immortals Formation were among those listed on the leaderboard, and he could freely lash them with his God-Slaying Whip, sweeping away the frustration he felt earlier. Yang Ren then used his Five Fire Fans to ignite a raging inferno within the Ten Thousand Immortals Formation, with thousands of feet of black smoke obscuring the sky, a pitiful sight of the ten thousand immortals suffering. The disciples of Yu Xu, like lions shaking their heads and lions dancing, caused chaos and destruction. Nezha appeared with three heads and eight arms, charging back and forth. Yang Jian also activated his Heavenly Profound Yuan Technique, transforming into a several-foot-tall figure, rampaging through the enemy. However, both he and Nezha, guided by Xuan Tian, did not use underhanded tactics against the Jie Sect disciples. They usually knocked them unconscious and then captured them, similar to Zhun Ti's methods. However, the number of those they killed was not small; they specifically targeted those close to Jie Yin and Zhun Ti, minimizing the possibility of them being captured by the two. As time went on, Jieyin and Zhunti saw through the two's intentions, but they couldn't make a move against them. There was nothing wrong with the two's actions now, and besides, given their seniority, it was not appropriate for them to attack someone two generations younger than themselves. Although they were frustrated, they could only watch helplessly, secretly exerting their strength to collect more.
